Trick or Treat in Woodridge

Today, the subdivision that we always went to for the training had there trick or treat, the clubhouse was so creepy and there were kids who wear varieties of costumes. Almost all the houses were opened ready for the trick and treats. They invited everyone for this event, they have this registration fees and after the trick and treats, the kid who have the creepiest costumes will be announce as the winner for their best costume attire. Their horror house was also available for those who would like to get inside and witness the creepy creatures or ghosts ready to frighten you so you must be ready to scream loud when you're inside.

Farm House

This afternoon we were invited by a friend to come to their farm, they prepared sumptuous lunch for us and the whole team went there. Their house was so nice, the surroundings were all green, and I just so love the view. It is so peaceful and quiet. They have this log furniture that everyone should adore, I also like the wooden ladle they used in the kitchen it is so environmental, actually I love the whole farm. My headache just went away when I saw those green trees around the area, those plants, everything on it. Even though it was so hot that afternoon yet the wind was so cold, it would be so nice to sleep overnight there, I am sure we won't be needing a fan or an aircon to make the rooms cool because the fresh air is just enough for us to sleep comfortable. 

No Cars Allowed On All Souls Day

Today is Saturday and everyone are rushing to get home since on Monday is holiday and that's up to November 02, 2011 to make way for All Souls Day and All Saints Day. I am not sure if I will bring my car to visit my Dad, my sister said that there would be no car allowed in the area besides my car is still in the shop right now. I just bought a clutch compressor yesterday but my mechanic just messaged me this morning that it was not the same size as the old one and it has to be with the same size so I went there again to replace the one that I bought yesterday. 

This afternoon, when I went back to the store where I bought the clutch of my compressor, the downtown was not that crowded yet when we went home tonight, all sides were heavy. And when times like this, I always wish I could drive my car so to lessen any hassle but I need to prolong my patience, I already told the mechanic to make sure everything is repaired before I would get it next week. I hope though that when I get the car, it took me months to come back to the shop again for maintenance. Honestly, I am really getting tired of it at all, how I wish I could a brand new car right away, how I wish to have money so I can buy a car in an instant. LOL!

Before Year Ends

Our floor mat is damaged at all; it has been here for almost two years now. And I think I really need to get rid of this and buy a new one. I looked for it in the mall the other day and I was really thinking that before Christmas I would have to buy it, I also thinking to buy sets of curtains. I hope I can do that just before the year ends, actually I thought of that a long time ago and plan to buy that few months back, but grrr our car is always broke and now it is in the shop. 

On My Natal Day With My Dad

Just before my birthday, I promised myself to visit my Dad on my natal day and so I called my sister to accompany me there. We took our kids as well and her mother- in-law. Since I was so tired on the day before my birthday, I took a nap at home first before we headed to the church and at the memorial park. I bought my Dad two flowers and candles; we whispered a prayer for him. 

My birthday was fulfilling because of the small visit I had to my Dad, I was just so happy then and right after that small visit, I treated the kids and sister and her mother-in-law at a restaurant here at our place. It was not grand at all but with my family here, everything just great. 

Cheaper Vs. Clear Calls

I have two phones at home; actually I have 3 plus the cellphone. And those were placed in our bedroom, the first one, the white one is the magic jack where my husband can call me, we can save a lot using that phone line. So if your husband resides abroad, this one is highly recommended that is if you don't like to bill big time whenever you call him or he calls you. The second one, the black one is our local phone; I have that for my DSL and when I would call my friends here. But recently, my husband calls me on the black phone, because my cell phone does not receive his calls. I am not sure, it just doesn't ring when I am inside the house, and so for him to at least wake me up through his call, he is using now the black one. The magic jack is off during morning so he got no options but to call me on my landline, which we found out, he sounds so clear and there's no cut out when he calls me on that.

Everyone Must Loved

My kids love cookies so no wonder I always have stock cookies at home. I also sometimes send it to friends as my gifts. Later, I found out that the cookie baskets are most appropriate than sending cookies in a can as my Christmas gifts. Thus, I am looking for some baskets for cookie; it would be a great idea to store varieties of cookies there with ribbon on it. I thought to send gifts to my daughter's teacher in Kumon, their adviser, and Mj’s coach in swimming. You know cookies are good to munch while you are watching movie at home. You could also offer it for some snacks when you have guests at home.

Eon Card Expired

My eon card is nearly to expire. I thought it will never expire just like the ATM card but recently paypal is sending me message about my card's expiration date and it is this month. So I went to the union bank where I enroll my card and they took my card and said it will be replace by a week or two. I asked the in charge if they would only edit the expiration date, she said no, the card number will be replace so it will be totally new. She also told me not to worry if I would enroll it again, because they have the toll number for me to call to assist me during the process. I am not sure though if I need to enroll back again online or I'll just edit the card number. I'll have to wait for the card to arrive so I will know what to do. 

Stocking Stuffers, Treats and Toys

Christmas time is approaching and though we do not have a fire place, I always put out christmas stocking for the kids. They like to find stocking stuffers, treats and small toys, that they can have right away. Now you might think that the kids would know which stocking belongs to them, but with my little one, she will just grab the first one no matter who it was intended for. That is the reason that I think a personalized Christmas stocking, one for each of the girls, would be a great thing. Then my little one will have her own and she will know it is hers instead of just grabbing her sisters, like she did last year.

Taking A Nap

I took a nap when we arrived home from the pool, my knees were aching, I even made a joke to my sister that when I get old, I know what would be my illness then, it will be rheumatism just like my father. I was so tired and since my daughter was still watching the TV, I told her to lock all the windows and doors since I will take my nap and she will just wake me up when she goes to sleep. She slept around 11:00 p.m., then I woke up, checking all the doors and windows and the plug if it was unplugged and here I am, trying to update my blog. I know these all nonsense, but let me just say goodnight and good morning to each one of you. 

Starting To Save Up Again

I am so happy that I am able to save some for now, even though I just deposited a small amount but with that, I know for sure it will grow big in the future. I was really disappointed with my expenses last month but I realized I didn't spend too much with nothing. I was able to transfer my Dad at the exclusive memorial park and for me I guess that was just an achievement. 

Made of Steel

I guess we will not going to be at the place where we planned to be this month. Geez, I missed seeing steel buildings around the area, I had been there last summer and I tell you I was amazed with how it could offer a lifetime to us. I planned to put a garage on this house but I have doubts if I ever pursue the plan. As you know, I just rented this house. Oh well, let's see, when my husband arrives I would really convince him to buy a house for us here and definitely it will be a house made of steel, what do you think? Do you think it is good for us to have a house like that? 

Away From Cockroaches

One friend told me that when you put a zonrox on a sponge, cockroach would never get near it. You could be save from any bacteria or virus that cockroach have. I tried it last night, and it works. You know how sponge gets to expose from cockroach when we sleep at night and when we just left it in the side of our sink. You'll never know that cockroaches were already feasting on the sponge while you are fast asleep. Koi Fish

My friend is so fund with koi fish, so I was really intrigued of how it looks like. They said that it is a lucky fish that if you would have it in your house, you would get lucky. I never thought that aside from the flower horn, there's a koi fish that could bring your home a fortune. I am not sure if you believe that but as what they said there's nothing wrong with it, if that consider would bring you a lucky charm why not try it right? 

I tried to take a picture of it using my phone, but it didn't seem to work when I transfer it here in my computer. So here's a picture that I grabbed on the net. 

However, when you buy koi fish, make sure it is not injured or it would be best if it is from Japan because they had the best structure of a koi fish ever.

Before You Sign The Agreement

This was what I haven't done before I accepted the house that I loan before, checking the ceilings, the floor, the paint and such. I didn't know that it was important to check all those works and if the materials that were listed in the plan were actually has been used. Many home developers that has a very nice plan like of what kind of materials they are going to put up in your house, the owner should also have to sign it but later the plan didn't actually realize because they are using cheap water based paints, the lock for the doors does not even attach properly, even the floor was not properly cemented, the woods that are used was not in the plan. 

I thought I could not do things anymore once you don't accept the agreement, I was wrong because you can still demand for them to change everything that you don't like. My friend was so lucky because she had a cousin who is an engineer who escorted her on the day that she supposed to accept and sign the agreement, if not for her cousin, she would not know that the house that they build needs to have some changes, that the materials that has been used was not on the plan. So beware when you apply for a house in any subdivision, you should make a thorough check and if you can bring an expert for checking the house before you sign any papers from the developers. 

Victims of Flood

I admit I really came to a point that I don't like to write at all. I feel like I am writing the same old tales. Nothing new, no more, no less and I found it so boring at all. So I divulge my time driving, watching news, watching vice ganda in you tube and monitoring the flood in Calumpit Bulacan. There were many homeless, their houses if not washed out by the raging water, it has no roofs and walls at all. Many evacuated in the nearby school, although they feel so safe at all from the flood, the mosquitoes are also feasting them at the area since they don't have electricity yet. Many kids were already having high fever, even adults already suffered from a severe cough. It seems like they don't have any option anymore. Now, the schools are announcing that they will resume soon yet the houses or the area where they used to live is still have floods. It is really indeed so hard to see all those people trying so hard to survive. Many tried the alternative way of living, since the fishermen could not go to rivers or ocean yet to catch fish, they are using their boats to transport all the people to other town for them to buy some foods. There's one fisherman who is also trying to catch fish out of a net, put it on the street since he could see a lot of fishes swimming in the flood. One also sell bunch of candles because their town doesn't have electricity due to flood. Although they were able to resolve some little things yet they only have limited resources they still need some help from our government so they could get up once again.
