Mommy Moments : The Most Unforgettable One

mommy moments

The most unforgettable moment of being a Mom this year is when I decided to live separately from my sister. I was having doubts at first if I could make it living without them as the whole time I was always with my sister. At first I was scared to be just with my kids the whole night but later on I was able to cope with it. With the faith that GOD would always be watching over us, nothing to fear or worry, although sometimes I feel like I can’t do it anymore when the kids are sick, gosh sometimes I just cry but I realized my tears could not help me heal my kids but a strong will that they can do it and I can do it. I will not sleep and I always looking for the clock for their time to take their medicine, it was hard but it feels like great, being there alone for them, attaining them with all their need, somehow it fulfills me as a Mom.

Nostalgia # 27: Red Socks

Photobucket

This morning as I was looking pictures for some friends in FB, I noticed that they usually hung a red socks in the wall together with some Christmas decorations. I asked my husband about it, and he said that it is where to put all the goodies and snacks for the kids to be open in the following morning. I remembered that yes I tried it too, years back, when I was still a kid, I hung not a red socks but a white school socks in our door hoping I could get some candies but unfortunately I got none the next day, from then on I never hung socks at all during Christmas. I was thinking, maybe Santa was too busy to dropped by at home to give me some goodies. Thus, I didn’t tell Mj to hung socks in our wall, but those pictures gave me some idea on the next holiday, that would make Mj believe, there is indeed a Santa Claus.

Washing Machine Needs Repair

Our washing machine needs repair, it was just this morning that it finally gave up when sister Merlyn loaded some laundry. She was almost done when she suddenly smells something burn she immediately unplugged it from the main switch. Then later when we plugged it again, it does not work at all. I hope I can find someone to repair it otherwise I will have to buy another washing machine, in which I can't do it now when we don't have budget for it yet.

Best Actress

Wow I was not wrong to watch the Tanging Ina yesterday because it was indeed a block buster movie. From part 1 to part 3 they really did a good job of making the audience laugh their heart out. I just learned that Ai Ai de las Alas won the Best Actress, Eugene Domingo as the Best Supporting Actress and Wenn Deramas as the Best Director. The line was long yesterday, good thing that Mj fall in line just before I was done paying the cashier so we were able to grab a vacant chair. Even though we almost could not go home last night, it was all worth it. Congrats to Tanging Ina casts!

In Planting Some Flowers and Trees

I am trying to like gardening. I tried planting flowers but to no avail it all died. However my husband likes planting in fact he likes to supplement his groceries by growing vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, okra and eggplant. Some years he has pretty good luck but, others he gets very little yield. This has let him to investigate planting some fruit bearing trees.

I wonder what kind of trees I should plant. If ever I get the chance to live with him in his place and if I get the chance to plant that would not die at all. Well I think maybe a fig tree or two. Fig trees have been around for a long time and have been cultivated for commercial use in many parts of the world. The fruit is delicious and is rich in nutrients. It will be a great family project to grow and care for these trees, but a greater adventure to eat the fruit from them, since it was our work that helped produce the fruits.

More Gifts For My Kids

Aside from the gifts I gave them, my kids received more gifts from their Aunt. Mj received a walky talky and Faith got a purple dress and a Barbie doll from her Ninang Lalai. So aside from the live doll that she got from me, Faith was also busy dressing her Barbie doll up, I am so thankful that this year was full of blessings and yes of course trials but what is the meaning of life without spices right? What does life looks like if there are no colors of storms? Thus, we still need to thank the LORD for giving us trials because without it, there’s no way we can handle life, somehow it give us more strength.

No Rushing On Buying Greeting Cards

I just realized now that together with the money I gave to my nieces and nephew, I should include greeting cards for my thoughts how much I care for them as their Aunt. But it is too late already since I gave it to them already and it’s passed beyond Christmas day at all. Well, I have to save the date cards for next year’s holiday so it would be easy for me to just picked it up or buy for it ahead of the time. So I won’t rush anymore for holidays, I tell you it was so hard with all the crowds and the traffics, it seems like it was forever. I will never do the Christmas rush again. No way!

Christmas Spent This Year

Faith was fast asleep when the clock hit 12:00 a.m., on 25th. Mj has to carry her over the living room to open her gifts and since she was not in the mood, her sister should open it for her. But when she saw her live baby doll, she gets too excited.

My eldest daughter got a C3 Nokia phone; it was on sale at the mall so instead of a non Wi-Fi phone. I choose the C3 instead. She was so happy with what she received, who would not be a brand new phone is worth too much for her since she was just a kid yet but she needs it, we need it actually for communication. And one more thing, she is worth it of course it is because she's my daughter.

A Much Need For A Comfortable Chair

I am sitting here for long hours already I just can’t get off my butt since I have things I need to do like uploading some pictures during Christmas in a networking sites, I am getting uncomfortable but I need to finish it so my friends and sister can view it. I think I need a comfortable chair, like a varier, for me to last long here in front of my computer. A chair that can give you more comfort when you have to sit down for like hours. It is also getting hot in here too, but our electricity bill would increase if I will have to turn the aircon on. So I must endure the weather here today, if some parts of the world is snowing, here, it is so warm and so hot. I think I need to postpone my appointment today.

We just watched a Movie

We just went out to watch a movie, my kids were with me. At first Faith seems interested of watching it, but since it is a local movie, she did not lasts long, she was squirming and kicking the chair in front, good thing she did not hit the person who sits there.

I supposed to download some pictures but I think I can't do it. I just took my anti-histamine and that makes me feel drowsy. Anyway I have to thank my daughter Mj for the massage just before she sleeps.

Fun at Samal Island, Christmas 2010

We just arrived from Samal; our cousins have to go there for her store so we asked her if we could go with her. It was so unplanned but it turned out to be a lot of fun. And since their store is located of one of their beaches there, we did not slip the chance to dip in the sea water. I am so tired and so are the kids, in fact they are sleeping right now the moment we arrived home.

Last night, they were able to open their Christmas presents that even Faith opened her eyes when she saw her Baby Doll Alive, she was still so sleepy when Mj carried her out in the bedroom but when Mj tried to open her gift, she could not wait for her sister to finish unwrapping it. Mj had a C3 pink cellphone, now I could see her listening some music, while she's sleeping; she's taking some pictures from it and get connected to Internet anywhere as long as there's Wi-Fi spot. I don't have anything for myself but I was so happy to see them happy.

Tomorrow would be another day of adventures and fun, so stay tuned!

Mommy Moments : A Perfect Christmas

Usually, it was my brother-in-law who cooked for foods during Christmas but since I decided to live a life of our own with my kids, my brother-in-law could not cook for us anymore. Earlier, my sister Merlyn made a Fruit salad, as I was still in the mall to buy additional ingredients because the other mall doesn't have a stock on it yesterday. I was early at the mall so I was able to go home early as well. I took a nap for an hour then I help my sister cook some foods, I cooked the Bistek with Broccoli and the Escabeche, then I made the Mango Float.

We had a Christmas dinner when we were all done; the kids said I am a good cook if no one is available. Later tonight, I would ask my kids to open up their Christmas gifts. Mj is so excited and I guess Faith as well. After 12:00 a.m., my sister Irene and my cousin will visit us. Merry Christmas everyone!

Nostalgia # 26: School Christmas Party

From her 1st grade to 3rd grade, Mj would always ask me to accompany her on her Christmas Party. Sometimes I would bring Faith with us but lately she has to stay at home so I could concentrate of helping those Moms to arrange some toys, gifts or the foods perhaps.

Last Tuesday, Mj woke up so excited because it was their School Christmas party. She immediately prepared her breakfast after she was done with her hair and stuff. I was so ready to take a shower as well when suddenly she burst out and said “Ma, you can’t go to the party at school, it has been told Mothers are not allowed since we are already on our 4th grade. I was so surprised and asked her back “Are you sure” she answered “I am so sure Ma, don’t worry I am alright”

Yeah, I should admit that Mj is now growing up, they had things they need to do alone. Sometimes I am in denial that she is becoming a teenager, sometimes I would just reminisce the past when she was a kinder pupil yet, during those times that she needs me more than anyone else at school.

I did not take my shower then, I feel like someone threw me a pail of cold water. I just told her then to bring some foods for me. Good thing she did her promise, she brought me some moist chocolate cake. Somehow she still thought about me.

Wednesday Wickedness # 27: It's a Wonderful Life

1. George Bailey: [the staff celebrates closing the building and loan company with only two dollars remaining, to stay in business] Get a tray for these two great big important simoleans here.
Uncle Billy: We'll save 'em for seed.
George Bailey: A toast! A toast! A toast to Mama Dollar and to Papa Dollar, and if you want to keep this old Building and Loan in business, you better have a family real quick.
Cousin Tilly: I wish they were rabbits.

Have you ever had a pet rabbit? What's the most unusual pet that you've had?

My daughter would love to have a pet rabbit since they are the cheapest in the store but let's see. So far we don't have anything yet.

2. George Bailey: Mary Hatch, why in the world did you ever marry a guy like me?
Mary: To keep from being an old maid!
George Bailey: You could have married Sam Wainright, or anybody else in town...
Mary: I didn't want to marry anybody else in town. I want my baby to look like you.
George Bailey: You didn't even have a honeymoon. I promised you...
[stops]
George Bailey: Your what?
Mary: My baby!
George Bailey: [stuttering] Your, your, your, ba- Mary, you on the nest?
Mary: George Baily Lassos Stork!
George Bailey: [still stuttering] Lassos a stork?
[Mary nods]
George Bailey: What're'ya... You mean you're... What is it, a boy or a girl?
Mary: [nods enthusiasticly] Mmmm-hmmm!

Tell us about you finding out that you were pregnant, or of someone close to you.

Huh??

3. [yelling at Uncle Billy] Where's that money, you silly stupid old fool? Where's that money? Do you realize what this means? It means bankruptcy and scandal and prison. That's what it means. One of us is going to jail - well, it's not gonna be me.

Have you ever gone through a tough time financially?

Yeah, when I was in college and when I was pregnant with my eldest.

4. [George has discovered his brother Harry's tombstone]
Clarence: [explaining] Your brother, Harry Bailey, broke through the ice and was drowned at the age of nine.
George Bailey: That's a lie! Harry Bailey went to war - he got the Congressional Medal of Honor, he saved the lives of every man on that transport.
Clarence: Every man on that transport died! Harry wasn't there to save them, because you weren't there to save Harry.

Have you ever saved someone's life? If not, do you know anyone that has?

I was saved many years ago

5. George Bailey: What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary.
Mary: I'll take it. Then what?
George Bailey: Well, then you can swallow it, and it'll all dissolve, see... and the moonbeams would shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair... am I talking too much?

What's the best line that someone has used on you in a romantic setting?

Hmmmm

6. Man on Porch: Why don't you kiss her instead of talking her to death?
George Bailey: You want me to kiss her, huh?
Man on Porch: Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people.

What is one thing that you would do differently if you were young again?

Engaged to any sports.

7. Mrs. Hatch: Who is down there with you, Mary?
Mary: It's George Bailey, mother.
Mrs. Hatch: George Bailey? What does he want?
Mary: I don't know!
[to George]
Mary: What do you want?
George Bailey: Me? Nothing! I just came in to get warm, is all.
Mary: [pause] He's making violent love to me, mother!

Did you ever tease your parents that you were doing something wrong when you were growing up?

They're not here anymore

8. Ma Bailey: [speaking of Mary Hatch] Why, she lights up like a firefly whenever you are around. Besides, Sam Wainright is off in New York, and you're here in Bedford Falls...
George Bailey: And all's fair in love and war, right?
Ma Bailey: [fixing his collar] Well, I don't know about war...

How do you feel about war?

Oh no!

9. George Bailey: Just remember this, Mr. Potter: that this rabble you're talking about, they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community. Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath?

Do you think that you get paid enough for the work you and your family do?

My husband is

10. Mary Hatch: [trapped naked in a bush] Shame on you! I'll tell your mother!
George Bailey: [thoughtfully] My mother's way up on the corner there.
Mary Hatch: I'll call the police.
George Bailey: They're way downtown. Anyway, they'd be on my side.

When was the last time that you dealt with the police?

We reported an employee from an Internet cafe for stealing a package.

Reminiscing The Past

I supposed to go out on Sunday to buy my youngest a pair of shoes, but oh well it rains so hard that made us stay at home and watch DVD’s, after a while I went to sleep, while my two kids were bonding at the living room. When I woke up, it was still raining that made me realized how times flies so fast, the rains help me to reminisce those past, my high school pals, my classmates, my teachers and the school. As I thought of them I was wondering where the world are they now? I keep on searching them on facebook but maybe they are not into it just like some of my friends right now, I just couldn’t find them.

Reminiscing the past, sometimes you can’t help to smile and sometimes you can’t help to burst into tears when you remember it all. But I guess when all the wounds were heal, you just burst all those those things with your very loud laugh. You may forget the feelings but you never forget that person. But what if this person is just beyond your reach; won’t you still forget the person? I was laughing so hard the other day when one parent shared her love life to us, later, she said that if she didn’t choose her freedom, she will never know herself so well that she can do everything and anything in this world. You see, sometimes we choose the other way, too far away from the person we love to appreciate all the things in this world and to be appreciated as well. You could never find the things that you used to have when you get back, but at least you have the freedom that you never had in your life.

Or My Headache Will Get Worst

I am here right now at my daughter's school; they're having a review together with her tutor since their last day of their periodical exam will be tomorrow. I am kind a tired and exhausted just before we arrived here at school because I was not able to take my breakfast, I supposed to eat my breakfast here but I forgot it is Sunday today and there's no foods in the canteen. Now, I wonder what time they would finish their review because I am really so hungry at the moment and I need to feed my stomach as soon as possible or my headache will gets worst.

Too Adorable

It is hard to blog when you have your daughter sitting in your lap, while you are trying so hard to write something. She would insist on writing something too, she would sing a song for you; she would do her best to distract you. Now she is trying to lie down her head in my arms while I am doing my best to write a post. It is annoying sometimes but oh well she is doing her best as well not to annoy me, she would say I love you Mama, now how I could be so pissed off with such a little darling like her. Nope, and I guess it will never be, because she is just too adorable for me. I guess I have to just be patient right here, but I tell you it's never easy.

I Know He Won't

I don’t smoke at all and being a lady, I am not really interested in smoking tobacco especially cigars, but if my husband would smoke. I guess he does not care to smoke a cheap cigar you can pick up in your local store. I think he much prefers premium cigars. He tells me that premium cigars are made from finest tobaccos, makers mark cigars has a lot of premium cigars to choose from. I don’t encourage him to smoke, but I would rather know if he will smoke a cigar than if he sneaks around and smokes on behind my back. Hahaha but when he kisses me I will certainly know he has smoke a cigar whether he wants me to find out or not. But I know he won’t.

Saturday 9 # 30: How's It's Gonna Be

1. How's it gonna be in 2011 for you?

I am not sure

2. What is your idea of a perfect romantic evening?

A candle light dinner

3. What strategy would you implement to deal with drug abuse in today's world?

Get them into sports

4. What thing about your family are you least proud of?

Too much pride

5. What part of the holidays are you really looking forward to?

New Year

6. Who is the last person you high-fived? Why?

My daughter, because she just did a good job

7. Have you ever made out at a drive-in?

Nope

8. If you had only enough energy left in you for one last smile, who would you give it to?

My husband

9. Tell us about that time when you were the “life of the party”.

We always have a work over time in my work before, every time we went out of the office we always go to a restaurant that has a live band, so we go there, have dinner while we listened to some music played from a band.

It Really Could Show Off Your Home

How would you furnish your house? What kind of furniture and decorations would you put in it? If you live in an apartment you might want the furniture to match the interior. If you lived in a log cabin, you would most likely want rustic cabin furniture. Furniture that matches the interior of the place you live really can show off your home. I am constantly thinking of what I will do with my house. It is one of the things I enjoy is planning the type of furniture I want and where I want to put it.

You Got To Have Patient

We just arrived home from Mj’s training, good thing the gate was still open when we went out otherwise we have to walk too far and we have to passed by some dark area to get to where the tricycles are posting for passengers. When things like this would happen, I always wish I have a car so it is not hard for us to go home even though it is late already. But I guess before you can have what you want, you got to have patient before you can have it.

Mommy Moments : Give Love on Christmas

What I want to give this Christmas for my kids, is cell phone for my eldest daughter since she really need to have one so in case if there's something she need to message me about when she's at school she can just text me right away. I am not sure what model but I am sure she would like the Nokia with camera and MP 3 as she loves to listen to some music.

For Faith would be an educational toy or a toy piano, like her sister she also love to listen to music, in fact she is humming it though. I also have plans to buy her some books like the one that the lady presented to me this morning or maybe I'll get what they have, it is a bit expensive thus I have to talk about it with my husband.

Please note that pictures are not mine

Not Sure

Geez, Ceterize always makes me so droopy even after the next day. I supposed to go to my daughter's advance tutorial to exchange her worksheets but how I could do that when I just can't control my eyes to close. But why should I complain while this is what I want to rest at least for three hours. Yes, three hours that is, and that is only my nap, to the fact we slept so early last night, I was not even able to EC drop. I am not sure what to do now, I am not sure if I could still run to manage my time, because I have to be at my daughter's school at 5:00 p.m., to fetch her after I would exchange worksheets. Would I still get in there exactly on time? I don't know, I hate being sleepy, I hate taking up Ceterizine, aarggghs sometimes I hate being in a hurry and running after the time. Oh give me a break!

Facing Christmas at Peace and About That Movie

I am so surprised with what I found out later this morning regarding with two celebrities. I hope they will be able to resolve whatever their issue because it is so much better to face Christmas at peace.

On the other note, we were able to watch the Skyline last night, it was good but just like some other alien thing movies, I am not that satisfied with the ending, good thing that they were able to put some pictures that the actor was able to fight the alien even though he was already an alien as well. Find it confusing? Well, you must watch it yourself so you would know what is the movie all about.

Right now, I could hear Faith giggling with the movie she is watching at Disney Channel. She was so engrossed with the very witty monkey, I wanted to video tape her cute laughs but I was so late because she was so serious again watching the movie. I will have to go now as I have to go yet at the insurance I am paying every month. I wonder how much I would get when I reach the retirement age. I hope it is enough for me to live if ever my kids will try to put me at the home for the aged. Well I hope they won't do that for me, I pray that they will take good care of me, no matter what.

When You Believe

Everyone is busy right now at the mall I guess everybody is looking for some stuff this Christmas not to mention that the Christmas party at school is fast approaching. One kid from the mall was begging her father to buy her new clothes for Christmas and a gift for her manita. I and my daughter Mj already agreed to buy her stuff on 20th yet just after her periodical exam. At the moment she needs to buy a lid for her mechanical pencil. While we were waiting for Mj to pay her stuff at the cashier, I was enjoying the Christmas song that the mall played over the radio, I guess even we are on the verge of crisis, Christmas season still brings glory and maybe miracles to those who believe the spirit of Christmas. So even though we are not complete this holiday season, I am still thankful to GOD that I overcome the trials in life this year, yes we are not together but the love we share could travel miles and miles apart so each one of us can feel it.

Anyway, I want to invite all of you to join us in Smart Bloggers Christmas Parade this 24th and tell us your experience or maybe what you did this Christmas. I tell you this should be fun! For more instructions just please click the badge below:

ENT Again For My Daughter

Faith was crying so hard this morning when we went out from the house although I told her we would get back to fetch her to go to their cousin's birthday. She could not stop crying I and Mj felt pity on her. Right now, Mj is already excited to go home to fetch Faith, she is already telling me to get up my butt in front of the computer so we could go to the ENT then. We just finished our lunch here after the very long wait.

Anyway, I have to go now, Mj needs a check up for her ears, it has been hurting her on and off this past few days. My husband told me it might be a swimmer ears, or it may be impacted due for her training so right now she could not go swimming yet until we know what's happening to her ear. Have a happy Saturday folks!

What To Give Her This Christmas

My eldest daughter already knew what would I give her this coming Christmas, she knew it was a cell phone yet she doesn’t know what kind of brand or model it is. She is so excited even just to imagine it, that finally she is able to have a brand new cell phone. I already made a canvassed of the cost and I informed my husband about it. You see, Mj needs it not to mention that she is under training for swimming right now and it is hard to communicate with her whenever I would fetch her a little bit late so cell phone is a must for her.

For Faith, my husband is already looking for kids games that are appropriate her age. An educational toys perhaps or educational tapes like ABC’s or numbers, I guess he already bought some for her yet he thought of buying another Nintendo for Mj and he suggested that the old Nintendo would be for Faith. Mj is also suggesting buying that living, talking doll at the toy store we went to last month for her little sister. When I looked at the price, I almost fell because it was like you are buying a-not original cell phones. It is not that I am dropping the idea, actually I am still thinking about it, who knows I would buy it for Faith. I just have to save and save more this month, let’s see.

They Must Missed Each Other So Much

It has been almost one week that my kids were not able to see each other because every time I and Mj arrived home, Faith was already fast asleep and when she wakes up in the morning her sister is already off to school. I didn't realize it at first until my eldest daughter blurted it out last night on our way home; she even wished that Faith was not asleep yet so she could bond with her.

Mj loves her little sister so much, she indeed missed her a lot. I know she wanted to wake Faith up when we went home last night. But because she knew that I would get mad at her if she will disturb her little sister, she chooses not to bother Faith. Good thing, Faith woke up, I seemed to hear her cry from the bedroom so I went inside and saw her sobbing. I immediately hug her and carried her outside. Mj was smiling so wide and embrace her little sister tight and said it is now alright because she is already around. Faith does not even want to go near me, she chooses Mj to take good care of her until she sleeps once again.

The Dream That I Didn't Have

All my life, I wanted to grow taller but with my age right now I guess I could not have that dream anymore. I tried any vitamins when I was a teenager but that does not work with me. Now, with my kids I am doing my best to give them vitamins that would work when they are still young.

For the meantime since I am hopeless to have the height I never had, I guess I need to look or read hgh releaser reviews, I will try to see if it could help me look young even I am already ageing, let's see if that could really burn my fats. And if I got positive results with it, I would surely share it to you guys and if my two daughters want it in the future I could give a recommendation when they grow up and become an adult.

On the other hand, they must work hard for their height I really hope they would get what I dreamed of before and that is at least to become tall, I hope Mj would continue to grow although I see her to become one, even some parents noticed that. I don't have problem with Faith because I am sure enough she would grow taller since her Dad is, I just need to make a follow up of her supplements she is taking.

Saturday 9 # 29: Reason to Believe

1. Has anyone asked you to believe in something that called for a huge leap of faith on your part?

Nope

2. When is the last time you moved? Why did you move?

February of this year, because I want to prove myself I can do things all alone but of course with my kids around.

3. Malls? ..or one Internet? Are you doing more online shopping this year? The polls say we are, but I'm curious about what the real people are doing.

Malls, I don't do Online shopping yet since malls here are easy to reach unlike with other country, well I guess.

4. Do you remember the first meme you participated in and if so, what was it?

There are many of them as in.

5. If you could invent something, what would it be?

A car that would fly when there's a traffic jam. Hehehe

6. Are you finished with your shopping? Do you still a few things to go? What? Not even a game plan? ...or is there just one person you're having trouble finding something for?

I haven't done shopping yet maybe when my husband send me money to buy gifts.

7. What's left to do at your place (or where you are going)? Is the tree up? ...or maybe you're just happy you found the Christmas coffee mug and are calling that good?

Yes our Christmas tree was up just this month.

8. Is your life turning out the way you thought it would when you were a kid? If not, is it better or worse?

Our dream to be together is not come true yet but I have a better life right now and it started when I met my significant other.

9. Tell us about something you'll miss about 2010.

Being with my husband

For Greener Pasture

There are so many nurses here in our country that doesn't have a job; some even though they are board exam passers they were force to apply for another field like call center agents or an office worker. It is too frustrating that they can't even experience being on their own field because the hospitals are no longer accepting new nurses because they had more than enough. And when there are vacancies, the salary is too small for them; it could not even pay off their expenses during college. That's the reason why there are some nurses here trying their best to go abroad for greener pasture, they are looking for healthcare listings in other country so they could at least support their family back home. That even how hard it is to work to a foreign place; they patiently serve them with good service for them to make a living. If only our hospitals here could support the demands of our health workers, they could have rendered their service in our own beloved country.

Nostalgia # 24: Looking For A House

Photobucket

Last week I went for house tripping again, I also kind a like the house presented but I am worried if that place will flood in due time. I talked to a parent, last night and said it might, I am not sure though but all I want now is to have our own shelter with my kids. I am not complaining for this house though but it is really better to own a house than to rent.

Wednesday Wickedness # 25 Jennifer Aniston

How I wish I will have enough funds for our short getaway, I need more jobs to do this time I have so many expenses to make this coming holiday season. How I wish to win a jackpot for lotto therefore getting more jobs to make money would lessen my concern for spending in that getaway I am planning for my family because we could spend a lot more then. But anyway, God will always make a way if that is not for us then we would wait for our time, if I just thought of this, months ago I could have saved more then.

By the way, here's my entry for:

1. “A relationship isn't going to make me survive. It's the cherry on top.”
What part of your life do you consider “the cherry on the top”?

When I graduated college and was able to find a job.

2. “I almost resent the whole fashion thing. Good God- never wearing the same thing twice and all of those things. It's a pain in the ass.”
How much does fashion impact your life?

I am not much into fashion.

3. “I've gone for each type: the rough guy; the nerdy, sweet, lovable guy; and the slick guy. I don't really have a type. Men in general are a good thing.”
What’s your type?

A lovable, a loyal and an honest guy perhaps

4. “Once you figure out who you are and what you love about yourself, I think it all kinda falls into place.”
Do you still learn new things about yourself?

Yes

5. “The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the pain.”
Have you ever had your heart broken? If yes, how did you get over it?

Yes, I just accepted it that we're not meant for each other. I deserved much, much better than him

6. “There are no regrets in life, just lessons.”
What is the most recent “life lesson” that you have figured out?

Being a wife is sometimes easy, sometimes hard.

7. “Really try to follow what it is that you want to do and what your heart is telling you to do.”
Have you ever went against what your heart told you to do?

Somehow yes, maybe I don't know LOL

8. “The ultimate is finding a place where you have no inhibitions, nothing to hide, where you can learn with one another.”
Do you have any inhibitions when you are in love with someone?

Nope

9. “Life can be dramatic and funny all in the same day!”
What is something that happened recently in your life that you found extremely funny?

I was singing my heart out when suddenly my baby asked me to accompany her to the bathroom when I did she ran towards the microphone she also want to sing good thing I grabbed her from behind and I was the one who got first the microphone. She cried so hard and I was laughing at her HAHAHA!

10. “The first time I kissed Brad my knees went weak - I literally lost my breath!”
Have you ever kissed someone and your knees went weak?

Yup

Seek For More Economical Ways

A lot of schools and businesses need economical ways to house various facilities. Buildings for storage, vehicles, workshops and even class rooms can be expensive to maintain and to build; metal buildings provide an option for those who may be seeking more economical ways for these types of buildings. Even some churches have opted for lower maintenance and higher utility by using metal buildings. I don’t know if one would make a good house or not, but at least it would be sturdy.

Glowing On That Event

Mj has their Literacy contest a week ago, too bad they were not the champion. But it's alright though what matters most was that they enjoyed it so much and they gave their best for that contest. My daughter looks so blooming with her make up and no you are wrong I am not the one who put the make up on, it was one parent out there, who have a good heart to make her so glowing on that day.

And here's the video of their event. Mj really raised her voice high enough so the audience could hear them so well but I guess other group is better than them. She was disappointed but I told her it is alright as long as they gave their best.

Good Thing, It Was Only Her

I fell asleep just when Mj was off to school. I maybe was sleeping so hard that I could not hear my sister Merlyn calling from outside already. I just heard someone already was opening our door at the bedroom. When I opened my eyes, I saw her standing at the door telling me that I should secure the keys whenever I would get back to the bedroom because somebody might gets it from the window and will try to open the door.

Mj was the one who opened the gate this morning and she probably left it at the cabinet nears the window. When my sister tried to call me, she saw the keys in the cabinet, she took some extra wires from our backyard and hooked it with a stick, she immediately tried to get the keys and in no time, she already had the keys on her hand. She opened the living room door and voila! She was able to get inside our house without my knowledge at all. Thank GOD it was only my sister, I wonder what could have happened when it was an intruder and we were alone in the bedroom sleeping so hard.

Tired, Exhausted and Whatever You May Call It

I am so exhausted right now, I feel like to lie down immediately as soon as I finished cooking our dinner, but oh I have to feed Faith yet and I have to EC drop and Adgitize. Uhmm, I wonder why I still haven't paid when my earning is already $10 dollar above. Well, I guess I just have to wait for them to pay me, it is just a matter of patient right?

When we arrived home today, Faith slept so hard that she did not noticed I already put her into our bed. Mj was able to find some time to answer her worksheets without Faith bothering her and I was able to clean our freezer before putting our grocery items that we shopped. When Mj was done answering her worksheets, we watched a movie together through the DVD’s I bought last week, we finished the Santa Paws and you guys must watch it, it is a must for you to see it because it would bring you to believe of Santa and his best friend and oh I love the kids when they sang the "I do believe in Christmas, I do believe in loving and sharing" I tell you, it would inspire you more this coming Christmas, Mj and I had our tears rolling just before it was ended.

And speaking of Christmas, next to it is New Year right? I think I and the kids would go to a place where they haven't gone through yet, we would spend our Medya Noche there, I just hope that our funds would be enough; I hope Mr. S would give me more opportunities this month. I have gone through a lot this year and I guess it would be better for me and the kids to unwind sometimes because I believe we really don't deserve those things.

Our Christmas Tree

Last week, I bought some Christmas decorations for our Christmas tree. This Christmas tree is an ancient because it has been with me for how many years already, it served me right through the years though the upper branch gave up already, I just put a wire on it to hold.

When I was ready to put the bells on our ancient Christmas tree, my kids were so excited. Faith even tried to help me putting the branch on but most of the times, she messed it up.

And here it is

Beautifying our House

I just bought a sponge and a toothbrush organizer so they could have a better place to be put into, we used to just put our toothbrush in a container and it's too uncomfortable whereas if you have these organizers you can just hang the toothbrush without you making worry for bad elements to come over since it is well-covered. I supposed to buy some kitchen faucets as well but I decided to give it a time, I already did a lot of things to my rented home that sometimes I would ask myself if I am doing too much for it, knowing that I don't own the house. I don't want to spoil it then later I would find out that they are already taking advantage of my kindness and my being a good payer.

If we will get a chance to buy our own abode, I am surely going to spoil my house for everything, beautify it as long as I can until I get what I want but of course I must be careful of the cost that we would incur. I don't want to wake up one morning with empty pockets because I have spent it all to our house, I just have to spend our money wisely and I know we will get there.

Saturday 9 # 28: Hard Habit to Break

I am here again at the Jollibee, blogging while waiting for my eldest daughter to finish her KUMON. It is a bit crowded here than the previous weeks, maybe because the holiday season is just around the corner. Time really flies so fast, one month or two my kids will be having their birthday again, I am not sure where we would celebrate it but for sure all their friends at the swimming club will be invited.

For the meantime here's my entry for:

1. Do you have any habits or rituals at this time of year?

None as of the moment but before I used to jump high as they said you would grow taller if you do that.

2. Polar bears seem to do well in the snow... How about you? Is snow just another thing you deal with when it shows up, or is it shutdown time? ...and if you're posting from a non-snowy locale, do you make trips to actually see snow? It's okay to admit it...

Nope, but I have this Christmas display I bought recently they are just snowing, well I know it is only a Styrofoam but it looks more like it.

3. Tell about a toy you remember from your childhood.

A doll, that doesn't have legs and arms. My dad could not afford to buy one for me so when I saw this doll in the street, I picked it up and dressed it up.

4. If you could make one thing in the world absolutely free for everyone, what would it be?

Foods.

5. Do you live close to your immediate family members? If not, how far away are they?

Yes, and its tiring lol just kidding.

6. My mom ordered a turkey dinner from a local market. it was o.k., but not very good. how was your turkey (or last holiday meal) this year?

My brother-in-law was used to be the one to cook for us, he is so talented when it comes to cooking and since I decided to live alone with my kids I am not sure anymore if we could have a sumptuous dinner, well I do everything for my kids.

7. In a one horse open sleigh: Have you ever been on a sleigh ride or a carriage ride? Do you even like horses? Or would you just rather travel by your own two feet?

I love horses, for me it is adventurous to ride one if I know how to do that. LOL

8. What is your favorite Christmas song? ...and sung or played by whom? You know, the one you tend to listen for on the radio or hit 'repeat' on the player...

Christmas past from Jose Mari Chan I kept on listening to it recently.

9. What is your least favorite Christmas song? ...and sung or played by whom? You know, the one you tend to skip on the player...

Jingle bells, I it is not that I don't like that song, it is just it always played even to the Christmas carolers.

Protect Us From The Sun

In old cowboy movies the good guy or hero used to always wear a white hat. Hopalong Cassidy always wore a white cowboy hat. Hats helped us identify who were the good guys and who were the bad ones. More recent movies probably portray the old west costume more accurately. But it does not matter if it was accurate or not, hats played an important part in the movies and in real life. They protect us from the sun and they keep our heads warm. They look nice too.

Mommy Moments: Last Christmas

Last Christmas I was still living with my sister and here are the pictures taken at the old house:

My baby elf watching her favorite cartoon

Some gifts ready to give out

My eldest daughter was opening her gift during Christmas Eve

Faith was so happy to received hers

I am also giving gifts to my nieces and nephews as well, for my two teenagers what I had for them last year was some blouses and pants, for nephews it was more toys. This year we will be celebrating our Christmas in my renting home, probably there will only be the three of us here. But even so I would make sure my kids will have a blast.

Nostalgia # 23: Christmas Past

Photobucket

Do you hear what I hear?
Do you feel what I feel?

Christmas is just around the corner; everywhere I go I always hear Christmas carol. I and the kids sang some Christmas song in our magic sing too. My kids have a lot of wants in this holiday season, I am sure they can get what they want. How I wish I am a child again so it is not that hard to get me some candies. I guess my wish won't come true this year, maybe Santa did not hear my wishes.

Wednesday Wickedness # 24: Groucho

I am again in a hurry this time because I have to go to school of Mj before lunch to send her of her meal, she forgot it this morning. I was not able to wake up so early and she was almost late.

By the way, here's my entry for:

1. 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere."
What is a superstition that many have that you think is crazy?

Here in our country, superstition is just but natural. So no one would think I am crazy if it happens I believe those.

2. "A hospital bed is a parked taxi with the meter running."
What were you in the hospital for the last time that you were admitted?

When I deliver my precious little one.

3. "Alimony is like buying hay for a dead horse."
What payment do you make that seems ridiculous?

Well I am always into budget so I make sure that all the payment that has been made is for a right purpose.

4. "Humor is reason gone mad."
How would you describe your sense of humor?

Medium, well I can make people laugh but maybe there are people who are gifted that even they just tell some crack jokes, people would laugh really hard.

5. "I have a mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it."
Who was the last person that you wanted to beat with something or other?

No one.

6. "I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception."
Would you ever like to change something about your face?

Nope

7. "I was married by a judge. I should have asked for a jury."
I read an article recently that asked if marriage was still relevant. Other than to raise children do you see the point?

When you love the person of course Marriage is still Relevant.

8. "If you've heard this story before, don't stop me, because I'd like to hear it again."
Do you find that you tend to repeat your stories?

Yeah, sometimes

9. "There's one way to find out if a man is honest - ask him. If he says, "Yes," you know he is a crook."
Do you find most people that are in your life to be honest?

Yes

10. "Wives are people who feel they don't dance enough."
Have you ever felt that your significant other did not go out with enough?

Enough of?

Top Ten EC Droppers For November

I am currently hooked up with The Walking Dead, I am now in episode 5 but I am still waiting for my brother in law to download it for me.

On the other hand, let me say thank you to my top 10 droppers.
