Orange Tuesday # 12 : The Parents

This was the intermission number of kindergarten group during the cheers and yelling at school. And guess who dances so gaily with charm and sexy, they were the parents of the kindergarten. They all had the audience applauded with their performance. They star of the day was that Tatang in front. LOL.

An Immediate Notice

We were not able to watch the cars on Monday as I mentioned below because as early as 6:00 A.M., on Sunday, my friend called me on my phone and said I should be getting ready because they're going to fetch us up to go to the beach. It is a one-hour travel so we should be early. Without any further ado, I woke up Mj and told her to dress up because we are going to the beach, I prepared our clothes to bring, and dress Faith while she was still sleeping. Grabbed her even though she was still asleep, she just woke up when we were already riding a tricycle going to where the taxi is waiting. We will meet our friends on the highway going to where the beach is located, it was abrupt and we were called without any notice but we had so much fun!

Cars Tomorrow

I am so glad that we can get to watch cars tomorrow, I am sure my kids will be delighted to watch their favorite cartoon movie in 3D. I hope the 3D glasses had a size that would fit for Faith or else we will be needing a rubber band to put it in both ends to hold Faith's 3D glasses. That's what I did the last time we watched 3D, thank GOD the 3D glasses were still alright after she used it.

Mommy Moments : Nutrition Tip, Always On Guard

Just recently my toddler is not asking for milk, she has a regular vitamins though but it is more advantage and best for her if she drinks at least one glass of milk everyday. When we went to the pediatrician the other day, a lady gave her a sample of a box of milk. We tried it the other day, at first she did not want to drink it but I am persistent. She finishes the whole glass of it, starting that day I always on guard when she drinks her milk otherwise it will be wasted again.

On the other hand my eldest daughter always ask for chocolate drink but she does not want to eat the veggies. Their coach asked them to eat vegetable and I was so amazed that one of her teammates really ate leafy vegetables. She said it is her favorite, so from then on, I obliged Mj to eat vegetable every time it serve in the table. She sometimes ate especially when I am around but she won't when I am not. So to make sure they ate vegetables, I am always watching them in the table.

But oh, they love fruits especially apple!

I wish I were like my two daughters, they are both skinny. They get lots of exercise and I get exercise running them around, but not as much as I need. I want to lose a few pounds and I would like to find out what are some of the best safe weight loss pills for me. I know that there are a lot of claims for the various diet products on the market and that I need to do my research to find out how they work and any possible side effects. I want to lose weight, but do it in a healthy way.

I Need Some Motivation

I am so disappointed of myself; I'd been procrastinating with my small business. It has been days since I promised myself to update the collections but until now I couldn't do it. I already told my partner I would send her the update today but geez I can't find any much time for doing it. I hope before I would go out today or at least before I will do some house chores here, I can at least take a look of my files and will start to work. I hope I will have the motivation so I can submit all the records she needed.

The Credit Card Protector

Criminal are become more and more adept at stealing our personal information. Credit Card number, debit cards and other that contain account, pin number and other personally identifiable information are targeted. Protecting personal data is important. We have a shredder at home to destroy bills after we pay them, credit card and loan offers, or any other mailing a criminal can use to get your info.

Another way to protect you credit cards is with an rfid credit card protector. This is basically a sleeve or wallet the blocks an attempt to collect your information by using an RFID reader to capture you information. Identify theft is a problem and if it costs me a few dollars to protect mine, it is well worth it.

Account Number

I already told them the other week that I forgot my account number and that the secretary who was assigned on that office before will just scan my name in their computer to know my account number. I am not sure if the new secretary knows how to scan names in the computer why she can't find my name and she was asking again and again about my account number. Is it really hard to open the computer and find out my account number there, why do they have to make it hard for me to locate my account number, geez some offices doesn't really know how to handle customers, now I want to transfer for another cable company.

You may not think that now is a good time to buy a home, but mortgage loan interest rates are low and buyers really have an advantage when they go to look for a home. With the cost of houses down and the economy in a bit of trouble, buying a home is still a good investment. My husband’s father was and three of his sisters were born in Missouri, so he is somewhat familiar with missouri real estate. He spent time there as a child and worked in there before going away to college then the Navy. Well he tells me that Missouri is a nice place and getting Missouri Real Estate is a pretty good Idea. I also have a friend from the Philippines who lives in Missouri. It might be nice to live close to her or at least within a couple of hours by car.

Kansas City seems like a great place, with yummy barbecue, my husband’s favorite sport, baseball, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He may not root for the Royals because he is a lifelong Angels fan, but at least we could go and see them play three or four times year. Kansas City seems like a nice place. What do you think?

Orange Tuesday # 12: Magic Jack in the Package

I was really so tired last night that I was not able to post any update to all my blogs, and I missed the ORANGE TUESDAY meme, oh well anyway, it is better late than never right?

Last week my husband sent me a magic jack so I can call him again for free! And now we are using it to contact us at home.

The magic jack has helped us a lot, not only we can save a lot of bucks but we can at least talked to each other through phone for longer hours, and not only that, I can also call some friends who lived abroad.

Letter From Mom and Dad

I miss my parents so much; they were taken away from me since I was a kid. And whenever I watch this video, I can't help but to cry. I always wonder what life is like when they're around. But one thing I am sure no matter how old or how cranky they are I will never be fed up of taking care of them and I hope my kids will also take good care of me when I grow old.

My Wristwatch is Back

After like how many months, finally I was able to go to the mall to purchase a battery for my wristwatch. It has been drained for so many months already. I told the wristwatch expert that it has been too long that I wasn't able to replace the battery, immediately he told me that the watch needs cleaning and I have to pay him 500 pesos. I had doubts so I walked away; I told him I would just buy a new one. I roamed around the area for like minutes when I saw my friend texting, I told her about my problem with my watch, she then told me that she has a friend who could help me, if it needs cleaning she can asked him not to charge me that big. So I went with her to the other mall, she said we will not tell the expert that the battery was never replace for a long time, we will see what would he suggest for the watch. So we just said we will buy a new battery for the watch, the in-charge asked us if who opened the wristwatch, we answered it was opened at the other mall, he replied immediately, that's why all the screws were loosened, so the watch will not function. I was so surprised, so the other wristwatch expert tried to ditch me or tried to fool me around. I was thankful I didn't believe him that easy otherwise I would pay him that amount he asked me without me knowing I was already overcharged.

Now, my wristwatch is back and I could not contain my happiness, I have a watch to look at to when I need to know the time, and I will never be cramming or be late for any appointment in the coming days.

Mommy Moments : Filipino Ako

I am sorry for the delay but here's my entry for Filipino ako for Mommy Moments. My toddler's school didn't celebrate the Linggo ng Wika yet, maybe because they just celebrated the Nutrition day recently but I am going to show you my eldest daughter's costume during the Linggo ng Wika.

Our Package Just Arrived

My husband has been tracking down our package he send through Fed Ex, he is so excited for Mj to receive her prize for winning the swimming competition on Saturday. He was so excited to tell me this morning that the package is already in Davao and that I should be receiving that anytime today. I was getting so excited then because aside from the Nintendo of Mj, he puts some DVD's for Faith and goodies and the book I'd been wanting to read since then. I called the agency and they told me that it is yet in the airport, until I went out to pay my bills, I suddenly thought to call them again, I forgot my tracking number, hoping they could locate my box through my name but they said they need the tracking number. So when I arrived home from grocery shopping, I called them to give out my tracking number and they said that it’s already on its way.

I thought we could have it today, but to my disappointment it didn't. I have to go to the airport tomorrow to claim it. I will have to tell you next time what happen to the box, why they were not able to deliver it here.

Orange Tuesday # 11 : Warm Up

They just done their warm up here, somebody is getting too nervous because the competition will start soon.

Bought Some Paints

Finally, I was able to buy some paints for the car already. I would like to stay home to rest more but the car needs to be taken cared of, not later but now. It has been a while since I neglected the car because I was too busy for the past two weeks. And I am so much glad that the car will now have a new paint this week. I hope I am okay to drive now though, goodnight everyone!

A Very Proud Mom

I am such a proud Mom, I could not contain my happiness today when I watched the swimming competition of my daughter, who would not be, when she excels from the sports that she just choose. I thought she couldn’t take a place this time because many swimmers joined the competition, and her opponent already attended the DAVRAA and even Palaro competitions so you really could tell they are really good. I even told Mj to pray for every event that she would compete; she did that during her novice competition in Milo. She will do the sign of the cross before she jumps and swim, and I am sure GOD has guide her through all the way. Her smile was so wide when she received all her 4 medals. Way to go Mj!

Mommy Moments : Sports

Ever since, my eldest daughter loves so much sport, when she was only like 4 years old, she was already biking. It was 6 years old when she was diagnosed for a dengue fever and I promised her to buy her a new bike, a bigger one if she promised me to do all her best to recover. When we check out from the hospital, I immediately bought her a bigger bike. Until 7 or 8, she was still using it, even though we need to do some repairs over and over again.

She also loves skating, she can totally balance her weight and can go for miles, lol of course I am exaggerating but she really knows how to skates. This is the skate that her Tita gave her as a gift. She used to skate here in our village before but since she got too busy with her most loved sport now, this skating has been waiting for her for a long while already.

We Are Holding On

They were so in love when I first saw them, their wedding is so grand so when I heard that they got separated, my husband and I were so surprised. The husband was an online friend of his during that time that when we were still boyfriend/girlfriend. I really thought they will be for last but how does it end when they had so much memories behind, especially they had a kid to cherish always. I know it was not my business but sometimes it really wonders why they have to end it that way?

With my husband too far away from us, I sometimes thought what if he couldn’t take it any longer and he would look for another woman. Although he keeps on telling me, he will never do that, I mean I know him so well, I guess he has a lot of patience than mine. I tell you with our situation, I am not sure if you could also take it. The only thing I am holding on is that he never makes me feel like I am nobody, he always makes me feel that I am special and will always be forever. He never fails to call me every night, every morning and everyday. And he is always there waiting for me in YM. I know we are holding on, I know we are getting there. I guess I just need more patience and even more and ignore all the people around me who keeps on asking me of our status as if like telling me, we will never going to make it.

Orange Tuesday # 10: Orange Curtain

This is the hotel that we stayed when the kids have their training for the standard size pool on Saturday. I really find the curtain so stunningly beautiful; I just so love the color. So I asked my friend to take a picture of me, and when I was done, I took her camera and took a picture of her too.

Too Sleepy

It is good to be back, I missed my computer so much as I did not bring my mini laptop when we went out of town. I wanted to rest my hands from clicking the ec and for adgitizing. The hotel that we stayed in was pretty nice, it was small but it is so neat. Anyway, I have to sleep now folks, I am really too sleepy already.

Crystal Beads

I am so sleepy we just got back from two days travel; the kids need to experience a 50 meters pool before their swimming competition next week. I was about to sleep when a friend of mine was asking me about Swarovski Crystal beads, if it is good and if the designs are stunning enough for her prospect customers, she is making some necklaces and bracelets out of beads and she was so interested on crystal beads. Oh well, the designs are so beautiful, no doubts about that and I am sure if she uses crystal bead. It would attract more customers in the future.

Mommy Moments: Super Hero

Uhmm, I am not sure what they like for super heroes or what they want if they are a super hero. You know girls they likely more into Barbies or such. My eldest daughter has this costume though, the angel costume. Well, for me they are super heroes too; they are here for us to guide and guard us. Don't you think?

And she became a fairy too when she was only in kindergarten, for this event I called her my blue fairy.

Study Table and Dining Chairs

I so want to buy a study table for my kids and new chairs for our dining table but with the expenses we just incurred last month, I don't think I can buy those things. We really spent too much last month and I tell you it was so huge. Now, I have to minimize our expenses, I have to lie low and I hope I'll be able to do it.

My eldest daughter really needs that study table so we can put some of her books on the table and not on her bed. If only the bed can talk, he might ask what am I? Am I really a bed or a table? He might be confused of his purpose because of the books that were put there. And oh the chairs, sometimes I am worried if somebody would come to visit us and they would sit down on our chair because it tends to sway and the hooks were falling. It is only a year old together with our dining table but the hooks were not installed properly or maybe those kinds of chairs are not good quality because of its easy retirement. LOL!

Orange Tuesdays # 9 : I Missed Them

These were my friends from the call center; yes I don't get to see them anymore. Maybe they were too busy already with their own each life. Although I am still hoping I could still meet them along the way, and not in FB, I could only read their whereabouts there. Sigh, I missed the team building and the long chit chats so much.

Groggy

I supposed to go out early today but I was not able to do it, because of my asthma. I slept too late last night so my asthma attacked me this morning. I immediately got my air puff so I could breath easily and when I do that, expect for me to be groggy so after I EC dropped and adgitizing, I hit the bed and slept. I woke up before noon so I decided not to go out anymore since I will have to fetch my daughter at her school this afternoon.
