Mommy Moments : Blue

Bluer than blue, yes I was not in the mood this morning to post this Meme, because of some news I just received. Good thing before I heard the news I already uploaded the pictures. Right after I ate our breakfast and play with Faith a little bit, I was energized as I heard Faith telling me "I Yabu Mama" later she pointed a box of the knorr cubes with Manny Pacquiao in it and said "Mama Kakway, yes!" I didn't expect she knows "Pacquaio" "The pambansang Kamao" The pride of Filipino People. Sister Merlyn keep on asking her if she is a fan of Pacquaio.

The blue theme for today jibe with my mood this morning however I should not let the Mommy Moment slip away. So let me say something about the pictures below.

This was taken during my niece birthday two years ago; Mj was still so small at the picture. That bathing suit is not that fit with her and now it is so tight with her already. We had to look for another one for her swimming lessons, she has two right now but I guess I might buy a Speedo type for her.

My Baby Faith wore her gown on our wedding day, thank GOD she was so behave and didn't throw fits at all.

Just be catching your eye as you walk by, it draws your attention to the product. Next time you go shopping look for something to see how various products are meant to attract your attention.

Empty Stomach

I just got a headache; it has been days now that I don't eat breakfast, I just got too busy in the morning that eating my meal in the morning seems like impossible anymore. I used to do that when I was in college, my duty at school starts as early as 8:00 a.m., so I rather skip breakfast for me not to be late and when I was already working, I still did that routine again. That explains everything why I was so skinny during those times. Now it seems like I am doing the same thing again the difference is that I could not bear the pain in my head at all and I could not think clearly.

So I decided to buy a cereal, I am not used to it but I guess I have to try it on for me not to go out with an empty growling stomach. Mj's swimming training is so early that if I would eat yet in the morning we would be late already, come next week and I don't have to wake up early since her training will be schedule in the afternoon.

Big Chance

I slept too late last night and to be exact I think I hit the bed around 2:00 a.m., already. I was just so busy clicking with Adgitize on my other blog. Anyway I hope it would worth my effort and time, because I heard they would really pay you not that big, only a fair amount for clicking 100 pages per day.

Mj's coach asked me about getting her an advance swimming lessons after the basic because she has potential to become a swimmer, he said it would be advantage if Mj would continue the training since she really love it and so determined to do the stroke. In fact she doesn't want to be around in the kids’ pool anymore instead she is always longing for the big pool. But I got one problem though, when she would start the competitive training, our place is too far away from where they held the training, that means we cannot go there after class, so the coach look for means so Mj would have a spot for the training. He said that we can go there on Friday and Saturday when the classes begin.

I hope Mj would be determined and willingly take the challenge; she sometimes scared when it comes to competitions and stuff. For her she is only an average girl who doesn't brag herself to become one of a kind but for me she is an extraordinary kid who have full of life and a brighter future ahead and whatever she would become I always be there and always be proud of her.

Have you ever encounter a jejemon person either online or in the text message. My niece was talking about Jejemon invasions last night but I was not able to pick it clearly. When she showed me how the Jejemons type a message, I was laughing then I frown, suddenly I got confused when I tried to understand the message. Mommy Moments : Red

Its Friday once again and that means it is time for Mommy Moments, this week we would be showing something red, it might be something that we wore or some stuff that has red. First let me show you Faith's supposedly baptismal dress but her Dad doesn't like the color because it was red so when he arrived he bought a white gown. So I decided to just let Faith wear the gown on her first birthday.

Here's the red gown, I wanted to print this picture but I don't know I always forgot to copy it in my usb, maybe next week I will. Thanks for today's theme; it reminded me that I need to get a hard copy on that one. Hehehe

She loves to ride a cab every time we went to wonderland, geez I need to let her play there sometimes now as it has been a while she did not visit the place.

Last summer, I enrolled Mj to the Jollibee summer workshop so that explains the certificate she is holding. She still wanted to join this summer but she just doesn't have time at all, her schedule for this summer is so hectic.

Here she was, ready to receive her kiddie scout certificate from Mr. Jabie Jollibee. My apology for the blurry picture, I was just using my cell phone at that time. I totally forgot my Digicam at home on our way to the venue. I know I needed some vitamins for loss memory gap.

It might just do the job for him

Terry has a treadmill that he does not use. It is used to hang coats on and not for exercising. He tells me he needs something that is a bit more of a challenge than just walking or jogging on a treadmill.

Of the various pieces of exercise equipments I have looked at, ellipticals might just do the job for him. He tell me he likes the bicycle type exercise machines, but I think he should get off his butt and try something a bit more challenging and something that will help him burn more calories.

Here we are again writing about losing weight. As I continue to look at various products and aids to losing weight, some seem like they are very good. From fat burners to exercise equipment and medical procedures, all are meant to help a person lose weight.

Lipofuze is another product I cam across, but I rally don’t like to take pills. Anyway as I have said before you have to know what you put in your body and if you have any questions about taking a supplement ask your doctor.

Back For Good

My youngest daughter flipped the antennae of my phone so hard, it was the antennae for the TV but in some way, the signal is not picking it up right. I am having a hard time listening to the other line especially when my husband calls me, so I have my very old Nokia repaired; the area where you put your sim into is not holding it right so we have to replace it. Good thing, after it was replaced, it holds the sim at all although it hangs sometimes but it's doing alright now.

Mj was able to put it together tonight but it won't flip to get a signal, she is using it now. I hope no other damage could be done with that phone. For now I am back with my old sentimental Nokia cellphone.

Taking Diet Supplements

One of the things I blog most about here is weight loss and the various products out there. I am always curious because I know that Terry and I both could shed a few pounds. One type of product is fat burner diet pills. Do you really lose unwanted fat or do you lose water or muscle tissue with them? I don’t really like to take supplements but if one is safe and I check with my doctor first, maybe I can try one.

I am also having a thought to enroll for swimming, they said if you know the basic of swimming, you would get rid of the unwanted fats especially if you always go to the pool. Maybe if Mj know already how to swim she could tutor me, in that way I would save some bucks for the enrollment fee, for her it will be just free.

I hope he will be alright

It has been two days now that I have to wake up as early as 5:00 a.m., so to prepare Mj's breakfast not to mention there are foods she must not eat before the swimming lessons. Well, that is advantage for me because I don't have to prepare one of her favorites and that is a hamburger, they were advised not to eat those, they are not allowed to eat junk foods, hotdogs, or too much meat as well. Spaghetti is okay and a banana every morning, especially vegetable and fish. Peanut butter is a no no also but jelly can be good for them.

We were late this morning and Mj has been reprimanded not to be late again otherwise she will be given a disciplinary action. When her coach instructed them to do the frog swim, Mj was not able to follow it at first but later on her coach said she was good. Her cousin cried when it was their turn because he had a leg cramp, so I told his instructor to let him rest for a while but when he was already beside me, he told me he would like to change and maybe slip the training for this day. I didn't push him through but I told him not to stop because besides it would help him to become healthy, the enrollment fee is not refundable so whether he likes it or not he should continue the training. I hope his experience today won't give him a thought to quit.

He is so different compared to Mj; she is more determined and could easily get acquainted while he is shy and just contented to be just in the corner. I know he was bored already waiting for Mj to finish, but he just didn't tell me. He could open himself to my daughter though and Mj will just relay to me what he wants, well I hope he is okay with the training tomorrow, Mj would be very happy if he does.

Healthy is Wealthy

To be healthy is wealthy, so when I need to go to a doctor, I would go without any hesitation. I am blessed because my husband has been very supportive from the first vaccinations in protection from cervical cancer down the third and last shot. He also has been telling me to take my calcium vitamins and my multi-vitamins, I had been advised to take calcium vitamins since am lacking with it. Well I don't drink much milk so that explains everything.

I hope I don't have to take colon cleanse supplement also but if I need to, I don't have a choice. I hate it when you have these things needed to take and you forget all about it. Just like the other day and the other week, it always slipped in my mind. Is there any vitamin that helps you to remember things? Because I think I need it very badly.

First Slot

I bet I would be very busy this week and the coming week, since today is the start of my eldest daughter swimming lessons. We have to sleep so early at night so we could catch up with her schedule at 7:00 a.m., since she hit the first slot. They were having an evaluation this morning as to what time would she belong, she knows bubbles and floating so they put her to the fast learning slot.

She is so aggressive in learning how to swim and I hope she could cross the 6 feet deep so she could get a certificate for the basics, I am still thinking about enrolling her to advance swimming. Well if she is still interested to learn more, maybe. I don't know how to swim so I am so excited for her, way to go MJ!

Post Graduate

Well, I haven't done anything today, except cooking for the kids. I was not even able to go to church because it was raining so hard when I woke up from my afternoon nap, grrr I should have went to church at 12:00 n.n., but how could I? The kids were still sleeping until 11:30 a.m., and then had their lunch after I finished cooking the shrimp’s sauté in the butter.

Since I can't think of anything right to post here, maybe it would be better if I wrote about the movie we just watch in DVD. First was the Post Graduate of Alexis Bledel, she was one of the stars of Gilmore Girls, gosh time flies so fast because she was just the teeny goody in that series and with the Post Graduate she had grown so much! Well, she is already I guess 21 years old as she portrayed in the movie.

Ryden Malby (Bledel) has planned her life to have a successful career when she graduated in college, she would like to be an assistant editor in a prominent publishing company Happerman and Browning, she knew she could be hired but unfortunately, the valedictorian of their school who is so arrogant got it so she went home to her father who is so optimistic and wanted to do things on his own. Although she was jobless, her friend support Adam never faded; Adam got a crush on her and was so disappointed when he found out that Ryden had an affair with their neighbor. Adam decided to go to New York for law school and Ryden realized that Adam is more than a best friend to her. Even she was called to report in Happerman and Browning because Jessica was fired due to being so proud and feels like as if she ran the company, Ryden has doubts whether to continue her career in that company or go to her friend Adam in New York.

I'll be posting the Barbie the Mermaid Tale and the Band slam synopsis the next day. Goodnight folks and sleep well and oh I have to say good morning to some parts of the world.

Mommy Moments : Yellow!

When I was pregnant with Faith, I wanted to have a Tweetie bird pillow and since my workmates sell one of those pillows, I immediately bought it. One time it was lost, someone had used it when I was out. I was really freaked out, I didn't log in to my station until it was found. My friends were looking so hard for it otherwise I will not logged in not to mention that the calls were so queue at that time and they need agents to attain those calls, good thing they found it.

Happy as a Bee

Right after I am done with my cervix cancer shots last year, my ob-gyne told me I still have to undergo Pap smear. Don't get me wrong I am absolutely fine, I am healthy. It is just we have a history of having cervix cancer, my Aunt and my Grandma had it and that caused of their death. They said it sometimes attributed by genes and the food we ate, our lifestyle as well so I said it is better to have a protection for ourselves so we would have a long life with our kids and love ones. I already had trauma when my parents were gone; I was not prepared when they said goodbye and I can't do that to my kids, not until they are ready to face the world on their own.

Like my father I also have my share of fears of going to the doctor for check ups, he doesn't want to know what is the status of his health before so he never gone for check up, we never knew he already had a heart failure. He just kept it to himself, he just allowed us to admit him to the hospital when he could not breathe at all. It was so sad and it was so sudden, he died after I guess two weeks. But with Terry's encouragement, my fears were gone. He always told me that prevention is better than cure, his words inspired me a lot to have my check up, and my kids who cheers me up aspired me to have a healthy living.

So I have my calendar mark for my check up next week and I am happy as a bee.

12 year old bride

How would you react of a 12 year old girl to be a bride to a 24 years old groom? I am sure you would be shocked and terrified by it. How about if the girl died because of sex organs rupture? Would you just be sitting in the corner and won't do anything because the country that you live allowed such thing.

I was horrified when I heard the news last Saturday, I mean 12 years old girl doesn't know anything about marriage; her being innocent was stolen away from her that instant. She could have live long years yet and enjoyed her youth if she has not been forced to get married.

Pretty Cool Jackets

Terry does not follow NASCAR but he has friends who do. He tells me that some of the Nascar jacket is pretty cool. While at work, his coworkers talk about it on Monday after each race but he does not see much of it since in a bunch of cars making left hand turns while traveling at high speed, you would think it was a bunch of crazy Davao Jeepney drivers the way they bump each other.

I hope the incident last Sunday won’t happen to us again because until now I am still terrified just to think about it. Life is so precious and because of some crazy drivers here in our place, hitting the road like they are kings and knight, our life could be just taken out that easy.

Power Outage in the Establishments

I just wonder why we still have power outage when it is always raining here already. I just hope that this coming election, there will be no power outage would occur or else we will all be in danger. So since there is a power outage when I went to get the money that my husband wired today, I have to wait for 30 minutes to receive it finally. When I went to the bank, the line was so queue that I have to wait for another 30 minutes. Now when we were about to go down to pay my water bill, I was so surprised of the many people waiting for their turn to pay at the cashier. The line was reach up to the exit door, meaning if I would insist myself with the queue, I have to wait for three hours. So you see it is really so crowded and it was because of the rotating power outage here.

I decided not to go down instead we went directly to our dentist. Mj's damaged tooth have to be taken out immediately, since there will be another tooth, that would come out very soon. Thank God that the dentist still let us come in, even though she was about to close her clinic because it was already 5:00 p.m., sharp. After the dentist appointment, we bought an ice cream right away so her gums will stop bleeding, then we headed to the agency where we have applied a Philippine passport for her. Lastly we went to the mall to purchase an umbrella for me and grocery shop.

Side Swept

The kids and I were riding in a cab and talking in the back seat. When the cab was struck on the side by a jeep, the driver had tried to avoid the jeepney by moving out of its way but the jeepney just kept on coming and struck the side of the cab. It was all so sudden, I screamed while the kids were not able to talk anymore. The driver stopped the cab and checked us, thank GOD we were okay, he went out and sure he found a scratch on the door. The jeepney did not even bother to stop but whoever the driver was; I will just say blessed him. I hope he drives more carefully so no one would be hurt.

Faith could no longer talk and was just so quiet in my side, Mj was trembling and my niece was talking to the driver. I was still shocked and nervous when my husband called me on the phone, the incident reminds me of the accident that happened last year, the driver drove so fast and trying to overtake, not knowing there was a truck coming on his way. The impact was so hard that killed almost of the passengers including a pregnant woman.

Saturday 9: Have I Told You Lately That I Love You

1. When was the last time (in a romantic setting) you have told someone that you loved them? We were in a hotel van going to where my husband would stay, and he gave me our engagement ring and asked will you marry me.

2. Tell us about your very first romantic kiss. After he gave me our engagement ring, we had a very long romantic kiss, lol we did not care the driver of the van at all.

3. What was/is your idea of the perfect date? A candle light dinner, then as we are sitting fronting each other, we could also hear a violin musician playing his best composition for us.

5. What is the most amazing experience you’ve ever shared with a partner? Our "I do" on our wedding

6. Sex is best saved for: love, marriage, alcohol, days that end in “y”? Love, marriage and yeah ok days that end in y. Lol

8. What's missing from your life? Right now? Having my husband beside me here forever, but we are hoping it would happen very very soon.

During those times that you have nothing

Mommy Moments : Shoes

Well, I don't buy them a lot of shoes; I just bought when it’s needed. In that way, it would prevent them by buying stuff then later, they would just set it aside because they have a new one. So for now they only have two pairs of shoes and those shoes they would wear most of the time.

Hidden in a Box

How I wish my two nieces still used the MP3 players I gave them last Christmas because I have never seen them listening music to it anymore, unlike when it was still new, every day they would bug me to charge it in my lap top so they could use it but now it seems it was just hidden in a treasure box. I know that they just hide so it will not be damage immediately but I rather see it was damage because they have used it everyday than just store it in a box.

On the other hand, Mj has been asking me to buy her a phone with MP 3 out of the money she saved in the piggy bank, but after we broke it, we found out that it was not enough for a cell phone so I decided to just put it in my savings account and if I already have a money that I would add to buy that cell phone, then I would withdraw it. Maybe when the school starts on June since I think she really need it especially when she has to message me about school stuff or the car pool can't fetch her because of some trouble along the way.

Can't Stop Eating

I promised myself not to eat anything after 6:00 p.m., but I just can't help myself but to eat dinner so I was thought to just minimize it. I was successful for like two days but my gosh, when I cooked some prawns with a butter in it tonight, I just can't stop eating!

Now I have to double my effort again to at least get rid some of the fats I gained tonight, as I really looked so big when I was in the mirror. My husband always tells me to walk long hours sometimes but I got too lazy. I know I need to lose weight but when I start cooking our dishes; I don't seem to care of my weight anymore. How I wish to have the motivation to go back to the gym.

Mango Park Hotel

When we went to Cebu last month for some errands to do, Claire scanned a hotel for us to stay near at the place where our appointment had set. It was so affordable yet it is a nice place to stay and unwind, their pool is at the roof top so you really could view the city of Cebu.

If you would go to St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation where you would go for CFO seminar, and you are from the province or from the other city, it is better to stay at Mango Park Hotel since they are just nearby, from the hotel you just turn left, then you would cross one street and that's it. I tell you it is only a one block away.

Ressurected

I guess the title is suit for this blog since I had been on hiatus for how many days now, and mind you all my blogs has not been updated and I feel like it has been an ages since I tried to at least write something. I was just not feeling alright lately and I always thank my husband to understand me, I guess he did his best to understand me and I guess no other man can ever be patient with me like my husband does always for me.

And here I am felt so loved and cared and pampered though I know, there will be more trials and misunderstanding would come along our way but I am sure we are already strong enough to defeat and settle the issue as long as there's me and him nothing could go wrong.
