Orange Tuesday # 1: Company Anniversary

This was me and my office mates in Digital Interface, a company which sells any kind of computer equipment, materials, laptops and parts. We celebrated the company's anniversary so the management gave us a little treat; we went overnight in one of the resorts here in our place. The picture was taken during our breakfast.

I Feel Like I Was Having A Heat Stroke

Did you notice the weather today? My God it was so hot, I feel like I was having a heat stroke when I went outside to pay for my sister's electricity and water. She can't pay it because she has to attend Faith while I was not around to send Mj to her swimming session. After she was done with her session, we ate the snack that my friend brought then we went to Kumon immediately. Right after I sent her, I started to get to my errands, I went to water bill then to the one who settled my renewal of my car, then to the light company to pay the electric bill, I also went to my insurance to pay my health contributions. Even I was already in the Jeepney, I still feel the sweats in my back and the heat of the sun in my head. I feel like my head would popped out in no time so when we arrive home, I asked my daughter to buy me a pain reliever and took a nap immediately.

Her Ears Got Hurt

Last night, Faith awakens with pain in her ears. She was crying but not loud, she was sobbing sometimes. I am not sure what the causes but she keeps on pinpointing her ears, she said it was really hurt. I put some menthol oil just around her ear, but it did not go away, she was still crying from it.

I keep on putting menthol oil so at least she can sleep a little until she sounded so sleep after two hours. I was suspected a runny nose the causes of her painful ear or maybe an insect though whatever it was, she feel alright in the morning I hope she would never feel any pain tonight.

Saturday 9: Looking for a Love

When I was still single, I look for love that is genuine, a love that is going to be forever and no matter what, even if we have to struggle or even if the world may against us, we will never be apart. Good thing I found my husband who loves me unconditionally, the perfect love I was exactly looking for.

I actually met my husband online but we were not married for fun, we maybe just love each other so much so we decided to settle down.

Yes, many were just trying to fool you around, many were cheaters but maybe I am just so lucky that I found my one real love through there.

Before yes, as I've said I met my hubby there.

If I had I might forgot about it already as I am happily married now.

First and Foremost on my Mind

Take care of my kids is always first and foremost on my mind. I want my kids to be healthy and I want to make sure they receive a good education. But what would happen to our kids if something was to happen to me and my husband and we were not able to take care of them anymore. Providing for them financially is one thing that we can do by taking out a term life insurance policy. I don’t want them to ever have to use it, but I want it to be there for them in case the unforeseen happens. I love my kids and I only want the best for them.

Mommy Moments : Dear Mama

And since I don't have any other letter than this one from Mj, I might present this letter to you when I celebrated my 30th birthday and she only 6 years old then.

Happy Bday Ma... I have a flower for you and please do give me ice cream, cake and a watch.

It was my birthday but she was the one who asked those things from me. Anyhow I find her still so sweet.

This is supposed to be submitted last night, but I was so worried of Faith, she was beginning to get fever. Sigh, but I am thankful that it is also starting to be gone now. Happy Mommy Moments!

Wishing To Buy A House

Now that I finally gave my full payment for the car, me and my husband are thinking to buy a house here as well. I am just trying to look for a house that is not too expensive since we are planning to migrate, I just don't know when yet, maybe after a year or two, it is up to HIM and my husband's push over the papers.

I am not complaining with this house I rented, it is just that I could not make it more appealing like a small renovations or as simple as installing tiles floor for it. Although the owner gave me an approval for installing tiles and they will just deduct it for my rental fee. But I seemed like having doubts about it and of course the expenses. It would be much better if I only own this house then I could do all the things I need to do.

Anyway, we all gonna be there, who knows my husband would surprise me on his next visit to buy me a house here, or be at his place for us to be together for good.

The Disadvantage of a Second Hand Items

I guess I am suffering now of a term when you get a second hand items you also had to embrace all the defects that the items must have.

We were not able to do the emission test and the stencil the other day because the one who would drive the car, the one who is the auto mechanic was so busy the other day, he had some cars he needs to repair on that day. So I have to postponed the emission test, I message the person who accommodated me with the papers.

Today, my sister called me over the phone that the person who will drive the car is available, and that he is willing to accompany me. But on our way there, all so sudden the engine will not start anymore. When he checked, he found out that the fan belt was broke, both the alternator and for the aircon. He called his back up to send some tools, when his back up arrives; we went to a shop for us to buy some fan belts. They successfully installed it and since it was already noon, we have to take our lunch to a nearby cafeteria. So I thought there is no problem that we will encounter at all but to my disappointment, when we arrive at the emission test, the fan belt that they installed was damaged because we bought the wrong size, we have to buy one again for the alternator.

Even though there are some parts that we need to replace and such, I am still glad that I bought it because the major parts are working just fine; I just have to attend the minor parts like the handle, the roller for the window and the cover for the steering wheel. And since I am eager for it to look more appealing, I will buy a new set of steering wheel, a new light at the back, and a mud guard, not now yet since we still have so many things we need to attend to, thus if I would decide to sell it I can set up a good amount for that.

I had a good long nap

Finally, I took a long good nap this afternoon after I drove for 2 hours in downtown. I was still sleepy when we went out this morning to send Mj to her training. It was dreadfully so hot, good thing that we had a nice shed at the pool to help us to cool off. The ice cream in the canteen’s freezer looks so tempting so I bought one. I wanted to read my book but I forgot to bring it.

Even though we got a nice shed at the pool, when the training was finally done, I was dozing off again; I just then have to wake up when during my driving lessons. I was able to control already the steering wheel but I still had an issue when I have to turn left or right and especially in parking the car. Anyway, I would learn all that in the future, I just have to have guts. Oh geez, I love taking a nap when I get too tired because I am certain that when I get up, my energy would be back again.

See You In FB!

Every time Mj would have to say good bye to her friends from the pool, she and her friends would always say, you get online in FB ok? Or I would play games later in FB? Or see you in FB?

When I was at their age, I was even dreaming to have a phone line in our own so I could tell my classmates or friends to call them over the phone. We didn't have one before and since we were just renting a house and as I thought it is a no no for us to install a phone line, we were not able to have one, plus getting a phone would be too expensive for us.

However, even we didn't have phone or even cell phones before, me and my friends were still able to meet up. If we would set a time before for us to meet up, we will just tell each other for the venue and the time we have to meet. If one would be there early she should wait for one or two hours until everyone are there. Even without the Friendster or FB, in which we could post a shout out or a message to a friend when we have to see them somewhere, we were able to survive.

This just amazed me that my daughter and her friends are so engaged with today's gadget for them to say hello, or to chat although they just seen each other a couple of hours ago. I am not sure though if some friends could still set a meeting without cellphones, this gadget helped us somehow when one has to be late or could not attend because of some personal agenda, so the one who's at the meeting place early will not have to stay there for two hours.

This Morning...

One friend offered to teach me how to drive with the car that we just bought. You see, I only have 10 hours for my driving lesson at TEC and I was absent yesterday because I need to attend a meeting at the pool. So hiring my friend would add my knowledge in how to drive properly especially with my car.

This morning, my sisters accompanied me with my driving lessons; we just went to an exclusive subdivision nearby where the road is wider than what we have here. It was easy at first but when I have to change the gear, I always forget to step the clutch. My two sisters were coaching at the back, while my friend was also trying to tell me to step the clutch first. Oh well, I guess, I don't only have one instructor but three, although I must admit that we had so much laugh and fun especially when I almost hit a tree.

When The Weather Gets Too Humid

Since it is summer, wearing shorts is a must because of the hot weather. But if you have cellulite on your thighs, you will get too conscious and would think that somebody might sees it and would make a comment out of it.

You have tried to get rid of that cellulite but never were you able to find a cream that could help you strengthen your skin and make it so young. Do you feel depress when learning that the cream that you used is not effective at all thus wearing shorts or sexy swim suits or two piece swim wears during summer would always be just a dream. Well, you must celebrate now because competent cellulite treatments are already in the market waiting for you. But you must try to read the reviews first or asked somebody who already used that treatment so you will not get disappointed in the end. I am also considering the idea to apply some for myself because like you I also want to wear shorts when the weather gets too humid and hot.

Mommy Moments : Mother's Day 2011

We celebrated Mother's day with my niece for dinner at the mall, we supposed to watch a movie but the movies that were shown on that day were not appropriate for the kids. So we just went home instead after the dinner.

First Party At School

The teacher told my sister the other day that since on Friday would be their last day of their summer class; they will be having small party at school. It's my Faith first party at school, and you bet I am so excited with this event for Faith. So since there is no assigned food for us, that means we can bring any foods, so I contacted my friend to bake a moist cake for me and we will get it tomorrow morning. My niece Moreen will be the one to accompany Mj at the pool until they arrive home, since after school, I'll be having my driving lessons again.

Tomorrow is my First Day

We encountered heavy traffics on our way home. And the caused of it was a two vehicle bumped into each other. That reminds me of my driving lessons tomorrow, I totally forgot about it but good thing the company where I enrolled myself for my driving lessons messaged me of my schedule tomorrow. I am kind a excited but nervous, what if something like this would happen when I finally learn how to drive or even worst yet I also thought that if I won't try this thing, I would be stuck with the thought what if and why didn't I gave my chance to drive?

To Get My Facts, Grammar and Formats Correct

I remember my days in university and how much fun they were. The gcse coursework was interesting and at times, it was a lot of fun. Individual and group projects really could be inspiring; however there were times when I or my project team really could have used some help in writing themes or term papers. I practically work out my reference guide trying to get formats correct. I had a hard time getting my footnotes and references right. As a matter of fact, I had a hard time deciding if end notes are footnotes were better for me to use. I feel envy to those students in today's generation because they can easily find and buy course works online unlike we were before, we have to do it on our own to make it right.

On the other hand, even some of my professors were really though on proper grammar and formats. Even it was so frustrating to think that I or my team had done a great paper only to be marked down because the format was a little off or we did not use the correct form grammar in our paper. We were still able to submit all our works on time, although we didn't have enough sleep yet it was all worth it.

I know we should have asked for help. I think there are services out there that could have helped us write our papers and made sure that format and grammar was correct. And I am certain that if I would get my masters now, there's a free coursework essays I could find over the Internet. Verifying the accuracy of what reference I will be citing and I will be using it correctly would never be a problem, if I just had used this service before I could have had better results on my papers in school. Well as what I was saying I am considering going for my masters. I don’t want them to do the work for me, but I would want them to assist me in making sure I get my facts, grammar and formats correct.

I Missed Reading

Yay! I missed reading books, I tend to bring books every time I went out before but since I am bringing my mini laptop with me, I have to leave my book at home otherwise if ever, after I used the mini laptop, I would read my book, my eyes will never get some rest, the result would be teary and tired eyes.

I hope tomorrow, when I have to send Jm to her practice, I can update or EC dropping early so I will just have to leave my laptop here thus I can bring my book and read it. I have a new book that I bought last month and yet until now I am still in chapter 1, plus there's one book that my niece wanted me to read on, it was authored by Daniele Steele so I should be reading that as well.

Mama? Mama? Where are you?

My niece Moreen was the one who found out that Faith would tend to woke up in the middle of the night, she would sat down in bed, and would transfer a different location in our bed. There are times that Mj and she will interchange, from left to right and her from right to left.

But last night, it was different because when she woke up and sat down in our bed. She called me right away; I was covered with a blanket so it is hard for her to see me in our dark room. After like three times of calling me Mama, she quickly said, "Mama, where are you" with her sweet voice. It is just so cute to hear her voice calling and asking me where I am, when I was just beside her under my blanket. I hurriedly take my blanket off and told her that I was just there. She suddenly lies down on my tummy, oh well, as usual.

Itchy Scalp

My scalp is itchy I am not sure if its dandruff but one thing for sure is that I don't have lice, oh no way! But I already have my sister Merlyn checked it and even Mj but they could not find anything. They said there's nothing in my head, is this because of being so hot outside? Yeah, did you noticed it? That even you just walked short time, you get too much sweating, that's even I am avoiding to drink soda because of my diet, I still always buy one for me. Anyway, I might be going to saloon next week or the week after next for a good hair day. I so want to have hot oil so I can get a free head massage, I hope they do that. LOL!

A Simple Weekend

My kids and I were planning to go out in the mall today but later we decided to just stay at home. Besides we are in a tight budget for now due for enrollment and trips expenses on June plus the car. Me and Mj helped each other to clean the house again, while Faith was bugging us as usual. Right after we're done cleaning, they watched the Barbie Fairytopia together in Disney Channel, while I was taking a nap. It was a simple weekend, how about you, what did you do today?

Mommy Moments : Here Come's The Baby

When I was pregnant with my eldest daughter, everything was different. Aside from I was a first time mom, I was also neglected by a man whom I thought was my knight in shining armor. To be strong was the only way for me to cope up. When my eldest daughter was born, she was my inspiration then, I even said to myself that maybe GOD gave her to me to love me unconditionally until the end of time. I was so lucky to have her because every time I look for a job for us to survive, I always get hired.

I know, she would always wonder where or who is her biological father, she even know where she stand but my husband and I always tried our best to fill in the emptiness if she has, we always support her all the way. I always thank my husband for being there for her as a father; we will never be complete without him in our lives.

When my youngest daughter was born, she had become the center of attraction for my family. If I had an easy pregnancy with Mj, it has been opposite for my youngest daughter because I was sent to the hospital even before my due date. I was thankful that even I had a difficult pregnancy with her, she was still born healthy.

Faith always look up to her sister. When we arrived from the training, Faith would always kissed her. I am glad these two siblings get along so well and I must say they love each other so much.

My Husband is Gaining Weight

My husband is gaining so much weight that was he always told me. How I wish we are not apart so we could exercise together, a walking in the park perhaps or simply jogging around the village. He is disappointed with his weight right now, I even told him to take a testoripped but he said, he is still okay and if he is already in the need to take some diet pills, he would. Of course he must consult his Doctor first if the one I recommended is beneficial for him, we should always first concern if those pills we ought to take is not a health risk otherwise we will suffer in the end.

The Charming Rafael

Do you still remember this boy?

This was the boy we have seen in the mall singing his heart out in the appliance area. The one who was with him at that time was his Dad. I even thought at that time, that there's a big chance for this kid to become a singer. I actually posted this kid in my other blog.

When I sent my sister and her daughter to the gate, my daughter was watching TV in the living room, when suddenly she screamed and said "Ma, this was the boy who sang in the mall" Yes, he was among the contestant in the Pilipinas Got Talent.

I also learned that his Dad past away even before I think that was the final of Pilipinas Got Talent. I also learned that the name of this kid is Rafael.

One of my Biggest Dreams

One of my biggest dreams I was in high school yet was to be a nurse, there were two of us who wanted to take nursing, me and my classmate Tetet. But only one was able to achieve that dream and that’s my friend, since I could not afford to take that course. She was able to wear some nursing uniforms and I was not because I only took commerce major in Management Accounting. Although I was not able to attain that dream, I guess I am also successful with the course I took because I finished it with my own determination, I was a working student at the school I attended and from tuition fees to books the school shouldered it all. My friend was able to graduate as well and she is now a nurse in one of the hospitals here in our place.

My PR 2 is Back

My PR for this blog went to zero when I bought it a domain almost 3 years ago, I was devastated to know that when you change your URL, your blog would turn back to zero. But then there was no turning back for me at that time, I have to buy a domain in which I didn't regret because when I submitted this blog to my favorite paid site, it was accepted right away. So even I didn't have PR, this blog still earned enough. Although how I wish that my little home will be able to get its PR back and now the waiting is over because right here, right now, my PR 2 is back. Oh yes!

Getting a Student Permit Now

I finally paid my driving lessons fee but I have to get my Student permit yet to be able for me to drive. I supposed to start today but I forgot my marriage contract, they are going to submit that to get my student permit in LTO. I have to go back at home to get it for me to send it to them, it is a primary requirements in getting a student permit if you are not married yet, the birth certificate will do. So tomorrow my agenda will be in LTO, I just have to appear there for picture taking to be attaching to the student permit. I am crossing my fingers for this new adventure in my life.

My Husband's E-Card

My husband keeps on asking me if I was able to receive the E-card he sent to me through email. Oh well, I never received anything on Mother's Day, except the hugs and the kisses from my kids. Tonight, when we arrived home, I checked my email right away and I saw this E-card from my husband, it was weird because my husband said; he sent me that on Saturday yet. Maybe emails get logs as well.

General Cleaning on Mother's Day

We have done some cleaning today right after we had our breakfast. Jm was the one who clean her room; my niece washed the dishes, while I made the living room and our bedroom tidy. When my niece was finished, she tried to look after my little tea pot thus I can continue cleaning the bathroom. Jm was not yet finished, when suddenly the rain poured so hard. So I decided to move our going out later. Yes we would go out after church; I am not yet sure where to celebrate the Mother's Day, my daughter suggested for a movie. But let's see what's in the cinema today.

Mommy Moments : Preggy Tales

Since I don't have pictures from when I was still pregnant with my eldest daughter, I might just wanna share my experience with my youngest.

I was still working in a call center at that time so I always have contractions, it happens always during dawn, or when the call floor gets too cold because of the aircon. So there were twice that I have sent to the hospital first was because of bleeding and almost an early labor. My husband keeps on telling me to resign but I did not, I was thinking of my benefits I could get at that time. Good thing my OB-Gyne made sure that I could get some rest and leaves from work.

New Kids in the Block

I was really having so much fun when I saw these pictures of my daughter and her friends in FB. They were like models posing in front of the camera, even though they are all have hectic schedule especially my daughter since she is attending KUMON; I am so happy that they can still find some fun time out of their busy week. Way to go kids, and always remember whatever you do and whatever you achieve, we are always proud of you!

Zumba For Losing Weight

Well, I need to lose weight and get in better physical condition but chasing my kids around and taking them to school or swimming may tire me out but it is not helping me get in better condition, nor is it helping me lose weight. I was wondering if any of my readers have tried zumba for playstation. It looks like it could be fun, but is it good for beginners and can Zumba really help me get in better condition? I know that the kids will love a playstation and I know that it can help me too if I can dedicate myself to following a routine.

First Day For Her Summer Class

I woke F so early this morning since she has to attend her class for the first time this summer, I was so nervous, thinking she might won't listen to her teacher and she will just roam around the classroom yet I was so excited that finally my little tea pot would be attending a regular class this summer.

She was still so sleepy when I woke her up and she was almost closing her eyes when I fed her for breakfast but right after I bathe her, she started to become active. When we arrive at her classroom, I immediately introduced her to her teacher, the teacher guide her to her seat and was behave in a minute. I tried to make a peep every time I had the chance and I've seen her singing and listening at times.

I left her alone after a while, I went outside but I could still hear the kids inside the classroom then I heard my little tea pot talking or arguing to someone over something, she said "No, it's mine give me that" I was smiling when I heard her voice, I am so proud of her for taking good care of herself while I was not around. And I am so proud of her for being so brave, she did not even asked for me nor she cried when the teacher took her hand and led her to her place.
