The Busiest Time This Week

I got the busiest time this week the reason why I was not able to update and blog hop this past few days.

Friday - was the first visit of Mj to Kumon, she was so excited about it but a little bit tense when she was already inside the building, obviously because she felt anew to the place and she doesn’t know everyone there.

Saturday - Mj has to practice their play to be shown on December 22 at CAP Auditorium, the practice was over two hours so we were not able to attend her Tutorial at Kumon, we will just make it up next Friday. Right after the practice, we fetched Faith at home to come with us in the mall, we have to buy her a potty training so she would learn to pooh in the bowl, then we fetch their cousin Dodong, Terry and I agreed to buy him new stuff on his birthday. After the chasing of Faith and choosing stuff for the kids, we went home drained and tired.

Sunday - was the birthday of my nephew Yanyan, his parents asked me to buy him a cake for his day as a gift. We still had a long day today, my relatives and the friends of my sister and brother-in-law came, some kids go running back and forth to our small and humble home, Faith had a fun playing with the kids.

We slept too late last night and oh well Faith also since her cousin cried out loud when she was fast asleep, so I have to attain her in a minute.

An Honest Feedback

I know I need to lose some pound, but, losing weight is not always easy. Chasing Faith and taking care of MJ really does not give me enough exercise. There are a lot of supplements on the market and choosing one that will get the results you want is not easy.

PBB Weekly Task

Every night, even if I am busy typing my entries in my blog, I would always stop doing it or whatever I am busy with as long as the PBB is on in the TV, I would go running towards our living room to watch the very excitement and the most thrilling, kilig to the bones program of the year.

So as you read it in my previous post, I always love the girls in the House A, and now since they were swapped from the girls in House B and I was distracted by this shocking news, as I also love the boys from the previous house, sad to say I should stick with the girls, my heart cried out since I love the previous team but well that's life, so I must leave the boys in House A for this moment.

Classy And Quality

Of all the sinks I really love to watch when I was still working as a merchandiser in one of the hardware store here in our area was the American Standard sinks, why? Because all their sinks are so nice and so classy, not to mention that they have the most dependable quality, if I would have to put a big and spacious house of my own, I might choose American standard all the way from the sinks, toilet bowl and faucets.

Waaahhh, this reminded me of the toilet bowl in the hotel where we stayed for our wedding, right after the reception we found out that the bowl was broke and we paid for about 8,000 bucks for that toilet bowl so we are clear when we check out, gross! If only they put the American Standard brand for their bathroom fixtures, it might have been not damaged.

So Stress

... not with too much busy doing house chores here but with the news around, first was what happen to South Mindanao, as I was stopped to wrote something for it so I looked for a video which could inspire me to write a happy thoughts but what struck me is a video of a baby who was bitten, raped, slammed by her own father, uncle and her mom.

I am even so stressed right now while watching it, since it was stated as the worst case of abusing a baby in the whole world. Her parents must be burn alive, or bitten while naked so they will feel the pain that the baby has. Why in the world these things happen? Why do they have to kill innocent people? Poor Brianna, she didn't even have the chance to see the beauty of the world.

Who Knows?

I always dreamed of having my own car but with my disposition and our expenses right now, buying my own car must set aside. I need to work yet so I could afford to buy my dream Ferrari car, I know Terry would shop one for me when we are together but I am not sure if he would buy me my dream car with a complete set of Ferrari parts so if I need to replace some parts of it, I don't have to go to a shop to buy for it. Well, then I have to study for auto mechanic first so I will repair the car myself if I have the necessary parts already.

Weee, it is so nice to dream, well I guess there is nothing wrong with that since it is free, so why not dream of things which seem to be impossible for you, right? Who knows, tomorrow you would win a lotto and you can buy the things that you have just dream of.

Mommy Moments : Chore Time

Ever since I was a kid I was already taught to do house chores, especially when I was in my fourth grade, when I was sent to my uncle place right after my dad's burial. My uncle has a store and I was task to wake up early as 4:00 a.m., to clean all the bottles for cooking oil and refill it with a new one and that is always, before we go to school.

Now, I am teaching Mj to do some house chores here at home when she is not so busy, she complains sometimes especially when she is the only one who does the cleaning but once she notice that I am working too, she would do it by herself.

Sad to say, the only picture I took while Mj was cleaning our cabinet is nowhere to be found, so I might just show you the video of Faith who tried her best to clean the floor, she was just one year and one month at that time.

I Am Wishing For A New Cellphone This Christmas

My husband bought my old cell phone two years ago, I was surprised because I never expected he would shopped me one since she already gave me enough during his first visit here in our place. But my old cell phone is beginning to give up already, it does not look good at all and Faith sometimes hit it in the floor, don't get me wrong I love my old cell phone because all the baby pictures since she was born stored in that gadget that's why I have no plans to get it rid off, maybe just maybe if I will have enough money this coming Christmas, I would buy another cell phone.

I saw a store that sells a not so expensive cell phones and it is not even an imitation, neither is it a second hand type, and how I wish to buy one for me this holiday season. I dreamed of a blackberry phones but that could wait, what I want now is a not so behind models and affordable one's. Well, anyway I am not a brand conscious type of person so whatever that store for me as long as I could use the phone, I don't have any problem with it.

I Felt Pity For Rica

Rica is among the fighter in House A at PBB House, she is the cleverest among the group and she could think immediately what to do with their task. But the thing is there are people sometimes who doesn't like to mingle with her and will try to avoid her because of her personality, I heard all guy's housemates from house B whispered that they felt awkward now because they heard a she/male voice already.

The girls from the house A were being swapped from the girls of house B and that includes Rica from House A, I felt so distressed with what is happening in the house because both parties are adjusting and Rica felt that she is more welcome in the guys from House A. The guys from House B are making a diversion from the girls in House B, now how could they complete the task when they are not cooperating.

Rica has feelings too, she could feel when a person doesn't like to be near her, we should sometimes see beyond her personality, we should not judge her because she is a gay, we should try to look what she can do and not what she is. Treating her cold is not always the best way to know her, Rica is a good person how I wish they could see that.

If I would be the one to choose, I always like the friendship in House A where Rica, Melissa, Cathy, Carol, Paul Jake, Yohan, Tibo, and Jason stayed because you could tell the way they treated the person, whoever he/she is. I know Kuya is trying to measure them as a person of how they mingle towards the people from the other house but I wish Kuya will swapped back the girls in the House A so I could see Melissa and Jason together again.

Ouch! She Got Her Finger Burn

I and Faith went out to pay supposedly the enrollment of Mj in Kumon, but it was so sad because when we arrived there, it was closed, grrrr I did not check the schedule if they are open today. So we went to the nearest mall instead to eat our lunch, when I was too busy putting her to the high chair I requested, she tried to reach the food that was just served and so hot near her, she quickly took her hand back and said "Mama, hot" right after that she wanted me to hold her hand always, when I checked her forefinger, it swollen.

She told the waiters and the cashier when we passed by to their counter on our way out, the lady asked what was she talking about, I told her about the incident and I asked if they had a toothpaste so to subside the pain on the area where she got burn, but too sad because they didn't have, I wonder if they are brushing their teeth at the workplace after their meal, uhmmm what do you think?

I Have New Sandals

I got new sandals from Ate Peng, one is a close shoe and the other one is a ridge type shoes, she also gave me a nice top, that I even wore it the entire day. I thought I could not post any PB weekend pictures by tomorrow but the shoes reminded me of the Meme that I took one picture of it right away.

Excitement is what I feel today because I would definitely wear the sandals by tomorrow since I would enroll Mj for advance learning in Math and oh by the way, I think she is now fully adjust with her new school, I have seen improvements through her scores in quizzes, she is really striving hard. The head of the tutorial services I sent her to even told me that she is really trying her best to learn and she is so discipline when it comes to her tutorial, that's what I am proud about her because she never say she cannot do it, or just quit all about it, I just sometimes lose patience when I am teaching her, well that is the main reason why I did not take the teacher's course.

Yes, maybe she is not that fast leaner but I know she is smart enough to dwell whatever the circumstances are and she never say never, with her character of being independent from the day she learned how to walk and her confident that she could do it, I know she had a good future store for her.

No Reason

Frequently in my blogs you have seen me write about losing weight and exercise. Well the kettlebell is another body shaping tool that is out there and it is different than most of the others I have seen.

Will Take Exam Now

I am so busy, I don't even so much time to update some of my blogs except this blog since there was an opportunity offered to me, we are now getting ready for Mj to take the diagnostics for Kumon an advance tutorial for Math and Reading, I opted to enroll her the reading since she have difficulty of understanding what she read but the teacher told me that it would be better if we go for her interest to enhance her ability.

So Math, that is we will go for Math, I was not interested in Math when I was still studying and I don't have intention to learn it until now, so I guess it would be better if I would train Mj to what she want to learn more, so folks gotta get going!

Dream On

Terry and I would like to lose weight. I know he feels overweight and so do I. With two very active kids, I am so involved with helping MJ with school and Faith is still a toddler, I really don’t have a lot of time for exercising on a routine basis.

Fat burners are another option for us. Taking fat burners as a supplement and getting what exercise we can will help us lose these unwanted pounds. So when you are busy and you don’t have much time to go to the gym, why not take the other option? This is my time to shine again; my dream to have my figure back would be on its way.

Student : Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat,

But we don't have anything called Cold.
We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as Cold.

Professor : If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?
(The Class broke out into Laughter )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . .
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol,
Science says that You have No Brain, sir.

It Is Better To Buy The Expensive One

When I was still working in a night shift as a customer representative in a call center company, some of my workmate would smoke during break time outside the office just not to feel drowsy. I have noticed a friend in the office that every time she would buy cigars at the canteen, she would choose the imported and branded packs.

I asked her if she felt like she was wasting money for a single pack, since the imported one is a bit costly. I was awed by her answer because she said it is better to buy the expensive cigars since she knows that she would die quickly because of smoking, we both laugh when a workmate behind us exclaimed that she answered it right.

Well, I hope it will not happen to her so soon, she is still too young to say goodbye to life.

Mommy Moments : Yummy

Every time we are out of the house, I always treat the kids out. And they always enjoyed it especially Mj she likes to eat the spaghetti or chicken joy in Jollibee, Mc Donald’s, KFC or Greenwich.

The pictures above were taken on Valentine's Day this year, we dropped by at their Pedia for Faith's immunization then we headed to Greenwich for lunch. My girls are both picky when it comes to food, if Mj doesn't like the food, she would try to eat her meal so slow that I would be freak out because she would be late to school, Faith on the other hand would attempt to throw it up or would ask for more water so she could swallow the food quickly.

Anyhow let me say sorry if I have posted the meme a little bit late, I was just so busy this day I was not able to post any topic for today's theme, not to mention that it’s raining here and it's so nice to just hit the bed off the whole afternoon.

The Day Before My Wedding

It was so odd that the day before my wedding, prickles and acne's showed up in my face. I was so worried about and hope that I went to a dermatologist for me to get an acne treatment available, but it was too late since we were already busy at that time.

Good thing that my make up artist was able to cover the prickles with a heavy foundation, so it was not that visible. I guess it was due to stress and some pressures because something just happen before the wedding and it gets worst during the preparations. I didn't know it would cause by someone I truly trusted to make my wedding just great by her presence, well I guess that's life, sometimes you cannot please everyone.

So Mad At Her

We already agreed that we will have a short review this morning and she should be faster to take a bath and eat her breakfast but she was so slow this morning from waking up until she took her meal, and I noticed that when I told her that we will going to have a review tomorrow morning, she would really be dragging.

Thus, she really needs to practice on how to get the area and perimeter and to analyze the question had given I have to spread all the materials that I prepared last night, in the contrary, just when she started to answer the question, her carpool already. I was so mad and so upset.

I arrived from my friend's birthday a couple of hours ago but I was not able to log in since I have to review Mj for her math, her tutor already tackle about how to get the perimeter, area, length, breadth of a rectangle, or triangle, or the square, yet I am still checking if she already got the formula.

We finished the review until 11 p.m., and I am planning to review with her again tomorrow morning, I also have to attend the Kumon orientation at around 9:45 a.m., so folks as I really want to visit you tonight I just can't as I need to wake up and prepare things for tomorrow, goodnight everyone!

Low Bat

It was just last night when I figure out what Faith was trying to say few days ago every time she hold my cellphone she would say, libat, libot something like that. Well, last night was a bit clear because when my niece gave her, her cell phone thence she cried out loud and said low bat!

Mj and her had fun playing with my cellphone, they listened to some songs or humming with it but Mariel took my phone from them because she had set the alarm clock on the next morning and if they keep on playing music with my phone, it would drain immediately and the alarm will not work. Faith cried out so loud, insisting to have the phone back that my niece handed her, her cellphone that is already out of battery, we didn't know Faith will figure that one out, she returned the phone back to Mariel and said it is low bat.

We were wondering where and how and why did she knew about it, I was speechless I am just a one proud Mama.

I Need To Have Both

I was so full last night enough for me to regret why did I ate dinner, I planned to go to the gym last week but I did not pursue it since I got tired and lazy that I don't even want to go outside of the house. But yes I want to lose weight and get rid of my fats, I want to have a slender and a Solo Slim body, but how could I get that while I am not exerting more effort to take pills or go out and walk like how many blocks away.

Furthermore, I also need to motivate myself to take my vitamins for bones as I am getting near to being risk for osteoporosis. I had this check up the other month, and the result was I need to take more calcium because my bones are not that strong anymore if I don't want to become a smallest person when I get old I should take those pills. Slim and be healthy, how I wish I could have both.

Say Thanks For The Little Blessing

This is what I don't understand for some other people, when they received a blessing from someone they would not be contented about it and the worst is they would tell you, you are not doing anything good for them.

Why can't they say thank you for the blessing they received each day, yes maybe it was just a penny for them but isn't it a nice gesture to say thank you and not wanting for more? Money from my own perspective is a thing that you cannot get with just one snap of your finger, you may married the richest human on earth thus we must respect that a person strive the hardest to reach his goal and what he had now is through his sweats and tribulations that he experience in life just to be what he is right now. Although money is not always being the answer for everything, it is how you cared for someone and be happy when he is happy. And be thankful enough that you have something in your family that anyone might not have and those are love and care and respect.

2012 Movie Review

I watched it twice through online with the link that my husband sent me, the reason why I was not able to blog early today and I didn't even submitted my paid task immediately because I so antsy of watching the movie again.

Although the copy was a bit blurry and I have to use a headset for me to hear the sound clear and I have to wait long hours to fully upload the video, the movie was great and spooky. I even needed to search the ark of Noah right after I watched the movie on the second time around and the location of the Cape of Good Hope.

Moving on, GOD only knows where would the end of time because even if the the planet would align itself to the moon or the sun or something like that, causes of the displacement of the earth, I believe God will never leave us especially if we have faith in him. On the other note let me share to you the synopsis of the movie I found in a website.

An American scientist named PROFESSOR WEST rushes to a research facility in India, where a colleague named SATNAM has made a mysterious but alarming discovery: it seems that there have been usually severe storms on the surface of the sun, which are having a grave effect on earth. Professor West contacts his friend ADRIAN HELMSLEY, a young scientific advisor to the president, and informs him of the ominous developments. Helmsley attempts to brief U.S. PRESIDENT WILSON on Satnam’s findings, but is stopped by pompous White House chief of staff ANHEUSER, who has it out for Helmsley.

From here, things move forward to 2010. By this time President Wilson is aware of what is happening, and calls a private meeting with seven other prominent world leaders at the G8 summit in Spain. What he has to tell them is that the world’s top scientists have confirmed that the world will soon come to an end. As he tries in vain to convince bandmate TONY to contact his estranged son in Japan, the ship is suddenly rocked by an unexpected swell in the ocean. Back in Washington, Laura Wilson receives a call from a distraught museum director in France, who has just enough time to inform her that the World Heritage Foundation is a sham before his car explodes. It seems that he learned too much about the Foundation’s real purpose and had to be silenced. Laura is horrified to discover that she has been working for a front, and is further incensed when she realizes that both Adrian and her father knew what was really going on and didn’t tell her.

Meanwhile, Jackson and the kids arrive at Yellowstone to discover that the military and teams of government scientists, led by Adrian Helmsley, have taken over sections of the park for reasons they cannot fully reveal. Jackson also encounters crackpot radio host CHARLIE FROST, who believes that all signs point to a major catastrophic event beginning in California, spreading to Yellowstone, and eventually destroying the whole world. Jackson is understandably dubious, but back in Los Angeles the previously small fissures become massive, yawning cracks in the earth.

It appears that things are progressing faster than anyone anticipated, and we get our first inkling of what it is that world leaders are planning to do about it; they, along with select wealthy elite from across the globe, will board specially built ships that can weather nature’s wrath. Everyone else will be left to perish and the people from the ships will be left to rebuild civilization and repopulate the planet. Basically, Noah’s Ark for the new millennium.

Gordon and Kate narrowly avoid dying in a crevase in Los Angeles, and Jackson and the children rush back to find them. They arrive just in time to pick them up and escape as earthquakes ravage the city. Talking About Horse Back Riding

One of the most important things about horse back riding, other than know how to ride a horse properly, is to make sure you are properly dressed. Proper shirts, riding breeches and protective gear are important for a safe ride. Whether you are a casual rider, ride competitively, or if horse back riding part of your job, proper attire is essential.

I personally like horse back riding but I don’t have proper equipment and attire, I can still recall when I was in high school, my family and I went out for outing at the park, I saw a horse for rent at that time, after I rented it then I got down from the horse, I didn’t know that I should not passed at his back, the horse almost kicked me, good thing that the care taker went near to calm him otherwise I got hit and hurt so bad.

Typing Without Looking

One of Mj's exams on computer will be keyboarding and I thought they would simply type a sentence in a Microsoft Word, then that's it, I didn't expect that they would complicate it by covering the keyboard while typing. I was in college when I have the same type of exam; I am really surprise that they would do the same type of exam on Thursday.

So I have log off again guys because my eldest daughter would practice her best to type without looking at the keyboard, ugh I hope she can do that!

Last night as I really want to create a slideshow in One True Media I came up with an idea to try the movie maker in my mini laptop, and after the trial and error and after I had read the procedure how to import the music, although I didn't know how to edit the font style or the back ground, I proceeded to try to make one. I had also put it in you tube, so I could share it online, so here it goes:

Mommy Moments : Sporty Day

I am not sure of Faith if she's into sports but with my eldest daughter, I am the living witness how she loves biking, skating, and recently swimming. Last summer I enrolled her to a swimming lesson and she successfully tried to cross over the other side of the pool, she could tried it twice but we quit in the middle of May, we were I guess busy of something and we were not able to get back.

And Biking...

I was not able to take a picture when she used the skate here in our village; it is just so amazing that she adores sports that much I might enroll her for ballet or taekwondo next time.

Starving

I already ate dinner but here I am again, wanted to eat more because I am hungry. I put the firmer that my sister sent to us in my tummy and so when I ate tonight, I just ate a little because I thought I was already full but what the heck, when I took out the firmer when I help Mj review her lessons. I suddenly feel I was hungry and too bad because our rice cooker is already empty, I guess I have to wait for tomorrow to fill in my empty stomach.

I supposed to sleep early since that would be the only way I could not feel the starving but I could not help to watch the PBB tonight and was disappointed that Rob and tom showed the negative side of them when they were defeated and lost in the game, first Tom punched the wall after they lost the first game then Rob did not show any sportsmanship when the house B won the Big Brother Big Ball game, Melissa and Jason did their effort to shake their hands to their previous housemate but Rob simply ignore them.

The scene today made me starve more, I hope the house B would exert more effort and yeah they, lack of focus to the strategy they implied, and also, I hope that they would be more sports when they lost the game, enjoy it and have fun not whining around to win it.

Insurance, Grocery Shop and Videoke

I went out today to pay my insurances, I was glad to found out that one of my insurance had already change my status and my family name unlike the other one since it would take them three months to change it, I wonder how hard it is for them to change it while they are using high tech computers for them to process the papers fast. So anyway after paying my insurance and my Internet provider, I went to the shopping mall to buy some notebooks for Mj, some diapers for Faith and some foods for the house.

Right after I accomplished those things, I headed at my friend's house to meet Cheryl, it has been a while that I haven't seen her, we had our nice dinner at Clarinda's house right after we sang few songs, good thing that the rain quits pouring down when we decided to stop. I hope to go out with them sometimes soon.

Her New Stroller

Two weeks ago I bought Faith a new stroller as I promised it to myself, she doesn't have any personal toys she always got them borrowed from Kuya Yanyan or some old toys of Ate Mj. A new toy for her is not bad at all, she said wow when we saw the stroller in the display area and did not let it go until she saw bikes and scooters near where the toys are. She said wow again in a big loud voice.

But no, we cannot afford to buy yet the scooters or the bikes, I mean she got one scooter at home so I guess one is enough for her and besides she doesn't use her scooter that much because there were big kids who also would like to ride in it and accidentally hit Faith's toe nails, that's why sister Merlyn hang it somewhere for them not to get it easily.

Meanwhile, I have to motivate Faith to like the toy stroller and not those bikes, eventually she got interested with it then we hurriedly took Faith away from the scooters.

A Helping Hand and Tips To Raise Smarter Kids

I was surprised with Faith yesterday because when we were falling in line to pay to the cashier, the guy before us was busy picking up his goods inside the basket in the floor, Faith was standing beside me, she was observing the guy yet then suddenly she picked up those goods in the basket and she handed it to him afterwards, the guy smiled at her when he extends his hand to Faith.

When it’s our turn, my youngest daughter still did not stop to help me, she was the one who picked up those goods that we shop in the grocery, and then gave it to me after; she has been very helpful while Mj was off to the CR. When Mj approached us to the counter, Faith was happily met her Ate while I paid the cashier for the things we just bought.

I know all of us wanted our kids to be smart when they grow up, and I am one of those parents who are aiming and wishing my kids to be witty at school or at any activity they will join. Last week, I spotted a Smart Parenting Magazine in the magazine stand inside the mall, since it has been awhile that I didn't bought magazine for me to read, I thought this is the best time for me to grab their issue this month.

Let me share to you the tips to raise smarter kids.

1. Create a loving and supportive environment.

Of course other people outside of your home, your relative perhaps can attribute your child's mind development by accommodating and promoting positive attitudes. Thus, building a loving and supportive environment helps make them feel safe and capable of being whatever they want.

2. Allow children to interact with other kids and increase their playtime.

Allowing them to interact with other would help them develop their social skills now and in the future. Interaction would also help them to build up leadership skills and emotional intelligence. Playtime is another means for natural learning, it allows them to experience and even learn different things in significant context.

3. Practice your kids to watch TV less.

Though it provides entertainment and an also be a tool to effective learning yet it decreases to develop your kids verbal skills.

4. Provide the right nutrition.

Adequate nutrition nourishes the brain and helps pave the way for better learning. Preparing them nutritious foods like fiber and essential vitamins and minerals would help your kids to be healthy

I love blogging because since then I really like to write, I remember I had a diary that I kept from elementary to high school, I compiled like how many notebooks already but when we move out, it was misplaced and I can't find it anymore. Well if anyone will find it, they couldn't read it still, because I wrote it by code, and I am the only one who knows what’s the meaning of the code. Lol

So even I am not a good writer as good as anyone here in blogosphere, I still want to do it. It is really my passion to write what's in my heart and in my mind, so it is either they like it or not I guess this is a free country and perhaps it is my right to express my thoughts here, just pardon me if you happen to be confused my writings. Their Modus Operandi

I would usually withdraw my money in a ATM machines, there are times that I would shop until sun down and I need to withdraw money at night time going home, the place might spooky or so creepy not with monsters or ghosts but theft and some burglars. Even my sister warned me of that because there might be some people who would snatch my money at that very moment, from then on I would avoid withdrawing money in a dark place where a ATM machine is located.

Now, since Christmas is just around the corner, you must be aware that, thieves are striking again these seasons; BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) warned those cardholders to be more alert and have to watch out those thieves because they seemed to be kind and helpful when they approach you. They would victimized you even you withdraw inside shopping center, their modus operandi is they would approach when the cardholder just finished her/his transactions, they would tell the victim that there is a 500 pesos bill stacked in the machine, then right after that, they suggest the victim to make a balance inquiry of his/her account if it has a deduction of 500 pesos, then the suspect would intently observed the PIN number that you had encoded in the cash machine, they would drop a bill and would claimed that it is from the machine, when the cardholder is busy picking up the money, they would switch the ATM card so quickly from the machine.

Another modus operandi is what they called shoulder surfing, it is when the suspect stands close to the victim and will stealthily memorize the PIN number you encoded. The BSP offered some tips for us to be safe and secure with our transactions, when you are typing your PIN number in the keypad machine, shield it with your hand and if you notice that there's someone is standing close enough at your back, tell him/her to step back, or allow the next person to do and her/his transaction first.

If you spotted that a slot for inserting card does not seem right, walk away and don't do any transaction of that machine, do not share your PIN number even with your family and relatives and absolutely not with stranger.

Mommy Moments: Let's Pretend

Though my morning was not that good because of Mj's complaining me about her classmate who punched her on her tummy and I went to school in an instant to report it to her teacher, I will give the details on my other blog.

Moving on, since it is Mommy Moments today; I would set aside my temper for once and would enjoy the fun here. So here is my entry for this week.

My eldest daughter pretended to be the blue princess when she joined a pageant contest way back on her kindergarten days.

She was also appointed as one of the angels during their program when she was on her second grade.

And I would like you all to welcome the new Rambo girl in town, my very own little Faith, with a lollipop that she kept on licking.

Uhmmm Tsalap!

So I woke up so early this morning to prepare Mj a burger for her to bring at school for snack, I usually gave her biscuits and a drink and I realized yesterday, I guess to make her a burger would be a big treat. When we went to the frozen section, I bought patties, cheese and bread.

This is my first time to make a burger, it was easy I know and I can prepare it quickly. But the thing is my brother in law is usually the one who cook every morning except this morning since my niece doesn't have classes yet. So I really have to get up as early as I could and prepare Mj some food. I thought she doesn't like the patty since I didn't like the way it taste, but when I let her tried a little she asked me if she could bring two burgers. My sister Irenie like it too and Faith as well, it was funny for my youngest because every one bite, she would say "Uhmmm Tsalap" and when she pretended to give some of it to her doll in her new stroller, she would still be the one to say "Uhmm Tsalap"

I made five burgers and they ate it all, maybe it was really "uhmmm tsalap" hehehe

I Must Go Now

Today is the schedule for Faith's vaccination and I must prepare real fast, not to mention that I have to send a lunch for Mj at school, she woke up late, no actually my clock was late and I thought it was yet 7:30 a.m., so we ask her to buy a rice on the nearest store after she took a bath.

I was surprised when her carpool arrived before she even take her breakfast, we were really panicking, she needs to take her breakfast, good thing that sister Irenie bought a bread last night so I put those breads on her pack and ask her to eat that in the carpool, I hope she would really eat it.

I must go now, I need to get some things done as fast as I could and that means now, whew! The rain just pour aarrrgghs!!!

A Teen Struggles For His Life

Life could have been so beautiful for Bewer if only he has not been living with ventilator for him to breathe and lie down in a balloon type mattress for his burn body. He is heavily sedated and his whole body covered with bandages.

He got the 2nd to 3rd degree burn when group of teenagers throw him a rubbing alcohol and set him on fire, the reason of this attack was after he reported the five teenagers, 4 of them were 15 years old and the other one is 13 years old to the police for stealing his father’s bicycle’s, the teenagers called Bewer a snitch as they used a lighter to set him aflame.

Surrogates and Farmtown

When I was still playing Farmtown in Facebook, my imaginations get so weird, I was like asking what if we could buy a farm then we will have our own avatar to work for it and we will just click it to move? If that would happen we all be just lying at home with big belly because we are not doing the usual routine anymore and we cannot get a regular exercise at all by doing activities because we are already busy clicking in our computers while our avatar is busy harvesting for us. I know it will be comfy because we are earning at the comfort of our home but would that be advantage or a big risk to our health and to the entire race?

On the other note, I supposed to watch Surrogates movie in the big screen but it was always postponed until it was due for another movie. When my daughter and I went to downtown last week to grocery shop, I tempted to buy a DVD for it in the street vendor, then I soon realized that it was no good to buy DVD's from them because it won't work alright, I bought the G Force also and both of them gets cut out in the middle, so I ended up searching for it online and thank GOD I found it in the website that my hubby gave me.

My sister was right that the Surrogates was similar to my imagination, it is like you can do everything you want in the comfort of your home, your surrogates I must say not avatar would do things outside of your home with you control it, and I was right it won't do good at all thus, all people outside are robots and the real people are just inside of the house lying on that especial chair.

Her Testimonial

I was stunned when my niece told me about her friend, who used to be our neighbor before about her testimonial on her Friendster account, her testimonial contains about her mother whom she hated so much, I can't reveal her account to protect her identity. But as a Mom that is quiet sensitive, it is totally a foul to do that to her mom behind her back, I guess until now didn't know about it that her daughter publicly announced that she hates her mom so much. I mean if she and her mom had arguments why does she have to expose it in the Internet when everyone could read it.

I don't want to be biased as I really don't know the whole details, my niece told me that they are always fighting with each other, and this teenager would really fight back against her mom. I am not sure if she knows what she is doing and what is the impact of this action, putting her mom in shame through the Internet, I hope that Mj will not grow up as this, I mean it is better to talk to your Mom if she imposed some rules that against your will. In the end your parents especially your Mom will not think of things that would put you down instead they will do everything just for you to be a better person, I hope my niece's friend would realize that someday.

First Country To Go For A Visit

My husband and I had been planning to go to Australia for a visit, in fact I already contacted my friend from there if they could accommodate us since hubby and I are both new to the place, it is good to bring the kids with us but let's see since this would be an expensive travel, besides we will not be there for leisure yet we are going to look for a place for us to stay for good as a family.

Australia is one of our options to start a family; I hope the kids will going to like it. And since there's a possibility that we will leave the kids behind, we might going to buy some presents for them as, just like a baby boots for Faith and a T shirts for Mj, this would be a nice souvenirs from Australia when we get back from our trip, I was thinking to buy plush toys as well to put it in my computer table, in that way it would serve as a proof that I'd been there in Australia, my ever first country to go for a visit outside the Philippines.
