Buko and Pineapple Pie

TGIF! I can now have the taste of that pineapple pie and buko pie I craved for more than a week now. My friend is now on duty so I'll just pick these pies at her work later this afternoon after I send Mj to the pool. My friends from the call center said it was so yummy so I must try it. I supposed to watch the No Other Woman today but it is not my day off, the kids have training today and tomorrow morning we will be on travel again, and I would bring one pie for us to munch while we are on travel. 

Jobs I Experienced

As I said, I really missed working. I have experienced a lot of jobs before, I became a secretary, then a merchandiser, a travel agency attendant, an administrative assistant, an accounting clerk and a call center agent. But if I applied for the same position again, I guess I will not qualify anymore because they are looking for younger applicants except for call center agent because age for them doesn't matter, if you have a great communication skills then you are qualified but I don't like to work at night shift anymore, I mean I have kids I need to attend everyday as well and for me, sleeping with them at night would be our greatest bonding or at least before bedtime. There's a Counter Attendant Jobs available around the globe, I am not sure though if my husband would allow me to apply for work once we are settled. It seems like that the counter attendant is an interesting jobs especially if that compensate you much.

No Pet For Her

I promised my daughter that if she wins the Cherifer Inter-School Competition last Saturday, my gift for her on Christmas is a pet. She chooses a dog pet and she was so excited about it. But she was admitted in the hospital just before the competition thus the gift for her on Christmas should not be push through. She was disappointed about it, she was even cried when the Doctor told her she can't swim for four days and that she needs to finish all her medicine before she could swim. 

This afternoon she was so excited when I fetch her at school; she missed swimming and her teammates. But the moment we arrived at the pool, the rain started to pour and the lightning was so strong. They need to pull up from the pool to avoid accidents. We end up ordering our dinner and stayed there for a while to wait for the rain to stop. I tell you, it's hard to drive when the lightning keep on striking and the sounds of the thunder is always disturbing.

FB Charging All The Users?

When we arrived home on Saturday from the hospital, my sister immediately opened her FB and suddenly she blurted me that FB will not be free anymore. I just shrugged because oh well, I am not really using it; I just open my FB to read and view my friends status and pictures. 

This morning, one of my friends’ status is to repost a message because anytime this day FB will be charging all the users anymore. But I just ignore it, I mean that's really nothing and I know it is fraud. If FB will be charging all the users, I am sure their site will just go down rapidly. 

So guys relax, that is really nothing. But if they would charge the users maybe that's for upgrade like you can use all the features and such. Although the new feature sucks and I am certain people doesn't like the new features. I don't like it either, it is better to have that old and simple features. It won't complicate everything. What do you think?

4 Days with Escort 3 Days Without

It was last Saturday when I asked my sister if she has a friend who can escort me while driving as I thought I really need to refresh what I have learned in the company I enrolled for. At first, I thought it would be better if I would enroll myself again but I was so surprised of the fees they require me to pay. Good thing our neighbor represented himself to escort me, I was so happy. I was able to fetch Mj at Kumon then went home. On Sunday, he escorted me again with little tips, too bad he was not able to make it on Tuesday because he has to practice for his gigs. On Wednesday, my brother-in-law suggested for me to hire his friend since he works in a company, which teaches how to drive. He also went with me on Thursday. On Friday, he messaged me he can't be present because he has to repair his motorcycle so I was obliged to drive alone inside the village.

Saturday came, I tried to send Mj to the pool and we passed through diversion road where the street was less traffic yet many trucks are passing by. Saturday night was a big challenge because it was raining so hard and it was a bit hard for me to move to the other lane, good thing Mj was with me all the time and she was the one who coaches me through all the way. On Sunday we went to church, I was still driving alone and thank GOD I have passed the day safe and sound although I had a hard time with the arrows. (LOL) Until today, I went to the LCR to get my Dad's death certificate, we went to the restaurant where my friends waited me for lunch then next appointment was with the agency where we should submit the requirements for Dad's transfer of remains.

It was such a long day but I made it through, I am driving now although I was sweating a lot because I didn't have an aircon yet, but I will have to have it repair tomorrow. So I hope the next few days I will not sweat anymore. Thank you GOD for everything!

Clothes From My Friend

These are the clothes and dresses that Ate Charlotte sell for me for my little toddler here, it was used by her daughter once when she was just a kid yet now she's already in college yet look how all the clothes that has been taken cared of, all of it were like new. My little toddler was so happy ever to receive all the clothes now she's wearing at school and when we went out to the mall.

Her Fish Just Died

My daughter just bought a fish out from her allowance, I know she loves to adopt pets but fish was I thought out of the list. But when we went to the mall last week, I was surprised she bought little tiny fish, I asked where she would put it, she said in a container. So I told her we can buy a little aquarium for her little fish.

Every night she would clean the aquarium and replace it with new water. She would feed the fish with the food that we also bought in the mall. Last night, after she went to her bedroom to change her clothes, I saw her so weary. I asked her what happened; she then blurted her fish died because she forgot to clean the aquarium last night because she was so busy with her studies. I feel for her, I know she was really so sad. She throws the fish outside our gate, this morning she went out in the gate and look for her dead fish. She was really grieving.

Protecting Our RV

I am now in the process of learning to drive. I am working hard to become a good driver so that I will be able to take the kids places. Now I am wondering if I can handle something as big as a Recreational Vehicle (RV). I really want to be able to travel around with my family in style and comfort and an RV is one way to do it. I know that being a good driver is important and having a good 5th wheel insurance is also good. Protecting or our RV with the right insurance and protecting our family is important. If you have good insurance you can drive with confidence.

Yay! I am back to Networked Blogs and I created again a page for this blog in FB. I just stopped it for a while due for some unavoidable reasons. And since the entrecard was having some issues with this blog, and suddenly they did not accept my blog on their system anymore so I decided to get back with Networked blog and added a like box on my sidebar for traffic. The Most Useful Tools For me

One thing about me that most of you readers know is that I am always on the computer, well at least when my 3 year old is not using it (and yes she uses it to learn things). I have two computers in the house and they are constantly in use. Both are portable and on of them I can take just about anywhere that has a Wi-Fi connection. It is like a Tablet with Flash. I love my Tablet PC; it is one of the most useful tools for me and the kids. It provides us with entertainment, the news and allows us the freedom to use it just about anywhere we want.

Good Compost To Feed My Garden

I have a black thumb as opposed to a green one. I have a hard time of getting things to plants to grow and really I need to discover how to get the plants the right nutrients they need. Well I have been looking in to composting as a way to help me out. I don’t have a garbage disposal and using vegetable peelings and such in a composter seems like it may be the way for me to go. I know that compost piles dug out in the back yard can stink and my neighbors would certainly complain, but a composter could help confine the smell of my rotting veggies and when I am ready I will have some good compost to feed my garden.

Long Drive

I am so happy with how smooth my driving was today, even though how narrow our street here and how hilly it was yet I was doing it almost perfect. Of course, I still have my escort with me who coach me everything from turning to the other lane, to u-turn and to park properly. I just need more and more practice to drive in the highway and I would do good, I know I can maneuver the steering wheel without being panicked if a car would stop ahead of me or there's a car going to my direction. 

We were able to fetch Mj and sent her the pool, although they need to go back immediately since they still have something to do, so I just asked them to bring the car with them back home. While I stayed to wait for Mj to finish, I know this is just the beginning of my journey for driving. Good luck to me.

Next Week

And I could already pay the Interment of my Dad, I am so happy to be able to save up for my Dad's Interment, of course my husband helped me a lot to save up. He already gave me the partial last month, and since some of the money was spent for some expenses at home, I just saved what has been left. 

Next week, my plans would come to realize then because the money I'd been waiting for, from my paypal would be in my bank. After I would withdraw it, I will go to the agent immediately, the one who is in-charge for transferring remains. My Dad will be happy for sure because he knows we are doing our best for him to sleep peacefully. My next project will be my mother; I hope I can come out with the amount that they will require.

I just attended the Buwanang Wika of my daughter today, that's why I was not here in the morning. I'd been too busy since yesterday that is also why I was not able to do my Meme. This is the movie we just watched last night; it is an Indian film that touches my heart deeply. I cried like a river while watching it. It is indeed a good one, and it is true that there are only two kinds of people here on earth; it is the good people and the bad people. We should not judge the people by religion because it will be too unfair for others who is so innocent and who only thinks the goodness of others.

Orange Tuesday # 13: Bleaching

I have met my friend in the mall yesterday; she stayed overnight at home, upon going home. She suggested if I want to bleach my skin. She knows how to mixed and all that and as I thought it will not eat up my time, I agreed only then I found that it takes a while to prepare and not only that I have to apply that everyday for one week. One more, you should leave the bleach on your skin for 30 minutes and rinsed and never should you stay under the heat of the sun or your application will be ruin. 

Weird

It was weird because when I posted a certain meme to my other blog, when I got back the post is not there anymore. And I was so sure that I already posted it, I even link it to the host meme so since I could not find it there in my blog, I tried to trace back the link to the host now when I click my link, it says the page could not be found. Tsk, tsk, tsk, I just shake my head and did it again.

Learning

This blog was my first blog that I established online. A friend of mine introduced me to blogging and how did she earn from it. I was still working at that time and I didn't have time to put it up, but when I resigned from work, I registered in blogger.com and started to write about things in life. 

I struggled at first, I didn't know how to do this and that, I asked some questions to my friend in which she was able to answer. But I can't asked everything to her about it especially when it comes to coding and stuff like that, so I searched it online. Some were so techie that I could not even understand it, it is hard but I was able to make it through. I tried my best to put it up all alone. I couldn't ask help from anyone if I was too confused. I am just so shy to ask them.

I am not a greedy kind of person so I shared what I know to other people. But sometimes when we help it will just make the whole process worst. And the thing is you were to be blame because you were not able to do it right. And this I learned my lesson.

Mommy Moments : Financial Tips

Ever since the day I have Mj, I am always writing all the expenses for the day. It just gotten away because of laziness now I am back of listing all of it again because lately I noticed it seems like the money that my husband sent me just slipped away, a day or two and I am out of it. So to make sure with my finances, I am writing all the expenses for the day and this tickler here was my buddy when it comes to that. 

Whenever I grocery shop, I also have my calculator with me so I won't exceed within my budget. You see, life is hard now, we had money today, by tomorrow our hands will be all empty if we won't watch out with our expenses. If you think that my daughters can get whatever they want when we go to the mall nope, you are wrong. 

When Mj asked things to buy like a new shirt or new jeans I always told her that we should have a budget for extra expenses. So she should wait for the right time and the right amount, Faith seems like she doesn't care at all but I am trying to teach her the value of money. She can't get rides all the time at the mall, or go to wonderland for fun. Even though those are not that expensive, yet she should learn the value of spending.

New Blogger Platform

I was so surprised when I opened the blogger this morning, it has a noticed of some changes and that we might want to try. So I did, and yeah they are right, it is neat and clean and it is simple. I feel like I am typing in a wordpress platform well actually more than that. At first I thought, I should go back to its previous style but when I tried it like typing an article through it, it was easy to follow. So I will never go back to the old plat form because I absolutely love it. I am sure you will too!
