Mommy Moments : A Song From A Mom's Heart

I should have been getting ready for I have to go out any minute now, not to mention I still have to fetch Mj from school this afternoon for her Kumon, but here I am still in front of the computer writing a post about today's theme for Mommy Moments. Well, this would not take me that long though because I have one compilation in you tube when I sang a song for my Faith. Actually this song has been my lullabye even to my eldest daughter when she was still a baby.



And I guess in the next video, Faith sang for herself a lullabye while I was dancing for her to sleep.

Pictures From Manila

I just would like to show some picture when we went to Manila last Sunday, we went home on Tuesday but although we only spend there two days, we still had a blast. We keep coming back to Robinsons; I didn’t expect that they have the bigger space than of Robinsons Cebu.

The hotel that we rented was just nearby so we always visit there when we want to unwind. I also bought some pasalubong for my kids, Mj got a dress and Faith had tops and pajamas and pants for her to pair it on her new top bought by her Ninang Flor.

Having the proper auto insurance is a must. Being under insured is almost as bad as over paying for you auto insurance. Today’s auto insurers make a lot of claims however, to get the right insurance at the right price you need a good auto insurance quote. In that way you can save more money and get the right insurance to meet, I believe people are not getting of any cheap insurance, in today’s struggling economy everything must be in proper and that we have to be sure of what were getting into. We just cannot waste our money over with some lousy and not reliable insurance.

If I would have my own car of course before I could used it, I’ll be searching for only the best for my car but before that I must know how to drive, geez I remember it’s one of my agenda this year but I just forgot all about it because I got so busy from January until maybe on the next two months.

A Lonely Picture

I just arrived from Manila last night, I have to pick up some documents from the Embassy and Clarinda had an appointment for the CRBA and a US passport of her son. The plane that took us going there was so huge, I never had experience riding in a plane that big, I was so amazed with the map in front of us, it shows where we are and how many kilometers were we from our destination. Don't get me wrong, I'd been in a plane before but I haven't experience riding in big planes, lol.

Anyway, we arrived around 7:00 p.m., and as of the moment yet let me just share to you a picture, the only picture I took when we arrived in the hotel.

Yes, that was the only pictures I just took, it supposedly a variety of fireworks but when the moment I took the camera out from my bag, I was too late as it was the last one sigh!

Modern Gadgets

Did you ever wonder what some of the devices the doctor uses when you go for an appointment or check up? Do you know what they call that little thing they will put on your finger is called that will show a couple of numbers? It’s an oximeter and what it does is measure the oxygen saturation in your blood. They can also measure your pulse. I never knew what those things are called and what they were really for but I do know.

Sometimes there were modern gadgets that I am so not familiar but well life must revolve for the better just like the news I also heard two days ago, manual thermometer might be out in the market at all as they are requiring a digital thermometer in all hospitals. They said the result of the digital thermometer is more accurate and it’s more dependable than of that old fashion thermometer. Well I hope these gadgets like the one that measures your pulse and the digital thermometer would really make a big help for all of us.

Values Project : A Love Story

My eldest daughter has been asking our love story, she said it is a project for her Values subject, I was hesitant at first because I don’t think it still relevant with the subject, I mean what does the Values have to do with a love story? Lol, well anyway as long as they would get other extra points for submitting that project, I'll be okay with it, definitely.

But I just forgot all about it and I just remembered it when Mj reminded me Friday night that she was not able to pass our love story but the teacher gave her extra time, she could pass it on Tuesday. I was just wondering why the teacher had to really address MJ, asking her where is her project while most of the class was not able to pass, it was not only her. Uhmm I smell something fishy here.

Anyway, well a project is a project so whatever the purpose is, we will make one and submit it. No, I already made one yesterday and Mj put some decorations for it last night. She will submit it on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday, no class again.

A Person Like You

I sometimes don’t get it why other people keep on pulling you down? Can’t they respect you as a person? And why some other people just believe of what others are telling about? Don’t they have their own thoughts and observation if the person you are talking to is not true to you?

But anyway it’s not your lost if you have been faithful, it’s their lost. As long as you are true to yourself and never been taking advantage of anyone around you, I know you could find true love along the way, it may be not now but who knows in the future, you could find someone better than of that person. Just keep on praying and you will be okay, I know GOD will never forsake you, he never forsake a person like you.

Mommy Moments : Valentines Day

Since its still the love theme is kicking on this month, let me share to you our pictures from previous Valentines Day as I believe I haven’t shown it yet on Mommy Moments.

Life is indeed is revolving so fast, one snap of our finger everything would change, the kids are growing so fast, it seems like it was just yesterday that Faith has a bald hair and no teeth, these pictures really made me smile. It saddened me though that my husband was not able to witness all her improvements and adventures.




We went out the whole day last year because we have to go to Faith’s pedia for her booster, then after that as usual we watched a movie, then we grocery shopped then lastly we ate our dinner. It was such a long day, good thing was that sister Merlyn was there to hold Faith, Mj and Mariel was there also. So everything would be so easy to handle, unlike the recent Valentines Day, well I intended to celebrate it with them alone though as I thought it would be a great bonding together. Mind you, I was so exhausted as Faith is hand full right now because she keeps on exploring all the things around, running back and forth and all that yet I had fun and I had Mj as well, she successfully assists me with all things.

Goofing Around

As promised here were some of our pictures when Mj just went home from the party beside our house, we were already alone at that time since Sister Merlyn went home at all. Although we did not have a company, we still were able to find some time to goof around. Faith keeps on saying “Mama, smile picture” and then she would pose herself in front of the camera, Mj keeps on posing as well with her new artistic paint.

You see, even you are not in a crowded room or you might be in a place where nobody is around, you could still find some happiness there, especially with someone you love.

More Like Bunch Of Rocks

Did you ever see somebody who was so bulked up with muscle it made them look more like bunch of rocks than a human being? Having a nice toned body is one thing but being so bulked up you can barely move is something else again.

Eating Time During Her Birthday

Here is the video during Faith’s birthday celebration, you see everyone were so busy taking their foods. Well actually I guess they were all hungry because they have waited yet for us to cook all the foods, not us though but Kuya James. I remember during my Wedding when the guests had to wait for the program to start in the reception, we had a chocolate fountain and some apples, biscuits, and marshmallows for the visitors to at least dip it in there so to fill in their empty stomach.

But since our money was so tight that day for we just had moved in, some pica pica would out of track us anymore. Anyway, I was glad that someone was able to take a video during her birthday since I was really so busy at that time.

After The Delivery

Yes, I had a hemorrhoid right after I gave birth to MJ, it stayed for a while though and I was really looking so hard for an effective treatment of hemorrhoids but no one was able to recommend me such maybe because as my aunt said, it was just normal for a mother who just gave birth to have it. She even told me it would disappear eventually.

But not with my friend case because she still has it for years until she decided to have an operation to remove it. It was not an easy process for her because there were speculations around that one you had it and was under operation, it would still go back. I am not sure if it’s true but really if she knew that there was a solution or a cream perhaps for it, she might just tried that one than spending money for an operation.

Big Butt

I and the kids celebrated our Valentines Day together in the mall; we watched a movie entitled The Princess and The Frog after the church then we headed to eat our meal at Jollibee.

Faith loves Jollibee so much; most of the time she would request me to eat at Jollibee together. She is always delighted with the image. Here are some of their pictures with Jollibee in the mall.

Cignal Digital TV Installed

My husband got us a cable for us to have more channels in our TV and since the sky cable, the most known cable company here in the city is not available in the area, I looked for an alternative one anyway I am not right after tons of channels as long as there is a cartoon network or Disney channel that could help my baby settle down, I am definitely okay with that.

The other night, right after the Kumon of my eldest daughter, we went to the mall to apply the cignal digital TV, they are installing a dish to get a signal and so the reason why they are accessible to our area, it only has 21 channels and they have the high definition box. Yesterday after like 5 hours of installing the dish and figuring out where they could locate a signal for my HD, they successfully got it. Lol I even slept for a while until they finally figured it out.

When Would She Be Still?

I noticed something to my little one here; she just kept on talking so loud and kept on running back and forth. I am worried though because she might fall down and hit her face on the floor just like what happen the other night, when her and Mj were playing in the bedroom and she was trying to hide inside the blanket, she lose control and she hit her lip on the floor. It bleeds and she cried out so loud but after that incident she was back to being so active and was jumping so hard again.

Last night, she nearly got an accident again when she tried to turn the light off, she knew that whenever she switched it off, I would get mad so when I caught her doing that, she giggled and jumped in the couch and she fell down and she almost hit her head off in the floor, good thing I was able to catch her in my bare hands. She cried a bit maybe because she was frightened, I hope she would be still the whole day, I need some Barney or blue clues in the TV so she would behave at least for a while, waaaahh!!!

Does It Have To Do With The Mirror?

I bought a new closet with a mirror, I am not sure if it has to do with the position of the cabinet but whenever I looked myself in that mirror, I saw many rashes in my face, it is even more like a blister and geez I think I got more wrinkles as well, my oh my I must buy some anti aging products for me to get rid of my wrinkles. Though I am still not sure what would I do with my allergies, maybe because I was so stressed these past few days about certain things? Or maybe it really has to do with the mirror, Is it really telling the truth? Hehehe

I hope I could rest one day and just watched the Roswell series the whole day, I can’t wait for that day though but right now I have to get up my butt to start my day right, we have to go out again for Mj’s tutor at the Kumon.

Mommy Moments : Message of Love

My eldest daughter woke up so early this morning because she had to attend a love trip at her school. And since I was running out of time to cook for her food to bring at school to share it with the government agency they would visit today, I just decided to order it in Garidos, it is where we always order foods when we don’t feel like cooking, it is free delivery and that we just have to pay it in the house when it arrives.

While Mj was busy preparing her stuff, I fried her some hotdogs for breakfast, she would also bring some for her lunch at school. The carpool arrives when I was about to open my computer to read emails and to chat with hubby, I was surprised when he sent me this beautiful card online and the message just makes my heart melt. I thought it was already Valentines Day hehehe but yeah, it is not.

He told me he also sends some cards for the two kids and have the kids read it, but duh can’t find it yet, I wonder why?

Her First Communion

Mj just had her first communion last week; of course she was so excited about it. The priest delivered a very beautiful and meaningful testimony about the parents and the kids, it touched my heart as my tears began to well up that I have to close my eyes so it won't pursue. I guess all parents inside the church, are all so proud of their kids, at long last they were able to have the chance to taste the sacred food as they may say, and gosh few years from now they are all grown up, have their future and got family as well.

Well, we successfully moved out and I am supposed to relax right now but geez I can't because its my youngest birthday today. I have to go out very early to grocery shop for the ingredients my brother in law will cooked later. Good thing I set up the party at dinner so I have ample time to prepare.

On the other hand, sister Merlyn just arrived to watch after Faith, I must go now so I can catch up with the time and can cook for the party tonight, bye for now everyone!

Smart Bro Please Let Us Connect

Our area had an issue for not receiving a signal from smart bro as some areas here are dead spot. I have an Internet connection in this house under my name but I am turning it over to my sister since her husband needs it in his work at night, it is a home base job and it is his source of income. Now I am the one who’s having problem with connection especially the smart bro is not allowing a 30 feet antennae anymore.

Tomorrow is the schedule of the smart bro to install the connection; how I wish they could successfully get a signal in 20 feet antennae otherwise I am dead lol

I'll Be Making A Little Garden

Waste disposal is becoming more and more of a problem. Lots of us do our best to recycle glass and plastic products and even have compost heaps for organic matter.

But compost heaps if not done properly can be smelly and is not much fun to turn and mix it. A compost tumbler would solve the missing problem. Compost enriches your soil and make your home garden one to be envied. I surely going to do it with in the new house since I have plan to make a little home garden there just like my sister has here in this house.

Her First Communion

We had such a long day today, I and Mj had to wake up so early for her first communion. Though we were in a hurry I was still able to chat with my husband for few minutes since Mj was so slow taking her bath to finish, maybe she memorized her confession at church later.

When we arrived at the church with our neighbor, the staff started already to give out the veil and corsage. Then the confession began, lastly the mass.

I will be posting her pictures tomorrow if I have enough time or some other day. I hope to get the connection fast so I could visit your blog, chatting with hubby and writing the tasks. As of now I have to say goodnight everyone.

Furnitures For The New Home

As most of my regular readers know, I will be moving into a rental house soon. I am excited to do so, but it is driving me a bit crazy because I really did not understand how many things I needed at first.

I know one thing I really want and that is a comfy contemporary sofas. I want to be able to sit on it or lay on it for a nap or just to watch TV. I hope I don’t leave anything out when I move into the new place. But, I know there will be something I missed and MJ and Faith will certainly let me know.
