My Baby Being So Silly and Cute

My baby is a very active toddler; she always wanted to play with her older sister. Sometimes they would fight but most of the time they always take good care of each other. Mj is a sweet and a very caring Ate to her youngest sister, in fact she is the one who would change her diaper, her dress and would clip her hair whenever we go out and I am too busy with washing the dishes.

One night, as I was too busy in front of my computer, they were just behind me playing dresses and such. Faith was trying to wear her baby towel and Mj was trying to make a dress out of our blanket. Faith really had fun and so I was, she was like trying to put the baby bear to sleep and her towel keeps on falling down from her head. I can't help but to laugh so hard at her trying to being silly.

How to Impress your Teachers

My niece love Candy Magazine, whenever there's a newest edition in the magazine shop; she would buy it without any doubts, no matter how tight her budget is. When she asked me tonight if she could buy her favorite Candy Magazine today, I refused because my money was for grocery shop only. In fact there's no much money left in my wallet but she said she saves and she would used it to buy one. Now she is enjoying it every page, I asked her if I could borrow so I have some tips from Candy Magazine to share it to you.

Since the school will starts anytime next month, I would be sharing this tips to all our good students whose striving so hard for their grades and performance.

Reciting in Class:

Do:
  • Raise your hand so the teacher can call upon you
  • Wait your turn to speak
  • Remain polite even if the class is boring you to death
Dont's:
  • Shout out your answer if you're meant to reply individually
  • Answer while someone else is reciting
  • Sound like you couldn't care less.
Outside the Classroom

Do:
  • Greet your teacher whenever you bump into her
  • Observe the formality of your relationship even outside school.
  • Keep a respectful distance
Dont's:
  • Pretend you didn't see her or hide if you spot her in the mall.
  • Treat her as if she were your age.
  • Stalk your teacher, no matter how cool she is.
Emailing and Texting

Do:
  • Be mindful of your grammar and spelling.
  • Begin each message with a proper greeting.
  • Make sure your messages are worth reading.
Dont's
  • Use shortcuts, sticky caps or text speak
  • Go straight to the point without even a "Hello Ma'm"
  • Send useless forwarded messages.

There are still many things you've got to read in Candy Magazine, especially for our teens. If you have enough budgets for it, go and grab a copy now! I am sure you will love it. Enjoy!

Saturday 9 : Midnight Confessions

If my Internet was so darn slow last Saturday, well it just worsens today because it goes on and off. And I am always thankful that my neighbor here is so generous to share their network as it was not lock at all. I don't know how to thank them personally but one thing for sure is that once they know I am sharing their connection, they might put a network key on it.

My Saturday 9 entry is here:

1. Have you ever had to confess something to a lover or friend? To a friend yes.

2. How well do you handle rejection? It their lost not mine

3. What makes you feel old? I am getting so fat, ugh!

4. What makes you feel young? I laugh out loud, hehehe

5. What’s something you are old school about? It has a good standard until now

6. What TV show's seasons would you buy on DVD? Tell us why it rocks. Gilmore Girls because Girls rock! :)

7. If you could create your own TV channel, what would it be? Talk show

8. Where do you like to go for a day trip? Anywhere that is safe

9. Name some things that you still want to do in your life. I want to learn how to drive.

Another supplement to help people lose weight

From time to time I like to take a look at the different diet pills on the market. That is where I found apidexin. It is another supplement that is meant to help people lose weight. Like all weight loss products apidexin claims it will help you lose weight. Dietary supplements can be quiet expensive but apidexin claims that the weight per pound loss is less than most.

I might as well try that but I have to ask my doctor first if that will not cause me some allergies, I heard some diet pills will make you feel ill and some stuff. But of what I heard about this pill, it will just help you lose weight and not to have any health issue. I am crossing my fingers to that.

A transaction at the bank

Everytime I bring Faith to the mall or to the bank, she also make herself busy. She sometimes wanted to roam around with no one has to hold her or picking things up for her when we grocery shop. Otherwise if she doesn't to walk, she would beg me to carry her for hours in the mall. When we went to the bank last week, she grabbed the pen from the table and since I worried of her leaving a mark there, I gave her a piece of paper while my niece got a chance to take a picture of her.

Whenever we wanted to take a picture of her, she would show off and pose and smile in front of the camera, but that time she was so busy trying to make a transaction and I wonder if she was able to finish it. She seems like she was so serious of writing something in the paper, good for me because I was free for like an hour carrying her around, my arms got rested because she was concentrating with her appointment.

Joint Pain

As our body ages, the wear and tear we put on our joints starts to cause us pain and discomfort. Especially if we were very active or played sports when we were younger. Waking up or walking with knee pain, working and having shoulder pain or just getting out of bed in the morning can make us not want to move. There are many products that claim to relieve joint pain. From over the counter medications, such as aspirin and ibuprofen, to supplements containing ingredients that are meant to help improve the health of your joints.

If you have joint pain and seek relief, you doctor can advise you on what is the best course of action for you to pursue.

Mommy Moments : Motherhood

Later, I and Mj will go to the mall to buy her school supplies after her Kumon class. She was so excited about it, in fact she was counting the days on the day we could buy her some school materials. Today hit the big sale at the mall, so later tonight, expect us to join the queue there.

My eldest daughter was my only lucky charm before and now I have two and she is already two years old. Mj and Faith are so much alike even in their sleeping position, I could find them sometimes have their butts up while their tummy is against in our bed. On the other hand, my sister told me that I attributed Faith's attitude. As I was so stubborn before and would fight over a certain thing I really wanted, that's why they often called me a spoiled brat for Mom.

I have so many regrets before and my world was really turned upside down but because I still believe that I could be happy one day and so I am now. I have two very active kids around me although there are times we fight but more often than not, they are so sweet and so showy that they love me so much. Faith would always say "I love you, Mama or "Thank you Mama" and Mj would kiss me in my cheeks whenever she would go to her school.

Fortunate with these kids, that is what exactly I am feeling right now and this family will never be intact without a husband who supported and understand me all the way. I may not only a lucky mom but a lucky wife as well and I always thank the LORD for giving me a family I can finally call my own.

It's Now or Never

I never tried a herbal slimming pills but I may try one day since all the diet pills that I was taking seems was not working. And since I didn't found anything yet, in the meantime I will just try to continue my aerobics session at least thrice in a week. For the first time, the other night I tried to have a work out in the tread mill, I sure sweat my butt on it. But to my dismay, the lights went off, black outs are striking in again in the city; I wonder when it would stop.

Yesterday, a boxing session was on the list. I waited enough for it but gosh I didn't know that it was that tiresome. It was the second session but I never had the guts to finish it, I suddenly became so weak and exhausted. Oh why it is so hard this time to lose weight than of gaining some fats? But no matter what, I am so determined now to get rid of this flabby fats in my belly, it's really now or never, so watch out for it.

Nostalgia # 2 : The place where my home was

When I was still in High school, I always wanted to own a house; I always wanted to have my name on it. And that thought I carried until I graduated college, since my siblings are often fighting over a house that my eldest sister loan for us, some of them said I should be the one to own it since the money that she used for the payment was from my Dad's pension that supposedly for my college fees.

When I started working, getting a house for myself is still on my list. I was tired already of hearing the fights. If I own a house, no one could ever take it away from me. But due to some circumstances, the house was put behind to concentrate of Mj's needs. And then a job that has a high pay open up an opportunity of owning a house. Some of my relatives could not even believe I was able to get one. I started to build a dream the moment we moved into the house.

But because my other sister and her family move in with us, and the kids were always fighting that later on it became a stain for all of us. So I decided to give it up, I turn it over to her as a gift. I was hesitant at first but I guess it would be better for us, since eventually I would leave the house to her so why not now when the stains are still not that bad.

Although, yes it was not fully paid yet and we agree that she should be the one to continue it and that I am renting a house this time. I guess I made the right decision to give it up for my kids and my family.

Results That You Desire

Both my husband and I have started to lose weight. So far he has lost eleven pounds. As for me? Well being a lady you will have to guess. But we both would like to learn more about weight loss options. One thing we have looked at are various weight loss products such as alli diet pills. As always, my husband and I are cautious when it comes to taking supplements.

We always want to know what possible side effects that a diet pill or other supplement may cause. Doing your research will also let you know if a product is all hype or will give you the results you desire.

Wednesday Wickedness # 3 : Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell as we know it is one of the judges in American Idol, they said he is the one who is not easy to impress with, so you have to be really good for him to notice your talent or else you would hear compliments from him that you even wish you would never hear.

And this time we picked Simon Cowell for Wednesday Wickedness.

1. “If your lifeguard duties were as good as your singing, a lot of people would be drowning.” How well do you swim? I don't know how to swim; I am just good in 2 feet deep.

2. “I think he knows how to articulate something that people are entertained by and still be true to the message he's trying to send, ... very aware of himself.” How self aware do you think you are? Very much, I am aware of everything that happens around me here that sometimes how I wish I would never see.

3. “If you've got a big mouth and you're controversial, you're going to get attention.” Who has a big mouth that you like? I think I already have said this to another Meme, and it is no other than Kris Aquino.

4. “I think you have to judge everything based on your personal taste. And if that means being critical, so be it. I hate political correctness. I absolutely loathe it.” Do you believe in political correctness? I don't know, and I am not sure, I just don't like how politicians run their games.

5. “I find Paula patronizing. It's as simple as that. Paula is more damaging than I am to these contestants because a lot of people just shouldn't be singing for a living.” Do you ever patronize people? Sometimes.

6. “Not everybody is perfect, and I don't think we should be looking for perfect people.” Do you or someone you know strive constantly to be perfect? I guess nobody is perfect, in some way we oftentimes committed mistakes.

7. “I never want to hear that song again. I cannot stand it. I'm allergic to it.” What song are you totally sick of and why? Metallic songs, I am so against how they sang and deliver the song, it could damage our eardrum sometimes

8. “I like the fact that they're cocky now from the age of four.” How old were you when you got cocky? What changed to make you so? Cocky means?

9. “And there's more open hostility among them because the competition is so intense.” When you compete with someone, have you ever gotten hostile? In every competition there’s a winner and there's a loser, but at least you never quit in the middle of the competition and you finish the game.

10. “Why are you having a normal conversation with him? This is a dairy farmer dressed as a woman.” Do you talk differently to someone because of the way that they are dressed? Nope, whatever dresses we wear, we are all human and should not be treated differently.

Looking Forward For Its Success

This past few weeks was definitely one of those busy times for me; well I am on hand of taking good care of everything for the small business I am putting up. The worker told me that the ply board would be the last materials I have to purchase so after the evaluation of Mj for Advance Scientific in swimming, we hurriedly went to buy some materials so they could finish constructing the store this week. I am now trying to view the success of this business that I would eventually turn it over to my sister when I and my husband will be settling this year.

I hope to open the store at least before the class starts next month because I am planning to buy school supplies as well for the kids living there, after a few months, we need to get a business permit for this small store, thank GOD we don't need to get a business insurance since we are just putting a relatively small business otherwise I would need more documents and papers for it. Aside from the school supplies, we are also aiming to sell veggies and fish, rice, can goods and some other stuff. These are all new to me, this would be my first time to handle a business personally and I am looking forward for its success.

We Can Only Hope

I miss my husband so much; there were times I get envy with other wives whose husbands are there beside them. We are already so antsy of getting together before this year ends but we are depending with how the processing goes, but our hopes are high to have these things settle in due time. We have so many plans for this year, and one of them would be getting a US and CRBS of Faith, I hope we could pass the interview, my husband plan to be around when we would get an interview for Faith, although he did not book his flight yet because of his busy schedule at work but we are crossing our fingers to it.

I hope next week would not be that busy for him, I hope the neighbor, whom we thought has the "official letter" would come back tonight. My husband is waiting for them patiently from their short vacation, knowing that he had to sleep this time already because he had to work early in the morning tomorrow. Anyway, God will provide everything if not tonight, we can only hope.

Enjoying The Barbecue Grill

We love barbecue. As a matter of fact, Terry makes his own Barbecue sauce. But one thing about it, if you barbecue on a charcoal grill you get that charcoal dust and smoke you have to breath. An outdoor electric grills would avoid the mess and you certainly will have cleaner air to breath, and yet you will still be able to enjoy the outdoors and have a fine barbecue for family and friends. I know we enjoy grilling, but less cleanup afterwards, makes it even better.

Putting Me To Sleep

I was so busy visiting some websites a while ago when my youngest daughter drag me to the living room and told me to sit down in our couch but I told her if I could lie down on her lap. Then she said yes, after a while she sang to me the lullaby I used to sing for her and that is the Ne Ne Na with a bit of tap in my arms. I was giggling with her sweet gestures to me and that reminded me of her eldest sister, they are so much alike.

One day, when I had a hard time sleeping and I was restless at all. Suddenly, Mj approached me in the bed and would say "Mom would you like me to sing a song for you?" same as Faith did to me a while ago, the difference was that, Mj sang me the "I'll be there" and not the Ne Ne Na. These two kids always made my day and I am just a lucky Mom.

Experiencing a 3D Movie

My kids and I went to watch a 3d Movie yesterday; it was indeed a very exhilarating experience. It was our first time and I guess some of the movie goers there were because when we feel like some balls were as if it goes out from the screen, we tried reaching our hands to touch it. We feel like we were exactly in the scene and we keep on laughing because we really were not. It was a bit expensive compared to a movie that is not 3D, but all of us had so much fun. Faith sat in my lap so still, she didn't move a bit, she was so amazed with the flying objects in the screen. Mj on the other hand keeps on looking for shrek on her side because I told her she should sit down while she is wearing her 3d glasses otherwise she would find shrek on her side, she tried it, she stood up and tried to look for shrek and she keeps on bugging me when she did not find him.

Mariel was sleepy but she tried her eyes open because she thought it would be a waste of money if she will just sleep. Later she found herself laughing with us, enjoying every scene in the movie. Geez I am not sure if I could spend thousand again just for a movie, but I must admit it was so amazing.

Saturday 9 : Upside Down

My Internet was so darn slow again last night, it took me a while to open a website. I put Faith to sleep ahead of me while waiting for the website to load but when I am done and my baby was sleeping soundly at our bed yet the website still loading. So as I thought there's no way I could make it fast, I turn the computer off and went to bed. Good thing, when I woke up this morning and tried to do some clicking, it went well.

By the way, here's my entry for Saturday 9:

1. When was the last time that you felt your world got turned upside down?

Year of 2000, when I was fooled by someone whom I thought I could trust.

2. Should the United States do more to help its own citizens before helping people in other countries?

I guess so

3. What was something you memorized for school and still can recall?

In every law there's an exception, that's my law subject in College. Hehehe

4. With what types of people do you tend to associate?

Easy to deal with and people whom I could take anywhere, like eating in cafeteria, or walking down the street.

5. Besides blogging what is the last creative thing that you've done? Being a Mom to my kids

6. In nature, what outdoor activities do you enjoy the most? Swimming but duh I don't know how to swim

7. When was the last time that you had a great belly laugh?

When my husband put Faith to sleep in his arms and while he puts her to crib, he said I won! He was ready to eat but then Faith cried. Hahaha! I told him so don't tell her you won because she would never allow it.

8. What kind of fashion-sense attracts you?

Boots? But it’s too tropical here in our place so there's no way I can wear boots.

9. What traits in others turn you off?

So boastful

Mommy Moments : Mothers Day 2010

mommy moments

More entries here

Well all the Mothers day has always been a memorable to me because I am always with my kids, although their Dad cannot celebrate it with us, I was still so pampered with his treat for us. My niece was also able to celebrate it with us that have added the celebration, I thought she cannot make it since she arrives late at home, good thing I decided to take a nap first.

We supposed to go around the restaurant, since there are many spots to see when it’s at night, but too bad, it was raining already at that time. So we decided to shed at the entrance waiting for the taxi cab to come over. Here are some of our pictures at the Jacksridge.

Nostalgia # 2 : The House

This is my first entry for Nostalgia Meme of Mommy Rose and I am just so happy that I am one of those who join the very first Meme of Mommy Rose. So guys keep the ball rolling!

Anyway, the picture above is our house way back when I first saw the world. This house was my Mom and Dad first treasure, Dad bought this house when he worked at PICOP. That time PICOP was the biggest paper company in Asia. This place used to have weeds in the yard and I would volunteer to cut those weeds only to escape to go to my friend’s house.

My parents built their dreams here but it died as it own, when my Mom got sick and went to heaven. My Dad tried to relive the dreams but something is pulling him down, he was so depressed when his wife died. Later, when he can't bear the depressions at all, he told us we have to transfer and my sister suggested that Davao would be the place for us.

Wednesday Wickedness # 2 : Aretha

I just love this Meme, it is a one thing to fill in this blog without anything to think about to write because I will just answer the question and be myself. There's no right or wrong just answer of anything that you think is appropriate with the question.

Today's theme, we will pick up Aretha Franklin.

1. "Trying to grow up is hurting, you know. You make mistakes. You try to learn from them, and when you don't, it hurts even more.” Do you think you always learn from your mistakes?

Always, but you will be dumb when you got three mistakes with the same situation.

2. “I might be just twenty-six, but I'm an old woman in disguise... twenty-six goin'on sixty-five.” Have you ever felt that you were either older or younger, for your age at that time?

Yup, maybe because I dwell too much storms in life, ever since when I got in college.

3. “I think the hardest thing is losing weight. That's the hardest thing more than anything else.” Have you had trouble losing weight?

Yup, I wonder how could I get rid of these fats, Oh Lord Please help!

4. "Being a singer is a natural gift." Do you have any natural gifts?

Taking everything with a smile in my face. Yeah I always smile, is it a natural gift? Lol

5. "I always felt rock and roll was very, very wholesome music." What the most "wholesome" rock artist that you like? England Dan and Johnford Coley, I just love their voice and their music so much.

6. "I sing to the realists; people who accept it like it is." Are you a realist?

I guess so

7. "No one loves a party more than I. I am a people person." Do you like to party or are you more of a homebody?

I am more of a homebody; I don't like to waste my money at the party. It will just give me a headache the following day, asking myself where was my money goes?

8. "I'm gonna make a gospel record and tell Jesus I cannot bear these burdens alone." Do you feel the need to share your burdens?

When I have enough burdens I usually lift it up to the LORD because I know he will walked not only beside me but also behind me to catch or lift me when I can't do it anymore. I already proved that, he will always there for all of us.

9. "I'm the lady next door when I'm not on stage." Do you know the lady next door? (yes, you can pick either side.)

The lady next door is my daughter's classmate mom, whom I really don't know so well.

10. "I never felt inferior or less than. I was blessed to grow up in a environment where self-worth was underscored." Do you ever feel inferior?

Nope, I know I have skills to share to other people, and mind you I get easily acquainted but if I feel that a person does not like me to be her company, I will just let it go anyway it’s her lost not mine.

They Finished It

I had been all so wrong to make a comment of the way they paint the gate because when they finished it today, it was just so awesome. Although they could have been paint it thicker but my sister Merlyn said they had ran out of white paint. So I guess that explains everything but I am so satisfied with the outcome. It was not that perfect as professional painters do their job but it was absolutely fine with me, P 1, 000 was all worth it. Goodnight everyone!

Gate Painting

If it was not raining today, the painter could have been finished painting the gate today. But it was raining I guess since at dawn so we didn't have any choice but to cancel it. He said he will be back by tomorrow to finish the grills and the front of the gate. I was so happy that I saved more money from doing the job; I supposed to hire a different guy whom he asked for P3, 500 for the labor. I was hesitant at first but since I was really antsy of having the gate paint as soon as possible, I agree with the guy. Good thing that I asked the owner and told him about the labor, he told me immediately that the painter was overpricing and that he had someone he knew that doesn't cost much.

So he came by for us to buy some materials and let his contact does the job. His labor cost me only P1, 000 but he did not used a primer to make it more impressive and shiny. My contact has a lot of ideas to make the gate more attractive and all that so it was more expensive, well I only rented this house so there's no way I could argue with the owner.

A Remarkable Movie

My GOD, this movie would be a remarkable one well at least for me, the song and the title really surprised me. Mj even told me yesterday that the song reminded her of me singing that, as a lullaby to her when she was a baby. The song is my favorite ever since then, the reason why I always want to sing it for her when she was still so fragile in my arms until now with Faith.

The trailer itself makes me cry that instant. Mj was like a stone on her seat when she watches the trailer. I admit there were many baggage's behind we have to settle in the future together with my eldest. But I hope that she always remember me, raising her, the best that I can.

Saturday 9 : Lies

Here come's Saturday sunshine in Saturday 9 and I am just so antsy of answering the Meme for today. I was not able to post anything last week because I have to resort something out but I sure am alright so no worries.

Anyway here's my entry for Saturday 9:

Saturday 9: Lies

1. When was the last time you lied and why? I forgot when but I lied because I think it was useless to tell the truth and it will just bring chaos to us all.

2. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you, where would you go and who would you take? In pearl farm with my kids! And hope husband could join hehehe!

3. What was the last thought before falling asleep last night? That GOD will always guard us at night.

4. What’s your favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex? Boxer shorts and he knows who he is. Lol

5. If you didn’t have to work, would you? If you work from home, are there days you’d rather be in the workplace? Yes, I missed having my good old friends around, we were always fond to each other, no matter how bad the day was, it is always good to have those friends I know so much.

6. What is a secret that you wouldn’t mind everyone knowing? Being a petite person and that I have a very tall husband.

7. What’s a favorite movie that you wouldn't want anyone to find out about? I always love the movies I watched and I always want everyone to find how great the story was.

8. What’s your favorite all time medical and why? I am not sure that I have a favorite one, but if giving birth to my kids would count as such, maybe that was because of them.

9. What’s the worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back? I don't want to remember it; it hurts me enough to go back.

Mommy Moments : Message to Mom

mommy moments

My daughter asked me some money so she could buy me a gift for Mother's Day but I declined with the idea. I guess I was wrong to decline her because that could have been a nice gesture for her to let me know she truly cares a lot, I know she is but a gift would represent as a bunos. Anyway, she greeted me though "Happy Mother's Day" and Faith keeps on saying "I Ya Bu, Mama" that means I love you Mama on that day.

I posted a note for my Mom who is already in heaven on Mother's Day and I should have published it today for today's topic but anyway I guess I could still write another letter for my Mom although the thoughts were the same as my previous post.

For my Dearest Mom,

I know we'd been careless not to visit you very often now, I know you had been trying to reach out to us through our dreams but still we didn't even bother. We are so sorry Mom; it's just the place where your tomb is so far away. We have to take a bus to get there and the trip itself was like 6 to 8 hours. Plus, the road going there is a bit dangerous, I really am sorry Mom but please know that you are always in our hearts and we will never ever forget you. Please don't turn away when you visit me in my dreams, it really pained me a lot when I could not touch you yet I could see you so far away from me. Dad has been telling me in my dreams also that you were so upset and disappointed with us, please don't Mom you know that I love you so much!

Remember our memories then when you are still alive? Oh it has always been in my thoughts and I always wanted to go back so I could hug you so tight to let you know that you are always the best mom in the whole world, although we were only together for only few years. I oftentimes told myself when I was in my Elementary that it could have been so different when you are here. When my classmates brag about their mother at school, I always wish you were alive so I could also tell them how lovely and how kind you are to me and how spoiled I was to you. You are so beautiful inside and out, you helped your siblings to finish their school, you always gave your best to all of us. My dad has been so lucky to have you Mom, that's why he was so depressed that you have gone in an instant. I always miss you Ma, your memories have been my inspiration to be of what I am now. You and Dad had given me a lot of strength when I feel like I could not bear the storms in life at all. You and Dad had been my fortress so I could fight and stood still even how rocky my life has been.

Oh, I could still hear your voice to prepare myself because I would deliver Mj in no time. I was sleeping soundly at that night; I got up suddenly when I heard you were whispering to me. I was not scared at all Ma, during those times I really need you and you did not fail me because I believe you were there. Thank you so much Ma for always being there yet how I wish you are really here, we really need you and Dad for this family to become intact once and for all, how I wish you were here both to reprimand us we should not be fighting. Moreover, I know you both are resting in peace now and that I should not bug you with those things, I believe we will be alright in due time, I just have to believe that God will never forsake us.

Our Gate Has To Be Paint

I supposed to have our gate paint this week but when I was all set to buy some thinner and paints for it. The owner said that the labor cost too much, he said he will just send someone to paint the gate. So I am waiting for him to come by from the province to talk about painting the gate, he would be here perhaps tomorrow. I so wanted to put an outdoor décor near the gate but I am mixed up with the thought that I will be just wasting my money to it since we eventually would move out soon, maybe when we are already settled to the new place I might ask my husband to buy me some decors I could put outside in his house.

Meanwhile, I have to attain the wild weeds that grew in front of our yard; those were long already and so ready to be cut. I hope I could find someone to hire cutting the weeds, they really need to be taken cared of or probably if I could not hire one, I might just buy a bolo for me to cut those weeds.

I am so hooked up with my new book

I bought a new book the other week for me to read when I have to wait my eldest daughter from her activities. I sometimes bring my laptop with me but the battery drained so fast, so I have to have an alternative so I not get bored especially at Kumon. I used to adore Sidney Sheldon before when he was still alive but I already read almost of his books, and since he could no longer write, I have to look for another author that I could passionately read each page that he or she wrote.

One day, I got curious with my friend's book that she brought at work. She was reading so serious that she even doesn't notice the time; her eyes were glued to it. Later, I asked her if I could borrow her book when she is done. After a week, she handed me the book and like her, I was enjoying each flipping of the page, it was so interesting and so magnifying well but of course no one could defeat my ever favorite author and that is no other than Sidney Sheldon. And as I said before we could not ask him to write anymore and so next to Sidney Sheldon, I have to, no I think I really like her and the way she conveys her writings and thoughts, I am talking to no other than Danielle Steele. Yes from then on, when my friend lends me her book entitled the Ring, I am already looking after her novels.

And now, even I am in the Jeepney, I will always take a chance to read at least one page so to know what happen in the next scene.

Wednesday Wickedness # 1 : John Lennon

Join the fun and have fun

This would be my first time to join the Wednesday Wickedness, this was introduced by Saturday 9 Meme. I thought I will be just checking it but I guess it is so much fun to join. So guys here's my first entry for this Meme.

1. “Since light travels faster than sound, people appear bright until you hear them speak.” Who was the last celebrity that you thought was bright until you saw them interviewed? It was always Kris Aquino, I just love the way she delivers her thoughts and critics.

2. “Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.” Do you get upset and do you think you're being lazy when you do nothing? It gives me a headache and I felt so nasty.

3. “If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliché that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.” Do you think that the U.S. and our wars seem to just ignore our history? History will always be a history, it is there and you never could make it shrink, vanish, or fades. Did I answer this question right? Hahaha!

4. "I'm not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I've always been a freak. So I've been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I'm one of those people." Do you feel you conform just to fit in? I am the type of person who doesn't like arguments but I live with my principle.

5. "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." Do you feel that you at times do not enjoy the moment because you are worried about what comes next? The future would worry at its own, so I'll just enjoy what life could offer to me now.

6. "The more real you get, the more unreal everything else is." Does it seem that when you learn more about yourself, that others' opinions of you are more likely to seem stupid? Why do I care about them, as long as I am happy and that I know I don't offended anyone so I don't give a damn thing, their opinions don't affect me at all.

7. "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." Do you feel that when you share beliefs with someone, there is more likelihood in accomplish a goal? If he would agree with it, why not?

8. "God is a concept by which we measure our pain." How religious or spiritual are you? Or how cynical are you? (Pick your question.) I hear mass every Sunday at least.

9. "Before Elvis there was nothing." Do you think as rock 'n roll history is concerned, that Elvis had that big an impact? Elvis will always be Elvis and Michael will always be Michael, they made it to the top and we should respect that.

10. "Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that." Do you feel after what has happened on Wall Street and our financial institutions, that his quote is more relevant today? I will just pray for good of this nation and that we will overcome our economy status.

I Voted Yesterday, What About You?

I thought I could never vote anymore since it has been a long while that I didn't vote the previous election. But when my sister checked my name at the school where I registered long time ago, my name was still there. So with no further ado, I went to the precinct I was assigned to vote. It maybe so dread hot in other city but in our place, there's some rain drops in the ground, I guess it was a blessing; it would help the people to remain calm and relax.

Maybe I was one of those lucky voters because I didn't have to fall in line, there's no much crowd when I got there. In fact I was being accommodated so fast with no hassle at all, it was so solace and so smooth, no pressure to be in a hurry to shade to those whom I wanted to win because nobody waited for us to finish outside. When I went to where the PCOS machine was place and see the "congratulations" that fast, I was so relieved finally I cast my vote. I was hesitant at first though and so surprised that I didn't encounter any problem at all.

Plus, I am so glad, that right now my bet for President is way ahead from his contender, though my Vice President is not, well if the lead for the Vise President would win, I am still alright with it. Who knows they might be a good tandem. This nation needs our support very badly so whoever wins, go for it and please don't corrupt, our country needs more than that.

I might recommend one for them

I could still remember when I was working as a call center agent, we attain calls for enhancement pill and some were asking if it was really true that it could help them, if I just knew a testosterone cream I might recommend one for them. On the other hand some were just prank callers though just trying to get our attention to it, some were decent when they asked questions about the product, they even told us they were hired as an entertainer to a club and they really wanted to get huge.

I would laugh secretly at times, I mean in our culture we are really not that expose for such thing right? Although, we understand that some people really need some help, I have no against it but I was just so thankful it was not the project that we used to received calls every night, I guess it happens only once in a month. I was assigned to a more complicated but a happy project during those times, I so miss my friends there.

Inspiring Message For Mothers

Yesterday, I received messages from some of my friends through my cellphone, and I thought to share these inspiring thoughts for Mothers Day. I hope you all had a good day!

"Of all the earthly things God gives. There's one above all others. It is precious, priceless gift of loving Christian mothers. Godly mothers not only bring you up, they bring you to GOD."

"A woman has strengths that amaze men. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens. She holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when she feels like screaming. She sings when she feels like crying, cries when she's happy and laughs when she's afraid. Her love is unconditional! There's only one thing wrong with her, she sometimes forget what she is worth."

"It would take a thousand workers to build a castle a million soldier to protect a country but it takes only one woman to build a happy home."

"Nothing compares to a Mom's love. She looks with her heart and feels with her eyes. A mom is the bank where her children deposit all their worries and hurt. A mom is the cement that keeps her family together and her love lasts a lifetime. "

"Motherhood is a tough 24 hour job: No pay, No day off, most often unappreciated and yet resignation is impossible.
"

And before I park my keyboard here, if you are in the Philippines right now, would you mind to go out and vote? Please don't let your vote be bought by some candidates whose aim is only to corrupt, please vote wisely!

A Housemate

My friend has been telling me since college that a not like ours is staying at their house. I didn't believe it at first but there were instances already that prove they have a companion in their house. One of them was when they were taking a nap one afternoon and she found out a trace of a glue that she threw in the trash can left a drawing on her nails, I told her maybe it was her niece who did that while she was asleep but the question is why the world could her little niece draw an image that has horns.

One night when she was chatting, an image who passes by reflected on her monitor, she just ignored it but then the next night, the image already stopped at her back and it is not only reflected on her monitor but it was already on her webcam. She turned the webcam off immediately and pretended that nothing happened.

Recently was different, she did not see anything or feels like there is someone on her back but her chat mate whom she let her view her webcam with was the one who said she had a companion. All these things happened on their house, they already have it blessed by a priest but this creature still did not go away, it has been so many years that they reside on that house with those weird instances still they stayed. Their invisible housemate has been their companion since then and that maybe they are already used to it.

To My Mom

I heard you were a good Mom to me, that even though how stubborn I was when I was a kid you would always been there to defend me and protect me from being reprimanded or scolded. Papa would hit me sometimes because I was so hard headed but you were there, always telling them, I was just a kid, so playful and full of adventures.

You were always there even though I used to sneak out to the market just to steal the prawn you sell there. I didn’t know what I was doing and I am sorry for that, yet you didn't get mad, instead you would laugh at how that tiny hand work so hard from under the table just to get one prawn. And when you caught me, you just gave out the prawn I so wanted to grill with my friends, they were so happy, who would not be? While they had a free huge so tasty prawn for dinner that we shared together right after it was cooked.

Everyday, you would buy me a new dress as I get too messy whenever I was with you when you work. My sisters was jealous and concern how expensive I was to be with, they would insist me to stay at home because I keep on bothering you at the market but when I started to cry, you would always ran to me and tried to calm me down. You would always go my way, you would bring me then wherever you go.

They day you have taken away from me, things changed so rapidly. Although Dad would always treat me like a princess, it was still different when you were still with me. I have no new dress every day at all, I have no prawns to grill with my friends, and I have no one to defend me whenever I get too stubborn. Even though it has been so many years already that GOD took you away from me, I still miss you Mom and I always will. If we could just turn back time, it could have been different; you may be here right now, playing with my kids. But Mom wherever you are now, I want you to know that I love you so much and the Mother’s Day will never be complete without you, yet let me still greet you Happy Mother’s Day Mama!

I went to the gym again

My friends are teasing and laughing at me how serious I am with my work outs, since I really didn't pay attention to it before and even left it for so many months. But I just can't ignore the fact that I am really getting huge, my tummy gets too big as well and I really need to take good care of it. This past few days, I went to the gym again and be motivated once and for all.

On the other note, since we are planning to move out soon, I am worried of how costly is the gym over at my hubby's place, plus I am shy to get along with people whom I don't know much. Good thing that my hubby have a treadmill that I could used when we are there if it doesn't work out with me, I might want to try to search the apidexin reviews to see how would it help me so I could maintain my weight especially that I am starting to enjoy my almost flat belly since I started the work out last week. It is so tiring but its all worth the sweat that you put out from your body; it would keep you also healthy.

I was so busy

Got too busy this past few days, the advance swimming keeps on changing their schedule but I am so glad that finally they had fixed it to morning; the schedule of her Kumon will not be affected anymore. They have done a good job of teaching the basic to the kids; I could not believe that my nephew and my daughter could cross the pool in the matter of ten days. Now Mj is learning the different stroke, although she has to wake up as early as 6:00 a.m., in the morning, she still did not complain, swimming is really her sport. She is a bit sad that I could not let her proceed to the higher level since the school is fast approaching but we must give attention to her studies first.

So that explains of my absence here, I have to attain the kids first and my work out in the gym. My husband as well is so serious with his diet, the doctor advises him so. Plus Mj and Faith caught some colds and cough on Monday that I have to send them in their pedia on that day all so sudden, good thing it subsides now.

Anyway, guys I have to go now but before that let me say thanks to coach Abdul, coach Den and coach Emmet for the successful teaching they bestowed on our kids, it was really amazing of how they train them. Hats off to you coach and wish you all the best for the upcoming competition on May 27th in Manila.

Saturday 9 : Changes

1. Tell us about one thing that you'd change about yourself if you could. Being Impatient, especially to my family, yes I always told myself but the patience is a virtue, but gosh it is so hard apply it to myself

2. Mattel decides to make a Barbie-like (or Ken-like) doll of you -- what would be the most important accessory or accessories they would absolutely have to package you with in order to portray your lifestyle? A simple not dangling earrings, that is how I show my simplicity

3. Hey, do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds? A free back and forth plane ticket, huh?

4. What was the last snail mail that you received that was significant? A package from hubby, and when I checked it was a laptop.

5. If you could pick out a brand new nickname for yourself, what would you choose and why? Mary Claire, why? Maybe because my BFF's name is Mary Claire I mean the local version of that, and maybe because I used to fool around our neighbor when we just move in before that I have a twin whose name is Mary Claire and they buy it I was in high school at that time. LOL

6. John Edward's mistress was on Oprah this past Thursday. She stated that no third person can break up a marriage, so it had to be broken before the two started doing the nasty. Do you buy that? No. If the third person did not interfere they could have been save the marriage.

7. Do you think it is okay to keep secrets from your s/o? Nope

8. Have you ever played Truth or Dare? If yes, what's the weirdest dare that you did? I didn't dare I used to choose the truth, hehehe

9. What, in hindsight, the stupidest thing that you have ever done? We were invited for a birthday party, I got drunk and I grabbed the microphone to sing a song while crying.
