My Friend's Son

What's with the world today? Why people around me are getting sick? First, my BFF then my youngest daughter and last night, I just learned that the son of my friend in College was admitted in the hospital, I thought they only have a minor case but I was wrong, I was so stunned when she told me the reason why her son was admitted in the hospital.

Her son suddenly fainted and collapsed last Tuesday with no reason at all, they hurriedly send him to the hospital and the findings after the thorough check up and the brain scan was his brain rhythm is not normal. They stayed there for four days and the Doctor gave them syrup amounted to P1, 700.00 the kid must take it for two years. My husband stated seizure or something but my friend did not clarify it, I guess she is too pre occupied with what happen because every time I asked her regarding with his son's condition now and how did it happen, she was just quiet. I hope her son would be alright with the treatment and I am praying for his fast recovery.

Hang Out With Friends

Staying at home is pretty boring sometimes, good thing that I could still go out when I have to pay our bills just like today. Electric bill is about to due, so I have to get myself ready to go out any minute now, right after paying the bill, I and Mj might go to our friend's house, she is so happy because she had the time again to ask for her gifts on Christmas day.

I have to prepare also the dress and the bathrobe that she would be using on her upcoming wedding on January, we have many things to talk to regarding with the preparation, and her sister is asking my advice what is the best weight loss pill in the market today, she is the maid of honor and aside from the bride, she also have to be fit, healthy and look good. I am so excited with the wedding and I know so well that she is getting nervous and excited, but I am sure she would be alright, yes it is stressful but I guess that's normal for a bride to feel that way, as long as she have friends to support her just like what I had, she should not get worried.

Mommy Moments: Precious Gift

Another week is about to end, Monday was just like an hour ago, and oh how time flies so fast. Last night I was looking at our old pictures in multiply and that art caught my attention. It was from Mj's, she handed me that during my birthday two years ago, an art with I love you Mama! She also handed me the Santan leaves, it was so simple but the most precious gift I ever had.

My Eldest Daughter Intramurals

Right after their periodical test last week, the kids were busy then preparing their Intramurals. Mj woke up so early in the morning to wear their uniforms. She even asked my sister Irenie to put her some make up as required, she was so excited to perform their cheer dance as she always showing it for me almost every night.

We Would Like To Spend Our Time With Him

Terry and I had been planning to migrate to another place, we were thinking Australia and New Zealand, in fact we already gather some information from the Internet of how we could get there. And when the time comes that we are settled in the place that we like to stay for good, we might just going to visit his father in Florida, when we have time and if our budget is enough, I hope the kids can still see him, not to mention that he is not well this time that he even told my hubby that he might not going to make it to 100 years anymore, well my hopes are high that he can make it.

And if he does or at least before that, we might treat him for orlando vacations him, his wife and us with the kids it would be exciting for all of us, we would visit some spectacular parks and would stay for a nice hotel. I'm crossing my fingers he could still stay with us for a longer time as I like to know him more as I am sure the kids would like to spend their time with him as well.

I Will Send Her To Her Pedia

Alright, that was it! I thought she is getting better, but this early dawn she woke me up and said she wanted to poop, we both wake up and I was ready to clean her but then I heard that sounds again so I hurriedly went to the bathroom with her. It was watery once again, I need to put her an ointment so she could sleep well.

This early morning, when she was about to take a bath, she is complaining again her tummy. My sister attained her immediately as I was still sleeping in the bedroom, when I went out sister blurted out that I have to send her to the hospital, she is getting so thin and her poop is not improving.

So I have to go now folks, we need to catch up her Pedia's schedule. Ciao!

Our Long Time Favorite

My family and I are so fond of ABS-CBN except my brother-in-law Kuya James, I am not against with other network, it is just since then we already love their program.

I guess it is already about three weeks that we cannot access the channel; it was so blurry and was not clear at all even I tried so hard to point our antennae to different location but we just can't get it right. So for three weeks time, our TV was shut off, the kids opened it and after a while they would get bored at all so they spent their time to play its either the PSP or here in my mini laptop. Mj likes the Barbie thing game here and I don't even know what website was that, sometimes I caught her watching the Mr. Bean in the you tube.

My brother-in-law, decided to buy a new antennae, I don't know what happen last week, why he was not able to buy the Baron antennae, I was surprised this morning, he opened the idea again of buying that antenna to his wife so they went out this afternoon and after I took a nap, I was so happy to see our favorite channel so clearly now. Our long time favorite is back, my sister Merlyn exclaimed that she can finally watch her favorite drama series once again.

She Doesn't Like To Eat

I woke up so early with my little baby telling me that she pooped. She always had LBM nowadays and she doesn't like to eat much food, she always wants her milk. And if we insist her to eat she would throw up all the food that she intake.

We already tried everything, it is either I or sisters would feed her but after a while she will run away and don't want to eat the food. She also become irritable of something, she always pointed out her gum and said "Yayay" meaning it hurts.

And this morning when I asked what she wants when she keeps on dragging me to the bedroom from the computer area, she answered rapidly "Daddy" waaaaaaaaaaahhh it is really sometimes for us to be far away from him. So since she was persistent for us to go back in the bedroom, I just told hubby that I'll be right back, I will just follow what the little baby wants.

A Simple Card

My two kids are beside me sleeping, they were both so tired with our small outing today we went to the pool for the extension of my birthday celebration. My relatives and some of my friends were there, good thing I was able to bring my mini laptop and my sister had a USB Globe Tattoo so my cousins were able to harvest their farm town and were able to serve the food that was almost overcooked in their cafe world in Facebook, no they were not addicted, they were already officially certified addicts hehehe.

Anyway, I thank GOD for all the blessings he bestowed on me, that even I'd been through a lot before, he never left me alone and after long years of waiting for the right man, he gave me not only the perfect man but an angel whose love and sincerity are genuine. I always thank GOD for giving me a husband who is always there for me; he is the best gift that GOD had given me. I could ask for nothing more, though there is one thing I always wish for and that is to be with him someday.

Mommy Moments : Tantrums Tantrums

I know I am so late posting my Mommy Moments yesterday, please spare me because it was just my birthday hehehe and I celebrated it with my kids in the mall, it was only a small celebration but we had a blast in that fun house.

Anyway, I hope I can still catch up with this week's theme, when Mj was still a toddler, I didn't have to deal with tantrums, she was more behave and she can understand whenever I say no or you can't have it, maybe because she knows that Mom is working her butt so hard so both of us had some foods to eat everyday. Faith is different because when I'll say no she would insist and if I'll still say no she would cry so hard, but dealing with her is not easy yet I have to be firm of what I said, later she would stop crying and will play instead.

The picture below was when she wants to open the door in the bedroom so she can bother sister Merlyn in the laundry area. I told her no and we should take a nap, so she blurted out a loud cry, she was persistent at first and tried to hit me with her hands.

At The Comfort Of Her Home

I have a friend from South Carolina who owns a mobile home so whenever she is; her mobile home is always with her. She is always having fun every time she has a trip, well it is because she is enjoying the moment at the comfort of her home. Plus, she is getting now a motorhome insurance protected by the most comprehensive recreational vehicle insurance, so she is always at peace.

I have no idea what is it to be like when you are living in a mobile home, if you are outgoing that would fit for you, but maybe it won't work with me since I just like to stay home. But even so I still like to experience to travel while cleaning your home or cooking your dish, I might tell my hubby about this one and see if we like it.

I Am Chatting With Dad Mom!

Yesterday, when I woke up from my short nap to chat with Terry, I had Faith beside me keeps on looking of what I typed, after a while I went out from the bedroom to get something in the kitchen. When I got back, this was what I saw, my baby was already in front of my mini computer and as if she was typing. She glanced at me in a minute then continued of what she was typing, when I tried to get the lap top, she cried and said "Daddy, Ma" I asked her "Who are you chatting with? Your Dad?" that she abruptly replied, "Yes" waaaaahhhhhhh. Now I guess I know who would be the next Mariel who keeps on sneaking in my laptop, and it is Faith.

The very reason why I was not able to update my three blogs yesterday, because I was so busy with Mj's Intramurals at school, I have to be there to support their cheer dance and as usual the photographer of the day. ( I will share the pictures later) Anyway, right after their cheerdance performance I took a short nap at home since I didn't get enough sleep that night before the day, my sister just woke me up, when its time to go to our neighbor's wedding

Yes, we were invited at Tekofsky wedding, their ceremony was held in Redemptorist Church and their reception was at Jacksridge Restaurant Resort. The guy had his parents with him, some friends, brothers and sisters, they were complete to the fact they live in a far away place. I remember his father said that even money is at stake to be in the Philippines but nothing is important than to witnessed their son's wedding.

To Mr. and Mrs. Tekofsky, thank you for inviting me to witness your glamorous and so heavenly wedding, it is my pleasure to see you both in love and happy with each other, and congratulations to you upcoming baby, I would be very excited to see your baby soon.

What I Was Busy With

Well, as usual I was doing a multitasking again last night, aside from helping Mj with her review for today's exam, I was also chatting with friends and hubby, blogging, and cooking ooopss not in our kitchen though but in the Cafe World in Facebook. LOL

Too bad, I cannot put a picture here now because my staff are all busy cooking yet, if I have time and enough money to beautify my cafe, I would surely put a picture here so you will see.

I Was Wrestled

I was not really in the mood this morning because I slept too late ooppss not too late but so early, I slept at 5:00 a.m. to upload the video of my slide show just knowing it later that you tube cannot upload a video if it is more than 10 minutes, I was so huh??? After the effort and the time to upload it, that is the only thing they could say? So when I woke up at 8:00 a.m., I already felt and looked like a zombie at all.

To gain back my energy from last night's stressful experience, I just then too my nap but my little baby here was playing around and so noisy while I slept and she sometimes makes me a horse, she would ride in my back and would say "Tigidig dig dig" she was not contented at all because she would sat at my head and my body all so sudden, she would also doing her exhibition by rolling her body to mine. I was like yeah, I had a nice nap but right after a while my body was aching and felt like I was wrestled.

It Must Be Aside For Now

I am wishing to own a car and to drive with it, but I think I need to enroll myself first for driving lessons so I won't be needing a driver to send me somewhere, once I am finish with the course, I will look for a fine car, not the expensive but the cheapest one, I would also look for some car accessories so my baby car would look good even if it is affordable, anyway it is not how expensive your car that matter, it is how durable it is and as soon as it can send you to your destination, that's no problem at all.

If I would have my own car, I'll be the one sending and fetching Mj to school and if we wanted to just stroll around downtown, I can just grabbed the car then go, I don't have to wait for a public vehicle to send me to the place I want to go. But this time I must say I have to fit myself for tricycles and Jeepney's since there are things that we need to settle first when hubby would go back here next year, we have to settle a place for us to live and be together as a family. So buying a car must be set aside for now.

Something to Celebrate

It has been four years now that we know each other, this was exactly the month that we met online, it was just a simple hi and hello that later on, it has pursued to a serious relationship. Terry has been my fortress and my real knight in shining armor, I can't believe how time flies so fast, though were still apart for now, I am so grateful I found him.

The Will Power

Well as most of you, guys we always went to the mall too and mostly we go for grocery shopping and if when Dad is here, almost our time would always spend it the mall it's either to dine or window shopping, or do real shopping. Well, Mommy Chris is right about malls having taken the place of the parks.

Captured for Eighteen Years

I first glanced at the picture of Jaycee Dugard in a blog site where there were pictures of kids who were missing, I once posted it here in My Little Home the slide show of those kids whose until now was never found, but I deleted it when I bought the new lay out, my sister even exclaimed when she saw the picture of Jaycee in the website with the year when she was kidnapped that she must be old already right now.

Last August 26th of this year, she was found when her capture was invited by his parole officer for investigation regarding giving fliers with two kids around him as he should not be allowed to get near with the kids because of a rape case. Later in the day Garrido and his wife together with the two kids and Jaycee went to the office and told the parole officer that he is building a family of his own, but when Jaycee was separated from them for investigation, she was able to tell them that she was the girl who was kidnapped 18 years ago and Garrido raped her and fathered her two girls, the rest of the story here.

Jaycee's picture was revealed after two months of hiding away from the public ever since when she was found; she is back to her family right now and is under medication. Just click here for the rest of the story.

What is a Mayan Calendar?

Earlier, Kuya James and I talked about Mayan Calendar and their prediction on 2012, he found a video clips in you tube saying those stuff. One of the video clips said that our mother earth had a passageway in the center; it was like a halo or something that soon in 2012 the water would fill in that halo and will create another era.

I don't know if that is true but there are speculations around about the predictions and the Mayan Calendar. This is what I found when I Google it, The Mayan Calendar is something profoundly different than just a system to mark off the passage of time. The Mayan Calendar is above all a prophetic calendar that may help us understand the past and foresee the future. It is a calendar of the Ages that describe how the progression of Heavens and Underworlds condition the human consciousness and thus the frames for our thoughts and actions within a given Age. The Mayan Calendar is not predicting the end of the world 2012, but the start of a new era.

I am not convincing you to believe what they said; it is I think its the time for us to be aware what is happening around us.

Taxi

Faith can speak now some words, sometimes I was surprised how she reacted and how she imitates us that fast, if we are not careful enough to say something she might be able to learn words that are not appropriate for her.

The video below was when we tried to call for a taxi cab after church, we were so busy then when she abruptly inserted and call the taxi, and only she just uttered axi or sometimes atsi instead of taxi while waving for the taxi to get near. We were laughing so hard because it has been she keeps on calling them, though when I video taped her she stopped.

Finally, I Took a Long Nap

I supposed to hit the bed the moment I arrived home last night but since I was not able to chat with hubby earlier, I thought to message him on his cell phone in YM would be nice, but right after I message him last night, I can't help to update this blog and waiting if I have chances from one paid site I joined for this space.

Amidst of my writing, hubby sent me a message then in my YM asking how are the kids and how I was in Clarinda's house, I was able to talk to him what happen and why I got home very late, it is not he was nosy about why I arrive home late, it was just telling him, how my day went yesterday.

Today, I was planning to go to my insurances company to update my status but I was not able to go out in the house, I was really so sleepy and I thought to take a nap would help me regain my strength and my energy. I woke up so late and obviously I can't go out anymore since the offices would close at 5:00 pm., even though I was not able to go out as plan, I did not regret it anyway aside from I have to go to Mj's Tutor class to pay for their service, I think I really need to take a long nap.

Those Minor Things

When I went to my friend's house this afternoon to help her to install her Vonage, Terry message me then in my phone that he is already online at least before their meeting and before he would go back to Maryland. He expected me that I was home already since I told him before we went to church that we would get home early in the afternoon for Mj have to attend her Tutor at 4:00 p.m.

Then I told him that once I would arrive at my friend's house, I would try to use her internet so I could chat with him. He replied back that he would call me then if I won't be able to use the Internet.

When I arrive at my friend's house, we already started to try to hook up the connection to the phone, as well as videoke and chitchatting then the electricity suddenly went out plus it rains so hard. Unfortunately, when I checked my phone to see if he called, my phone was out of battery as well.

But you know what, maybe I am just lucky to have my husband because he never pissed off even sometimes I cannot keep my promise just like what happen earlier, or was not able to answer my phone when he called because I did not hear it, or I was out of battery. I know those were only minor things, that is understandable but being miles away those minor things are important so to keep the love alive. Communication is the only tool so you were able to reach out to each other and will not create loopholes in the relationship.

On the other hand, I am happy though that my friend's Vonage is already set up and ready to use, even I just assisted with it and just hook and hook all the necessary and the unnecessary cable, hahahaha only to find out it did not work because we did not refresh the status of the connection. Grrrr!

Accomplishments

I did not went out today since the repair man will be coming here early in the morning, I already bought the materials he will need today so everything were already set up, all he have to do now is to extend the gutter in our roof. Yes, I did not went out but I spent some money today for the payment and for their meals and that I need to tight my budget on the coming days since Mj's exam is fast approaching, I will have to pay her tuition fee again and her tutor and the carpool and some other stuff.

Anyway, speaking of accomplishments, I already got our marriage contract so I will have a marriage status updates in all my insurances, I will also include Faith as my beneficiary in the coming week, and nope we won't applying for a visa this year we have one thing to prioritize yet before we could apply for one, and we need to save more money for that.

I know God will always make a way for us to be together, he would always be with us in this journey and all we have to do is to wait for the right time and maybe for the exact money to process it. LOL

Mommy Moments - Special Trips

Since Terry is not here always with us, the special trips we often have with the kids would only be on his vacation leaves from work. The recent and the longest trips we had was when we went to Manila to get Terry's legal capacity to marry, it was on summer April, 2009.

We stayed in Best Western Hotel in Manila and the moment we arrived there we visited immediately the Ocean Park and the Mall of Asia, here are some of our pictures.

How I wish Terry would always be here so we can have a family bonding like this, came September 2009 when he went here again but it was different though because we were so busy with our wedding so we don't have that family bonding at all in places, but on second thought family bonding would not always mean going to different places, because with our little love bugs laugh in the living room perhaps, or going to the mall with Dad that means a lot more.

Best Clothes for my Girls

We have a very active 18 month old toddler. If she is not out growing her clothes she is getting stains or tears in them. Buying clothes for her can be a challenge since I cannot go to the mall as often as I like.

Life is Hard? Yes But...

There were times in my past that life was hard, that sometimes I just want to end up everything or be gone in this world in an instant. If I didn't have enough courage to pursue my dreams I might end up with nothing especially when the one you are inspired of could only be in your dreams, or in my head.

I am not trying to emphasize here that I don't have happy moments way back then, well thanks to all my friends who were not fed up, of listening my stories and who were always ready to lend a shoulder for me to cry on. Life was hard but there were some aspects of that past taught me something and that is to be strong whenever things are not cooperating, whenever you feel down and when everyone turned their back on you because in some way somehow, life will be better right after the storms.

Life maybe hard but when you have overcome it, you would realized how important life is, you would realize that in your journey there is GOD who is only not behind you but who would carry you whenever you feel like defeated and burden, you just have to wait and life will be at its best ahead of you.

I Am so Lucky I have Them

My wedding won't be a success if I don't have my ever dearest friends in the wedding. First and foremost Cheryl who assisted me from day one of my preparation, I really thank you girl for making the holder of my wedding invitation, for being there when I am already confused what to do, and for being the emcee as well as being the singer of my big day. You really did a great job and I am so thankful I have you.

Second, my BFF of course, who help me made the giveaways, who is always beside me when I will shop for the jewelries and the one who design the pillow and most of all thank you for letting me borrowed your veil.

Even you almost dozed off for making those hairstyles for the entourage, you still there willing to assist me, thank you for the speech and the never ending BFF.

So Many Things To Do

I got so many things to do here, but I don't have that much time, I need to choose eight songs for my wedding video, I need to submit that together with the pictures I selected for loose prints, I have to go to church where we had our wedding to check if our marriage contract is already there from the LCR, I have to go to Cheryl and see her, I want to do this and that, but I have lesser time.

I don't know where I would begin, not to mention that I am still so sleepy because I slept so late last night. It has been how many nights now that I just could not sleep, ever since Luzon is under a state of calamity, because of a huge flood plus the super typhoon Peping just hit them recently. They were talking about the climate change and somehow we would experience those things here in Davao, our local government is starting now to buy rubber boats in case there would be an emergency like that, but what if another one will hit us, shaking from undergrounds perhaps, are we still ready if any of those circumstance occur?

I know I am just being pathetic and I need to get more sleep. Have a good day everyone!

A Perfect Place

Winter is on its way and when I think of a place to go to escape winter weather, I think of some place where I could relax, and wind up, it must be a place where I could see beautiful beaches, lots of sun and affordable.

Well, obviously Cozumel has all that and a perfect place for our winter's get away. It’s great for me, Terry, MJ and Faith, swimming, walking and shopping, plus great food and entertainment, a good place for my family to enjoy a brief winter’s vacation.

Just a Simple Thank You

I wonder why some people could not just say a simple thank you despite of all the things you did, instead they would try their best to bring you down, by saying the things you didn't do. Sometimes if you help some people, other people would criticize you and would say you are being so proud of yourself; you are showing off, why they can’t just say a simple thank you because you are helping them.

There is one song I always remember whenever I feel like I am being pushed and all the things I've done is not the best enough, maybe that is right somehow, maybe when you are willing to be there, they won't just see it, maybe I have to be gone in a while so they would know.

Just a simple thank you, and it would bring us all the sunshine in life, a simple thank you and that would bring back a smile.

What Happened to Friendster?

I'd been uploading my pictures in Friendster but the only thing I got are errors since last night, and yet until now I am still uploading the other pictures one by one. I just stopped for a while because I have to help cleaning the house, and later I have to lie beside Faith in bed hoping she would sleep but it did not work instead I was the one who fell asleep while she keeps playing on my side. Mj went inside the bedroom to take a nap so I have to carry Faith to persist her to sleep yet she still so active and so I gave up. We went out in the living room after a while before she will disturb her sister on her nap.

I took a bath when she was busy watching and right after I took a bath and washed some dishes left in the kitchen, I handed her, her feeding bottle and all the while she finished it all then suddenly she lay down her head on my shoulder and went to sleep exactly at 4:00 p.m. and yet until now the friendster still acting up and did not upload the photos I wanted to put there., I wonder when it would allow me to load all the pictures since it has been like this for how many hours, uhmmm what do you think?

Mommy Moments - Music and Me

Its Friday once again, and you know what excite me about? Well, obviously the Mommy Moments and its theme that always give me inspiration. This past few weeks has not been good to all of us and now we are facing again another trials in life and that is the super typhoon Pepeng that will hit us on Saturday, I hope the music from our kids here in our theme would put the super typhoon away or would mellow down in some way. I know I am being silly but who knows the hum of our music would put the typhoon away.

Anyway, Terry and I love's to sing even the song despised us but no one could ever stop us of singing a videoke song, Recently Terry bought us a magic sing and the moment it was hooked up in our component, we just could not stop singing and you bet Faith as well tried hard to get the microphone from us.

Last summer my eldest daughter Mj attended a workshop at Jollibee, she was so excited and that she always practiced their piece at home.

During bedtime and they are listening yet to the music from my cellphone

I decided to post some updates of my blog at night but to my disappointments, my internet was acting up, it won't connect me at all. And when I tried to call the customer service of my Internet provider, I can only hear rings and rings, I wonder what happen to them, maybe their office was also affected by the typhoon that recently hit here in the Philippines.

Since I was totally shut off from the computer and my eldest daughter just arrived from her tutor, I scan her notes and help her review in Science, Faith woke up after a while and played with her Ate Mj when I would make a quiz for her yet, at 10:00 p.m., we all went to our bedroom to sleep unfortunately the two kids could not stop giggling to the music that Ate Mj played in my cellphone.
