A Little Easier For Us

Just about everything we buy these days has a barcode scanner on it. It makes it easier for cashiers to check out customers in department and grocery stores. There are some places that will even scan ID cards of their employees or visitors. Bar code scanners are practically everywhere. The ability to scan bar codes has made it possible for us to do ‘self’ checkout in certain stores. I like to use this method when I only need a few things. Bar codes and bar code scanners have certainly made life a little easier for us.

Tough Busy Days

Today was one of the tough days we had, my schedule is so hectic. My eldest daughter will be having a practice at school for their activity on Monday and she said she just can't skip that. So she messaged her coach last night that she will be late on her training, later this morning I will have to fetch her to send her to the pool. Then after that, we will be having lunch and then I will send her to her Kumon for her session in Math, while I will go to my dentist for an appointment I am not sure yet though if my sister had to see me for my Dad's memorial park final decision. Sigh, can I just rest for a while and leave this busyness behind?

Mommy Moments : Family Trip

My husband was not able to come here for a visit last year, so the family trip that we had with him was when we went to Manila on 2009 and I guess I have posted it here a gazillion of times. Thus, I am going to show you our trip on New Year with my kids at Pearl Farm.

Such a long day!

I am still having problem with my computer though, my husband said he will have to send me some program I don't know that could clean up the whole stuff of this computer, I hope that works though because this really eat my time, even I only have to browse. Anyway, I just finished my daily routine here at home and this time I think I badly need some rest, this has been a long day for me. Goodnight all!

Busy At Night

Every night when we arrived home from either Kumon or from the pool, my youngest daughter will always be waiting for us, we always saw her from the window, calling our name. And the moment we got home, there will be no TV at all. We ate our dinner while sister Merlyn is preparing to get home. After we ate our dinner, I would start to turn the computer on so Faith could use it and watch her ABC at kidzui or some other nursery rhymes videos, while I assist Mj with her home works or helping her with her lessons. When she answers the quizzes I gave her, while waiting for her to finish, I will be drawn to my book. Thus, it has been like two months already that I haven't watch any drama series or Pinoy big fat loser, I was not even watch the Vice Ganda shows on Sundays although how much I wanted to watch that but I end up forgetting all about it. They said you could really laugh out loud with his joke and all.,

Last night, I just made a peep to my blog then went to sleep with Faith, Mj slept ahead of us since she has to wake up early in the morning. And my youngest daughter could not sleep whenever her Mom is not around her, she always cling on to me or make my tummy her pillow. And when I will not come with her on our bed, she would bug me around and will not stop until she won. I miss watching TV though but I guess this is how my life works now. I am not complaining in fact I love it and enjoyed every single moment together with my kids. Even though I hope my husband is here with us now so he can also get to witness how the kids are today and their improvements at school.

Furnishing a House

My friend recently told me that her and her husband were selling their house and moving into their cabin. Their cabin is located near a large metropolitan area and that area has more to offer their family. I wonder if they will have cabin furniture or some other style. Rustic looking cabin furniture would certainly match the décor of most any cabin where as mixing and matching contemporary furniture may not enhance the look of the cabin. I don’t know what she will do, but I really like thinking of furnishing a house from the beginning where it is a cabin, a colonial a cape cod or any other kind of house. It is fun to think of what I would furnish the house with, especially for our two girls.

Deleting Files

It is always nice to know that when you need someone to work on your gadget when they seem like malfunction you have your husband with you always on the rescue. Yesterday, just after my husband log out to sleep, my computer was slowly acting up. I have my virus scanner run and the malwarebytes but I did not finish it because I have to shut it down so I could fetch my eldest daughter to her school. When I tried to log last night, my computer was still slow, so this morning I ran the malwayrebytes again and the virus scanner, my husband asked me of the C drive, he needs to know how much space I used up, and so the culprit was there, in my downloads folder alone, I got tons so I need to delete some files and so as my documents. The used space was decreased and the free space increased, my husband told me it was better. Right now, I still run the malwarebytes and virus scanner, I hope when it is done, my Dell computer will be fast as it was used to again.

Orange Tuesday # 7: Barbie Puzzle

I don't know anymore where is this puzzle, my eldest daughter hide this somewhere and we can't find it anymore. Maybe we just have to satisfy ourselves looking at the pictures then. Sigh!

Crying and Sobbing

Here I am again crying and sobbing with the book I am currently reading, sigh! I did not intend to cry but I did, I guess some of the parents at KUMON noticed that. I was there waiting for MJ to finished her worksheets in KUMON, I brought the book I just bought recently and since the beginning of the chapter I was already sobbing. Grr I hate this, oh well, that's me, I sometimes threw a book because I got mad and cried when it really move me. It's odd, I know and right now when I told my husband about it, he's laughing. Can you imagine that? LOL

Mommy Moments : Store

The store that we always went through is yeah NCCC Mall even the Abreeza Ayala mall is already open, I think no one can beat NCCC mall, well at least for me.

Anyway, that's Faith she was only about to celebrate her first birthday at that picture, so we went off to the grocery store to shop for foods.

This Afternoon At School

Just this noon, my eldest daughter called me on the phone, I thought it was only one of her usual phone calls, like she will just want to talk to Faith over the phone, or tell me her scores on her quiz and all that. But I was totally wrong, she called me because she just lost her money, and she could not buy rice for lunch, I just let her brought a viand this morning because the rice was not cooked yet. I woke up so late and so that explains everything, so I gave her enough for her lunch.

I was surprised when she told me, she lost her money and she could not buy foods for her lunch. Good thing my sister already arrived from fetching Faith to her school. I immediately told her to send Mj her lunch so she could eat, it would be so hard to skip lunch because she still had a training to attend to after school.

Towing Services

The mechanic of my car also do some towing jobs, when he tow my car here, he only used a rope. And I don't think that is safe for him to do that, what if something happen and the rope loosen the tight. Not only the car would get more damaged but he would get charge for such and the worst is he will be unpaid for the job that he will do for the car. It is better for him to have a trailer hitches so he will not get worried of the mishaps and accidents when he tow cars out there in the street. It is pretty hard that out of the labor and job that you did, you get nothing, especially with him since he is getting so old already and he will get sick easily. He needs the money for a regular check up to his doctor, he needs to have an easy job and that would help him the best.

A Confusing Post

I am always like this, I am dozing off here in the computer but when I tried to take a nap earlier, I just could not sleep, my eyes were close but my mind seems working. So I got up and did some EC dropping and adgitizing here, I thought I was logged in at the adgitize with the blog that I was advertising. I look at the time, I know I can make 50 drops before the cut off but then I just realized I am using the other account. Do you understand this post? Because I feel like I don't understand it at all. I know this post seems so confusing, I think I really need to take a nap right after I finished the adgitizing.

Orange Tuesday # 6: Zipline

Just last week, my friend and I went out to experience the zipline adventure. Obviously I got scared; I couldn't even let myself to move while I was hanging up in there.

Watching It Over And Over Again

My husband gave me a set of Roswell series, season 1 three years ago and since then I got hooked up with it, and even their theme song just kept on reverberating inside my head. Since he only gave me the season 1 series, he was obliged to buy the season 2 and season 3 because we already finished watching the season 1.

When the season 2 and season 3 series arrived, my sister and I got hooked up that we didn't sleep for one night just to finish the whole 2 seasons. The tapes were just stock here after we finished that, but this morning as I was too tired of EC dropping already, I stopped and browse some songs and videos in the you tube, then I found Roswell again. And they have the complete series of season 1, I don't know what happen but I got hooked up again, I am at the episode 5 yet and I am really planning to watch it all over again. I miss Max Evans and his mysterious and charming looks, yay and Liz Parker as well, her very innocent, strong persona yet very gentle. I love them both, why oh why I haven't seen both of them in a movie, I saw one of Jason Behr that's Max Evans but I guess it was just once.

Ships

It has been a while since I didn't buy any books for me to read, the book entitled I believe, I believe is still untouched. I haven't finished it yet, maybe because I didn't understand it at all. I mean yes I know that it is the man's experience on how he struggle his life with constant pain when he joins the navy, but it doesn't interest me at all. I thought my husband knew the ship, when I mentioned it to him one day, but he said the ships that I mentioned were too old already and he never saw it nor be in it. Thus it loses my interest at all to finish it, the ships were so big though, I feel like, wow, so this was the ship that my husband worked into when he was still in the navy, at least I know now the size of the ship now. Uhmmm, I think I really have to finish it.

Orange Tuesday # 5: A Kitchen Ware

I just browsed these pictures from my archive, I am sorry for submitting my entry so late, it was just I got busy today and since my daughter is on training, after the training she still have to renew her lessons and of course to check if she really study her lessons, I gave her mock quizzes. I hope everyone had a good night sleep tonight.

Wounded

My head is spinning, my right hand was wounded, and it is because I hit our window glass with my bare hands.

Yesterday, me and my kids went to my sister's house nearby, after like an hour, my eldest daughter told me she would go back because she has to get something in our house. I told her like few times, she should be careful and don't leave the keys inside the house when they will go out. But an hour passed by, they did not went back to my sister's house so I followed her to our house. And so I found out why she did not went back yet was that she left the keys inside the house, I was so disappointed, I was mad at her to the point of telling her things I should not tell. We could no longer get inside our house if we can't get the key, I know she was already panicked when I saw them with her friends, she has been looking for something to get in, but there's no other way unless I have to destroy our door. Yet, that was also impossible because it has double locked, to my frustrations, I hit the window glass with my bare hands, I didn't know that it was so easy to break, the half of it was really broken. My right hand were wounded, some pieces of glass were buried to my palm. But I didn't mind it, we hurriedly get something for us to get the keys in the couch, we got a stick and a wire and picked the key slowly from the couch, which was dropped in the floor. I have to make it fast since the wire would bend in no time. Finally, after an hour of trying to get that, we finally hooked it in the wire. We were able to get inside our house but our window glass is broke and now I have to hire somebody to replace it. I can't help it; I am so frustrated with her.

And this morning, she added my frustration when I learned something in school, I feel like I am not a good mom at all. I am so tired; I need some air to breathe into.

A Frog, A Rock and A Head

My little tea pot was singing a song for me before I took her a video, when I already click the camera, she deliberately stop. I was trying hard to let her sing but she did not, instead she said she's a frog, or there's a rock or showing her head. And when my sister informed me of their assignment and that I have to check her book. She then told me, oh no mama, my book, where's my book? Where's my book? Then she goes running round and round. I could not do anything at all but to just get her book and help her with her project.

The Wedding Photographer

When we decided to get married, first thing I thought was, who would be the one to take pictures of my wedding, who will be the best photographer I could hire for this special event. And so we were really trying hard to find one, and I was so lucky because during that time, the best studio and wedding photographer in town had their promotion thus I immediately sign up for a contract.

Photographs for the wedding would be the best memorabilia you could only have after the wedding. Just like me, I frequently looked at our pictures or show it to our guests and I am so glad to receive their compliment regarding with how it was captured and of course the personalized album. Therefore, when you plan for a wedding you should also get the best photographer in town, if I were you, you try raleigh wedding photographer, I believe they are so expert in capturing the best moment and the best scene during the wedding. The only thing I wasn't able to do was to sign up for pre-nuptial wedding photographs, my husband doesn't like the idea at all. For him, we already have a lot of pictures since the day that we met and so why do we have to do such thing. Since he doesn't like it, I just compile all our pictures from day 1 and put it on a slideshow. I am glad all the guests like it; they were able to witness our escapade from the previous years.

In My Wishlist This Year

It will be one of my wish lists to own a DSLR Camera this year; I hope somebody would hear me right now. I'd been wanting to own one since then but what my husband bought is a point and shoot Nikon Camera, now I am seriously wishing for it, if my husband won't buy one for me since he needs to reorganize his financing stability because of the car he expends for me, maybe it is time for me to act, to save so I can have and own one of my greatest wish for this year. Wish me good luck, I hope to have more online task this year, oh please hear this poor blogger who just wanted to have a one DSLR Camera.

Totally Unprepared

When my niece graduated in high school just this year, I was so dumb not to even prepare a graduation gift high school for her. I totally forgot about it, good thing I found some vendors near at their school selling some bouquet so I hurriedly bought one and gave it to her at school. She was so happy, yet she still asked for a real gift, thus I gave her money later to buy things that she liked. After graduation, I treated her and her Aunt my sister at the buffet restaurant, we had a very sumptuous lunch, thus even I was not able to give her a gift on time, and I was still able to make her special day right.

I am cleaning my google connect right now, a friend just told me that the reason why I can't follow anymore is that my google connect is already so full, so I am deleting all the blogs that has been in hiatus for a long time and a blog that doesn't exist anymore. I need to go now, I still have so many blogs to check, ouch the dashboard is still empty wahhh!!!

Journey

It is my expertise to budget, even before I was in college... that was my role. There was even one time that I had given 10 pesos for my fare and I have to budget it for one week. Now, don't ask me how did I work it out, I don't even know how to magic, it is just that I made it.

Moreover, when I was waiting for Mj to finish her session at Kumon, I tried to note down my expenses for today, I only have few cash in my wallet yet I got huge monthly dues to pay, not to mention the side mirror of my car. I have to replace the old one, that's why I left the other one at the supplier for them to look for available stocks in Manila and they just have to contact me how much the cost is. I tell you I am trying so hard these days to live within my means but sometimes it is just so hard to follow it while everything is increasing, the grocery, the foods, tuition fees, etc., etc.

It is indeed hard to be the budget finance for the family, it is not that my husband is not giving us enough; in fact he gave us more than I asked from him. But that extra was spent to the extra expenses I incurred almost everyday, just like the sudden riding in a taxi cab, the three rides instead of a two rides of jeepney, the projects and the extra activities of the kids. I am just lucky because my husband understands me very well yet I feel like I am being too dependent on him. I need to cut down my expenses but how would I be able to do it, when I really don't shop for extra, I don't even shop for myself. It is just so frustrating to know that every each journey we have, it is hard to ride a jeepney. Don't mind me, I just don't know what to write, yay!

Early Collection

I was so surprised to receive the message of our landlady last night; she asked me if I could pay the rent in advance and that is today. I supposed to say no, but I should pay for it on Tuesday yet but she said they need to pay their credit cards balance. I was hesitant at first because my husband just sent me that morning, and I already have budget my money for grocery shopping, for my bank’s deposit, and I paid the money I borrowed from our funds in micro finance. So I only have like 500 pesos or less in my wallet. And we still have to buy the parts of my car on Monday and on Thursday would be Mj's Kumon.

If only they message me like two days ago, I would have to include it in my budget, sigh! We supposed not to go to the mall today because I am in a tight budget but I have to so I could meet her. Oh well, my husband told me to treat the kids as well while we are there, so Faith could go to the mall. As she can only go out in the mall during weekends, I should have brought my camera with us to take her some pictures while wearing the brownies on her mouth, but as usual, I always forgot my camera.

Anyway, I hope you also had a nice weekend everyone!
