A Frustrating Day

Last night when I arrived home, I then lay all the materials needed for Mj's project, I was so busy pasting and clustering her project in English an accordion that is, and since I can't attain her at the moment, I asked her to study in English, since tomorrow is Friday and it is her quiz day. I finally finished the project at around 11:00 p.m. but I can't hit the bed that instant because I have to let Faith sleep first. She slept like 12:00 a.m. already, after I was done with the expenses stuff in my laptop, I crash the bed around 1:00 a.m. but Faith woke up around 5:00 a.m. and did not sleep at all.

Sister Irenie got her after a while but too sad, I still can't continue to sleep because I have to prepare Mj for school, hoping she could answer the quiz today. But when she arrives at school, I was so disappointed because she is not doing well still, we have an advanced study with her Civics and she even recited to me what she studied and yet she did not get the right answer. I really need help, I mean she does because I don't know anymore what to do, I may have not the proper way of teaching her, maybe to entrust her to a tutor will do good, and I will just make a follow up then. Math, on the other hand does makes me happy because she is quiet good in it, in fact she got 42 out of 50 on her exams, but I hope she will do her best on the other subject.

To Enroll Them Or Not

Mariel, my niece had been bugging me to enroll her and MJ to a guitar and piano lessons I supposed to enroll them the first week of this month but because I was too busy and my funds from my savings was intended to our upcoming wedding, I was not able to enroll them. Mariel is still hoping though that one day I would go to St. Patricks to inquire and would fill up an application for them, these girls really love music.

But I am so bombarded with expenses right now, I have many things to prioritize and one of them, is our upcoming wedding, plus I am planning to hire a tutor for Mj because she really needs help with Civics, English and Science subject, it doesn't mean I am not tracking with her studies but I don't know anymore what to do with those subjects, because the moment she is already at school, and they have quiz with what we studied, she tends to forget all those things and sometimes her answer would mixed up. I have talked to one tutor this afternoon and told me that she is just adjusting knowing that she is a transferee and she is already used to the method of teaching from her previous school and now that is the new school, new teaching, new types of test and exams. The tutor told me to give her a break and a tutor maybe could help her.

Happy Birthday Buntis!

It is the natal day of my dearest best buddy Claire of My Rendezvous, I supposed to go there at their house tonight, but due to lack of sleeps and ran out of funds plus I need to keep track of Mj studies since they already went back to class on Monday from the H1N1 scare that happens last week, I was not able to go.

Anyway, Cla I know you understand how I worked so hard so Mj can cope up with her studies, I hope this greeting would make you happy somehow, I know this is not much and I know that I may not say this very often but I cared and treasured our friendship so much for 11 years and it is still kicking and I bet it will be until the end of time. Happy Birthday Claire and you may have many more birthdays and bountiful blessings to come.

Energy And Effecient

Incandescent light bulbs are boring and are not very energy efficient. They provide harsher light than other more economical types of light bulbs. Changing your light bulb can also change the appearance of your house.

And replacing an old or non-working incandescent light with a more modern energy efficient light bulb can easily change the appearance and décor of a room, just by providing softer or more decorative lighting.

Statement Of The Nation Address

The SONA of President Gloria Arroyo has done and yet many were speculated and some gave critics to what she said, I was not able to watch it yesterday that is why when I open my computer this early morning, her SONA was the first one I search in the Internet.

So if many of you were not able to watch the SONA yesterday you may like to read it now here:

MANILA, Philippines - President Arroyo came out swinging yesterday at her critics in her last State of the Nation Address (SONA), defending her style of governance and vowing to continue to “fight” for the welfare of ordinary Filipinos and the economy up to the last day of her term in June 2010.

“At the end of this speech I shall step down from this stage, but not from the presidency. My term does not end until next year. Until then, I will fight for the ordinary Filipino. The nation comes first. There is much to do as head of state – to the very last day,” Mrs. Arroyo said.

Wearing a magenta terno and sporting a hairstyle similar to what she had when she was sworn into office in 2001, Mrs. Arroyo started her SONA with a prayer for the cancer-stricken former President Corazon Aquino, whom she later cited in her speech.

She said under her administration, the economy grew stronger despite the global recession while the country’s democracy remained protected despite several destabilization attempts accompanied by allegations of massive corruption and efforts to amend the Constitution to purportedly prolong her stay in office. The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank expect the economy to contract this year.

She said she never declared martial law and never expressed a desire to extend her term.

“A year is a long time. Patuloy ang pamumuhunan sa tinatawag na three E’s ng ekonomiya, environment at edukasyon. (We will continue to invest in the three E’s of economy, environment and education). There are many perils that we must still guard against,” she said.

“Some say that after this SONA, it will be all politics. Sorry, but there’s more work.” She thanked Filipinos for allowing her to serve as President.

She asked political candidates in the coming elections “to talk more about how they will build up the nation rather than tear down their opponents.”

“Our candidates must understand the complexities of our government and what it takes to move the country forward. Give the electorate real choices and not just sweet talk,” Mrs. Arroyo said.

“Meanwhile, I will keep a steady hand on the tiller, keeping the ship of state away from the shallows some prefer, and steering it straight on the course I set in 2001,” she said.

While not naming names, the President delivered heavy punches to some of her strongest critics, who were apparently former President Joseph Estrada, Pangasinan Rep. Jose de Venecia Jr., Sen. Mar Roxas, and critical business groups.

“I never expressed the desire to extend myself beyond my term. Many of those who accuse me of it tried to cling like nails to their posts,” Mrs. Arroyo said.

“I am accused of misgovernance. Many of those who accuse me of it left me the problem of their misgovernance to solve. And we did it,” she said.

She said she was “falsely accused, without proof, of using my office for personal profit. Many of those who accuse me of it have lifestyles and spending habits that make them walking proofs of that crime.”

“We can read their frustrations. They had the chance to serve this good country and they blew it by serving themselves,” she said.

“Those who live in glass houses should cast no stones. Those who should be in jail should not threaten it, especially if they have been there,” she said, apparently referring to Estrada’s detention and conviction for plunder. Mrs. Arroyo pardoned Estrada shortly after his conviction by the Sandiganbayan in October 2007.

Apparently referring to her erstwhile ally De Venecia, she said the “noisiest critics of constitutional reform tirelessly and shamelessly attempted Cha-cha (Charter change) when they thought they could take advantage of a shift in the form of government.”

“Now that they feel they cannot benefit from it, they oppose it,” the President said.

She, however, remained silent on her latest position on moves in the House of Representatives to amend the Constitution.

She said “as the seeds of fundamental political reform are planted, let us address the highest exercise of democracy, voting.”

She also hit Roxas, who has presidential ambitions, for using the Cheaper Medicine Law issue to lambast her. She said she exercised her powers under the law to increase the number of medicine whose prices are to be reduced.

Just do it

“To those who want to be President, this advice: If you really want something done, just to do it. Do it hard. Do it well. Don’t pussyfoot. Don’t pander. And don’t say bad words in public,” she said, apparently referring to Roxas’ swear words during an anti-Charter change rally in Makati City in December.

Mrs. Arroyo said being the President in the last eight years was not easy and was full of risks, but countered it by working “24/7 and being ready for any contingency, any crisis, anywhere, anytime.”

“There isn’t a day I do not work at my job or a waking moment when I do not think through a work-related problem,” she said.

“Even my critics cannot begrudge the long hours I put in. Our people deserve a government that works just as hard as they do,” she pointed out.

“Everything right can be undone by even a single wrong. Every step forward must be taken in the teeth of political pressures and economic constraints that could push you two steps back if you flinch and falter,” she said.

“I have not flinched, I have not faltered. Hindi ako umaatras sa hamon (I don’t run away from challenges),” she said.

Mrs. Arroyo said she has never done any of the things that “have scared my worst critics so much.”

“They are frightened by their own shadows,” she said.

She justified her frequent foreign trips, which critics have lambasted as a profligate misuse of public funds.

She also defended her strong moves to quell various destabilization and coup attempts since 2001, saying she was able to resolve the crises “with the ordinary powers of my office.”

“My critics call it dictatorship. I call it determination. We know it as strong government,” the President said.

“But I never declared martial law, though they are running scared as if I did. In truth, what they are really afraid of is their weakness in the face of this self-imagined threat,” she pointed out.

“I say to them: do not tell us what we all know, that democracy can be threatened. Tell us what you will do when it is attacked. I know what to do,” she said.

As she has shown in the past, she said, she will continue to firmly defend democracy and “try to sustain it by wise policies of economic progress, so that a democracy means not just an empty liberty but a full life for all.”

Unprecedented growth

Mrs. Arroyo pointed out that in 2008 up to the first quarter of 2009, the Philippines stood among only a few economies in Asia-Pacific that did not shrink.

“Compare this to 2001, when some of my current critics were driven out by people power. Asia was surging but our country was on the brink of bankruptcy,” she said. “The state of our nation is a strong economy. Good news for our people, bad news for our critics.”

“I did not become President to be popular. To work, to lead, to protect and preserve our country, our people, that is why I became President. When my father left the presidency, we were second to Japan. I want our Republic to be ready for the first world in 20 years,” she said.

Since 2001, the economy posted uninterrupted growth for 33 quarters; more than doubled its size from $76 billion to $186 billion, she said. The average Gross Domestic Product growth from 2001 to the first quarter of 2009 is the highest in 43 years.

The number of Filipinos who considered themselves poor went down from 59 percent to 47 percent even with the population growing, Mrs. Arroyo said.

The country’s per capita GDP rose from $967 to $2,000 while it created eight million jobs in the last eight years “much, much more than at any other time,” she pointed out.

“In sum: First, we have a strong economy and a strong fiscal position to withstand global shocks. Second, we built new modern infrastructure and completed unfinished ones. Third, the economy is more fair to the poor than ever before. Fourth, we are building a sound base for the next generation. Fifth, international authorities have taken notice that we are safer from environmental degradation and man-made disasters,” she said.

She said the global economic crisis hit both developed and developing countries worldwide but the Philippines was least affected and was cited for this by international rating agencies.

“Had we listened to the critics of those policies, had we not braced ourselves for the crisis that came, had we taken the easy road much preferred by politicians eyeing elections, this country would be flat on its back. It would take twice the effort just to get it back again on its feet to where we are now because we took the responsibility and paid the political price of doing the right thing,” Mrs. Arroyo said.

Under her watch, she said major highways and roads as well as ports and airports mushroomed all over the country, including the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway.

The business process outsourcing (BPO) industry remained resilient despite the global recession with earnings of $6 billion and employment of 600,000, she said.

In the last four years, tourism almost doubled and is now a $5-billion industry, she said.

‘Living proofs’

Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said the personalities brought in by Mrs. Arroyo and asked to be acknwledged during her SONA were “living proofs” of the gains of the nation during her administration.

There was Gigi Gabiola, a former domestic worker in Dubai now working at the Department of Labor and Employment under the government’s emergency employment program.

Also presented during her SONA was Tarnati Dannawi, a Badjao trained in modern mariculture under the government’s food program that helped him earn P180,000 since last year.

“We will help more fisherfolk shift to fish farming with a budget of P1 billion,” she said.

Mrs. Arroyo presented two beneficiaries of her administration’s education initiatives.

One of them, Mylene Amerol-Macumbal, finished Accounting at the Mindanao State University before pursuing law. She placed second in the last bar exams, making her the first Muslim woman bar topnotcher.

In technical education and skills training, the government has invested three times that of three previous administrations combined, Mrs. Arroyo said as she presented Jennifer Silbor, who was taught medical transcriptions.

In reiterating her commitment to push the peace process in Mindanao and resuming talks with communist rebels, Mrs. Arroyo presented Leah de la Cruz, one of the 12,00 rebel returnees since last year.

Captured in 2006, De la Cruz is now involved in handicraft livelihood training of former rebels supported by the local government.

Legislative Agenda:‘More work to be done’

President Arroyo bared in her State of the Nation Address (SONA) yesterday several bills that she wants to see passed before her term ends next year. These include the following:

• The Philippine Transport Security Act, which seeks to create a Philippine Transport Security Authority as a law enforcement body, specifically for the areas of civil aviation, maritime, land and rail transportation.

• Amendment of the Public Service Law, which governs the telecommunications industry.

• Creation of a Department of Information and Communication Technology.

• Extension of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program for five years.

• Amendment of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas charter.

• New “sin taxes” to boost the capacity to reduce poverty and pursue growth.

• Passage of the proposed simplified net income tax system for the self-employed and professionals.

• Approval of a P1-billion budget to help fisherfolk engage in modern mariculture or fish farming.

I Lost It

I have this heart jewelry necklace before that I bought from a friend and now I think I lost it. That is one of those things that I treasured a lot because that was the very first jewelry I have when I saw Terry the first time. I already tried to look for it in the cabinet but I still could not find it, I think I have misplaced it somewhere.

And I doubt that our helper before took it even though she used it without our permission because my sister caught her off guard when she wear it. She gave it back to us, and I already wore it several times after that. I hope I could find it because I really like the heart shape of the pendant, it is simple but elegant, and I need to buy a necklace for that soon.

Lazy Butt

It is already 9:12 a.m. here in our place but I am still lying down in bed while writing this post, I supposed to get up already since Faith was already awake but I don't seem to have enough energy to get up, for two consecutive nights I slept like past 2:00 a.m. at all. Why? Because I am so hooked up of watching movies in You Tube, I already finished the Labor Pains of Lindsay Lohan now since the link that Terry gave me for the My Past Girlfriends Ghosts or My Girlfriend's Past Ghost? Or whatever was so dragging and so slow last night, so I ended up searching what movies to watch in You Tube again.

And look what I've found? It is the Hanah Montana, alright, alright! I know it is a teenager movie thing but the movie is so much fun and that you can't even resist not watching it. In the contrary I was not able to finish it last night because I was just too tired, you see I just have my cabinet repair and I was too busy buying some materials and stuff for it so they could finish right away. Now I am downloading the Hanah Montana again, I hope to finish this movie this morning

I Miss My Figure Before

I got big right after I deliver Faith and I have a hard time of getting back to my shape before until I resorted to a diet pill two months ago, plus I have done a lot of house chores here at home that helps me a lot to lose weight. But how I wish I could get back the shape that I was before, even after I deliver Mj because I still have my flabby belly that I need to get rid off I may have to exert my effort more.

Obviously, I miss my figure before, because I could still wear a small size of blouses and T-shirt and so sad that I could not wear them at all. Although my friends said that I look alright with what I am now but I really could feel the difference between before and now, because I can just choose a nice small dress right away unlike now, I have to look for a blouse that is loose so my tummy would not be too obvious.

Labor Pains

Finally, I was able to finish the movie Labor Pains of Lindsay Lohan last night in You Tube. I had a good laugh and fell in love with the story as well. It is about a girl who is desperately to stay as a secretary to her boss when he tried to fire her, she lied that she is p pregnant. But she made a promise that once she can find another job, she would get out a natural way, meaning she had to pretend she had a miscarriage and all that.

But when her boss took a vacation leaves, his nephew took over in a while and with one book that they have to publish, the two was developed at that.

Planning To Buy A New Toy For Our Faith

I have a very active toddler. She has a motor that will not run down. She keeps going and going and going. She enjoys playing with her sister who is 8 years old, but sometimes I think she would enjoy swing sets. I worry a bit that she may hurt herself because she seems never to get tired.

And I think a swing set would help her channel her energy and help her with her coordination. Not only would it be fun for her, it would be good for her. I love my little love bug and she deserves the best.

Mommy Moments : First Steps

Just yesterday, when I took a short nap before going to the mall, I was able to open my video gallery of my phone. And there she was my little love bug Faith's first step, so instead of a picture I would post a video of her on that day she was able to walk in 10 months as that.

Good thing, that I was able to scan a picture of Mj during one of her first steps, indeed the time flies very fast as what I mentioned to my other blog, sooner or later Mj would become a teenager while Faith would be going to school at all. And when Terry goes to work, I may be left alone at home waiting for my family to arrive.

How I wish to include my niece Mariel of the family I am portraying right now, when we migrate to US but sigh, her Mom won't allow me to adopt her, well who knows maybe someday we could still be together in one roof. Anyway, enough for this ranting let me share to you instead the video and the picture that I mentioned above.

Where Was I?

Alright, I'd been very busy a couple of days ago because Cheryl and I have to go to look for a company that sells special paper for wedding invitations but when we went to the location, we were not able to find the company, we ended up eating our lunch in the nearest restaurant. I tried to contact my sister as her business is to make wedding invitations but even her, doesn't know where is the new location of the Star Paper company here in our place.

We were so tired and so sleepy, and since we are already hopeless of finding that supplier, we went to the Jona's Crafty store so we could buy more beads for the holder of my wedding invitation. Cheryl is the one who made the holder, the owner of the store was very impressed of her creations although we need to improve that one more, more beads maybe and more glitters on the screen.

Terry knew that I am already worried with the invitations, so he sent me a link for more ideas of a rolling type wedding invitation. It was classic but I guess it is expensive. I might just copy the box, good thing that Kuya James was able to pull out an idea for the box that would fit for the paper that he would use for the print outs. I just need to finalize the entourage and the thoughts so we could start the sample, not to mention I still need to buy a tracing and the parchment for that.

So for now folks I need to get some rest because we need to wake up early in the morning tomorrow for school.

Are you familiar with the lyrics above? I am sure you do, this is one of my favorite song before and right here, right now since it was raining so hard, and the water pour down again from our roof through our floor and a while ago, we tried so hard to block the water to scatter around. We need more rags to absorb the water in the floor, our roof does not have a hole but I don't know how the water runs freely through the gutter and went inside our kitchen. When this unavoidable circumstances would happen, how I wish to just get a ride in a Caribbean cruise and forget this nasty incidents every time it rains.

About Home School

Yesterday, I was searching for a Home school and what is it all about. Well there are many facts I discovered and one of them was that, there are many kids who become academically advanced and become closed to the family. Home school is according to Wikipedia are the education of kids at home, usually with parents but sometimes with tutor and most childhood education occurred within the family or community.

In the US home schooling has been rooted, in fact there are ten presidents who were home schooled. In the Philippines it started just yet, and mostly kids are so inclined because the mother can focused on them only unlike with public or private schools, the teachers have to teach 40 or more students.

There are home schools already in the Philippines that are accredited to Department of Higher Education, it is so tempting to just home school Mj, aside from the fact that you could save money for it because the kids don't need to have an allowance at school, uniform and all that but I am not sure yet. I am still trying to gather some information about home school. Well maybe if we decide to live in US we will try it for 6 months with Mj for her to become used to her environment.

Review Time Again

Since their exam was postponed due to the kids getting sick at school, here we are again reviewing her lessons. Good thing that I just have to print the quizzes that I gave her last week, it store in the computer so I don't have to redo it again. So this moment it would be just a review from the previous review.

I am making a time table into which have to review first, their exam would be on Wednesday so I am organizing what to tackle first. She is doing well in Math and somehow in English especially in Filipino. She is still not good in Civics I bet she despises history but that is not a valid reason to just neglect the subject as that, she needs to be good in everything. How I wish I could prolong my patience now. God help me!

I Burst Out Laughing

I don't know what happen to the photographer of my dear friend Clarinda during her wedding that she took a lot of photos of me laughing so hard. I was just teasing Clarinda at this time, when she wears her wedding gown and made a glamorous pose for us. I didn't notice that when I was laughing, the photographer took a snap shot of me.

Lesson learned, if ever you would attend a wedding you should be cautious and watch out for the photographer so you could pose right away when he direct his camera on you! Lol

The Saga

The first time I read novels and books, was when I was in college. It was one of Sidney Sheldon's novels that I can't put that down; I was so into it that sometimes I could finish the whole story in three nights. And since he died from Pneumonia, and I guess I have read almost all his book, I switch to Danielle Steel then now the Twilight Saga, my niece and I are already in the Eclipse episode and we almost finish reading it.

But when I looked for the Breaking Dawn at the bookstore, they said that it was already sold out. I was stunned because it was like two weeks yet that we have seen that book in that store. We are desperate, good thing that I was able to search a website that selling books and one of their books are the Twilight Saga. Thank God!

Watching Bench Blackout Show

Yes, while I am writing my post here right now, I am also watching the Bench blackout show. I tell you, I have no plans on watching the said fashion show, but because I have to finish my pending task here. I am able to watch together with my sister, I never thought this could be such sexier, I never have been watch fashion show before and now I could tell, this is really something, all the models are so sexy.

I just watch Angelica Panganiban; she is just so natural and so amazingly sexy. I should say Derek Ramsay is so lucky to have her; they look good together though so I hope they will end up together. My sister Irenie went to the Doctor yesterday because she has to send her son to his Pediatrician due to his on and off fever. I told her that it is probably tonsillitis just like Mj's and the other kids in the neighborhood but she deprived the idea. Well, it was good idea though for her to send Yan2x to his Doctor at least she would know the exact medicines they have to buy for him.

When they went back home, she told me that I was right, Yan2x really had tonsillitis that is why his fever got back, she already bought medicines for him. When she was there, she was able to talk a lot of mother there whose kids had ailments too and one of those that they talked about, is the Kawasaki Disease. It is a rare diseases that attack kids less than 5 years old, I researched the disease in Google and this is what I found:

Kawasaki disease (also known as lymph node syndrome, mucocutaneous node disease, infantile polyarteritis and Kawasaki syndrome) is an inflammation (vasculitis) of the middle-sized arteries. It affects many organs, including the skin, mucous membranes, lymph nodes, and blood vessel walls, but the most serious effect is on the heart where it can cause severe aneurysmal dilations. Without treatment, mortality may approach 1%, usually within 6 weeks of onset. With treatment, mortality is <0.01% in the U.S.[1] There is often a pre-existing viral infection that may play some role in pathogenesis. The conjunctival and oral mucosa, along with the epidermis (skin), becomes erythmatous (red and inflammed). Edema is often seen in the hands and feet and the cervical lymph nodes are often enlarged. Also, some degree of fever is often noted. Twenty percent of children affected have cardiovascular sequelae.

Causes:

Like all autoimmune diseases, the cause of Kawasaki disease is presumably the interaction of genetic and environmental factors, possibly including an infection. The specific cause is unknown,[5][6][7] but current theories center primarily on immunological causes for the disease. One of our neighbors had a one kid who got this disease and mind you, one dosage was worth P100, 000.00 and they have to buy that at instant or else their son would be paralyzed. House Chores Exercise And The Diet Pill

I am not going out to the gym anymore instead I am doing a lot of house chores this past few days. And my friends were right; it is quiet effective when you move a lot around the house plus the diet pills I am taking at this very moment. Who would not lose weight?

I am so happy that I reach the goal of the weight that I worked so hard for, like Terry, I am closely of monitoring my weight and I can say that I am successful with what I was doing, the only thing that I really have to get rid off is my fats in my belly.

Maybe a walk every morning would help me losing fats in my belly, just like this morning, kids and I were out in the village to walk. I was sweating a lot, not to mention that I carried Faith almost the whole time we were walking, especially when it was about time to go home she doesn't want me to put her down. Thank God that the sun light really showed up this morning so we don't have to run for a shed just like what happen before because it rained so hard. The kids had snacks too; I was able to bring my wallet so they could buy something in the store. Mj was so thirsty on our way that we have to stop in the nearby store to buy a bottle of water. Life is indeed so good when you’re healthy, slim and when you go for a walk with your kids early in the morning.

I Was In Panic

I went to Mj school at lunch on Friday, the teacher approached me immediately and said that the periodical exam would be postponed because the kids had been sick and they are expecting that when the class resume, all kids could attend the class at all, at least 100 percent of it. She didn't though tell me that the school has a case of H1n1. I went to where Mj is seated and watch her while she writes, she said she did not take lunch yet because she has to finish the reminders from the board. Right after she took her lunch, she asked for a soft drink, in which I bought her one and a lollipop, she went to the classroom right away.

When I went home, our neighbor freaked out while calling me, she said that there's H1N1 case at school and that she will going to pull out her kid there at that very moment. I explained all the things that the teacher told me but she is so adamant and did not believe me at all, so they went and took her kids out in the classroom. I began to get panicked too and was not at ease until I decided to go back at school at 3:00 p.m. When I went there I saw my other neighbor and told me that there is nothing to worry about, the school just wanted precautions so they will suspend the class. We were talking at that and suddenly I saw Mj outside the classroom, I approached her immediately and asked her why was she outside the classroom, she answered she was send to the clinic because her fever got back and just went out to look at her classroom if they already started the classes.

I was then get worried and was already panicked, good thing that my friend, a neighbor as well helps me and said she would take good care of the things of Mj and offered her umbrella since it was raining already. She advised me to go the clinic so I would know what really happens, why her fever got back. When we arrives, the clinic was so crowded and we have to wait until the number 21 before they could serve us. We waited for hours, when the doctor finally checked her, he found out that Mj has a tonsillitis. I was relieved, it is only a tonsillitis, it was triggered because I let her drank a bottle of cola and bought her a lollipop, which is so sweet and was not allowed for her.

Thank God it is nothing at all!

Going to the mall over and over again is not my idea of fun. Not only are they crowded but I must pay their price for what I want. But for some items I have found that free online auctions offer more value for my dollar. I can normally get what I want at a better price.

All I have to do is log in and bid on the item I am looking for. Not only can I bid from the comfort of home, I get a thrill when mine is the winning bid.

It Is Just A Count Of Three

I am so exhausted, I really want to crawl to bed to sleep but I still have many things to do yet and one of those things, is to summarize all my expenses for today in Microsoft Excel, I'd been doing this thing for quite a while already so if you tell that it is probably more hassle and I am just wasting my time on writing every details of where did I spend my money, for me it is not because I can save more when I do that.

I could track all the expenses and where the money did goes, so every single centavo counts. Anyway, I have to go now folks; it has been a long day today even yesterday that I would be post it here what really happen to us when Mj was sent to the school clinic. So count with me now 1, 2 3 click! Goodnight everyone!

In A Tuxedo Or Not

One of my friends told me that one of the best suits for men to wear on a wedding is a tuxedo and of course it would be perfect when you wear a tuxedo shirt on it. Terry already bought a suit for our upcoming wedding it could have been advantage if he did not buy a suit yet so we could choose a tuxedo for him but he did so we have no choice but to get comfortable with it.

On the other hand, whatever formal suit he would wear on our wedding day doesn't matter at all to me, what important is that the wedding would be peaceful, everyone is happy and contented. And he could come and will wait for me in the altar while I walk down the aisle. With him in a tuxedo or not, for me he is the best groom I will ever have and the man that I have always been in love with.

Mommy Moments : Playing Time

Wow! The days ran so fast, it seems like yesterday that I posted the pout thing on Mommy Moments and now here we are once again, thinking what to write on today's theme, well it was not that hard to look for pictures for today's theme because there are tons to show off their playing time.

The pictures made me smile simply because they were just having a fun time to picked up toys in the Wonderland, they could also interact with other kids there. Mj is really taking care of Faith seriously even that means she can't play that much at all because Faith was there to watch for. She is not complaining at all because she knows that along those toys there is one person to be prioritized first and that is her little sister Faith. She let Faith join to play with some friends she made up there though and I am really so proud that this two little girls of mine are so close and so sweet to each other.

Today's theme really brighten my day, since yesterday was totally a little disastrous because of what happen at school that I have to send Mj that instant in the hospital to make sure that everything is okay.

Terry Is Now Playing Golf

Since he doesn't have enough time to exercise in treadmills every day, though he is trying very hard to at least use it once a week, he still thinks of something else that would help him reduce and to play golf once again would be best for him.

He told me about this a week before he played golf with his friends and he had fun. Though he had a small injuries like back pains, he still fine. They rested for one week then they would play again on Saturday. I am just so happy that besides work and home to chat with us, he is now going out with his friends to do something else that would help them to lose weight especially that his blood pressure is quiet high.

Mini Office

Yes, I am making a mini office here in the house, where my other computer placed, since Sister Irenie slowly got her things to transfer for her store. I am taking advantage to arrange the stuff of our table like folders and files. Not to mention that I got all those receipts from my insurance and receipts for our house. I gather all those stuff so I have back up in case the insurance office will deny that I paid on date.

Anyway, I have to go now for I have to go to Mariel's school to pay her tuition fee, I already paid Mj's tuition fee yesterday, she had asked by her teacher to go back home because her fever just got high. Good thing I was there to fetch her. They were so careful of kids get sick since the virus just spread so easily and fast though they made sure that everything still manageable and it was not that serious.

A Dream Vacation

What is your dream vacation? For me, it would be to take my family on a Caribbean cruise. I know that they would love it, especially the kids. As for Terry and I well, it would certainly be romantic. Carnival Cruise Lines has so many destinations to choose from.

I have ridden in an air plane, but never on a cruise ship. A ferry is just not the same. The idea of a private room for me and my family would really be special to me. Just thinking of a stop in Bermuda, Mexico, Puerto Rico or other ports of call in the Caribbean just makes me smile. What do you think of my dream vacation? Doesn’t a Caribbean cruise sound special for those you love?

This Video Made My Eyes Wide Open

I supposed to post this morning when I've seen this video in the TV last night and this morning in Mommy Rose Blog. But we had to run to the mall early to watch movie Ice Age which I would post my review on Mary Anne's Musings Blog just a little while.

Meanwhile let me just share this cute little babies on skater, they look so funny and Faith and my family really like the show, we had a good laugh while watching it. This made my eyes wide open not to mention that I really don't have enough sleep last night for I was eager to finish the book that fast, but since I was just half in that book yet when I left it last time, it would be impossible for me to finish it last night.

Forgive Me Oh God

I know I've done something wrong again today and it really pisses me off, I am doing my best to hold my temper Oh Lord. But sometimes I just can't I just let it flow until I hurt the person I love and cared so much.

I am bleeding in pain and how I wish I can act real fast to heal the wound I just created. But how could I heal the wound when the damaged has been done? When the words were already too much, and the emotion is overpowering that I can't bear at all, I am becoming baseless and naive. I hope to see things carefully, I hope to know what's the best thing to do just to make it right, and be calm when everything did not turn out right, I hope not to freak out when this person can't meet my expectations, I am doing the best I can to understand why it has to be that way while I am trying to spoon feed of the things that I know.

I hope this person would forgive me somehow, I hope this person realizes that what I've done and why I am reacting that much is because I want her to do good and more. Even though I am already becoming pointless of my reactions but I am just a person who loves that person so much so she could get through her dreams in life.

The video below was when she was yet two months old and I asked her Ate Mariel to watch after her in our bed while I was busy doing laundry. Suddenly I heard my little monster cry from the bedroom, I hurriedly went inside to check what happen. You know why she cried? It is because Mariel was teasing her to cry and video taped her, she did not stop and went more, Terry came up with the idea that Mariel is a no pasalubong girl when he would come to visit, until now he keep on teasing that to Mariel, even Mariel already tried so hard to make Faith laugh and video tape her with her smiles and giggles. Anyway, that was only a joke whenever Terry is here, he never forget Mariel to buy her own stuff too as a gift.

I Already Finished It

Yes I finally read and finished the book New Moon, but the story was so hanging that you really need to go and read the Eclipse, well Mariel bought one for it so I won't have a problem with that only my time could tell when I could read that.

I feel for Jake though, he hopes a lot that Bella and him would end up together, but oh well life really sucks sometimes, it will not just go with the way we want it to, and it always passes us by. I am not that in love with the story though, it does not have enough thrilling and suspense unlike the Twilight, except when they went toVolturi to save Edward from committing suicide, there was a lot of vampires surrounded Bella, although Edward was around to protect always her from them but to think that they were a lot and they were only three (Edward, Bella and Alice) who will not doubts that they could still get out from that most dangerous bizarre , they can just get out with one promise and that is to make Bella a vampire although not at that time yet but in the future because they don't want somebody as mortal as Bella to know that they exist.

Although Bella like the idea a lot but Edward protested, he still want Bella to stay human, thinking it will be hard for her to fight the temptation of a blood and could not resist it after all, they just need to be sure that they could block the tracker so they could not find Bella in forks and for them not to know that they did not keep their promise.

I wonder what the big screen store for the audience; I am sure they will change some scenes in the book and let the James Girlfriend meets with Bella, to become more thrilling and suspense.

I Woke Up In The Middle Of The Night

Faith has been very extra active this day, she didn't even went to take a nap this afternoon though I tried so hard to let her fell asleep unfortunately she stayed wide awake. So I expect her to sleep right away and will be out to her dream land throughout the night and yes I was right she did sleep so early, I was also out since I'd been taking good care of her the whole day, watching closely after her being so super hyper active so she will not have accidents, not to mention that she had a little accident this morning because of her being so outrageous active behavior.

When the clocks started to strike at 12:00 a.m. she began to mimic and keep on scratching her back or neck, I tapped her butt expecting her to sleep, she would close her eyes a little while and will whine afterwards, so I got up to change her clothes and diaper as I thought that would were the causes why she can't sleep but I already change her and all that but never she went back to sleep. And now while I am awake she is beside me, trying to bug her two Ate who is sleeping right at this moment, I already turn the aircon on but still she keep her eyes open. Urgh!

Low Bat!

It was raining so hard last night here in our place; I could hear the thunder so loud from the living room. The kids were sleeping already but somehow I believe that Faith would wake up soon because of the rain and the thunder. I was not wrong, after the consecutive number of thunder; I could hear her whining and cry in the bedroom.

As I thought I could still make her fall asleep that fast, I set aside the laptop and have Terry wait for me online, it was like how many hours that Faith was restless and I was not able to go back. She keeps on bugging her sister Mj that after a while she woke up too, Faith keeps on kissing her on her cheek and wanted her to carry her while singing the lullaby song. Good thing Mj understands and got up carrying Faith and swinging her in her arms afterwards, I watched them in a while and ask Faith to let Ate Mj sleep because she had to go to school by tomorrow. She doesn't want to let go at first but I grab her so she doesn't have any choice.

Faith was restless, she cannot sleep with the roar of the thunder, she made me awake for so many hours. The reason why I am so exhausted and tired today, so sleepy but I have to move and get on my feet because I have to bring Mj her lunch. She left her pack lunch this morning because the carpool already arrived and the rice was not cooked yet.

Sister Needs To Get Fit

Unfortunately, like me my sister is also having problem with her diet and now that she is going to be my Matron of Honor she is doing her best to get slimmer, she even asked me what pills to take. My Two College Friends

Several years ago, during my first year step in college, my first class period I met two friends along the hallway, they were waiting for the last class to finish so they could get inside the classroom. While waiting as it was also my first period, I came to join in their conversation and asked their name was, eventually we became friends and had settled to sit beside each one in the middle row.

After a year, other two friends were introduced; from then on we had been hardly separated until we graduated in college. The group was stable and bounded, though it has been so many years that past, our memories still there and we intend to keep until the end of time.

On Our Way To My Friend's House

Mariel didn't want to come with us at my friend's house because she doesn't like the idea of riding a bus going there, she was sure that she would feel dizzy and she would probably throw up, so we decided for her to just follow us when we get back to downtown.

On our way there, my other friend Tim2x sent me a message that she will just go with us going Janeth's house, we will no longer fetch them in her house, I was confused all so sudden because the way going there is not familiar to me at all, she said she will just wait for me beside the highway and we will just tell the driver of the bus to stop for her. I was really not sure which mark she would wait so for me to ensure the sketch she told me, I just hired a taxi cab to go to Janeth's house and so I could have a better view of Tim2x and her daughter on the street.

So while the taxi is in motion I took the chance to capture the moment with my eldest daughter Mj.

She Promised Herself

We went to search for my giveaways design on Friday with my friend Cheryl. We came up with something that is useful but we still have to see if that would look good, we also went to look what would be my invitation card looks like and bought some materials for it, we will make a variety of design, and we will choose what design would I prefer to.

Right after we search things for my wedding, we also went to appliances department. My friend Cheryl made a promise to herself that she would buy something, she and her family could enjoy for and something that is necessary for their house, she prefers to buy an audio racks for their TV on the next payday, in which I agree with her. It is better to spend your money for investment to your house; at least you could see your effort in working so hard, than to spend it to useless hobby. I was also looking for a corner cabinet for my miniatures and picture frames and I am planning to buy it really soon.

Mommy Moments: Encounter With Pets or Animals

Well, we have fish at home and every time Faith would pass by to our aquarium that is place in our laundry area, she would say "sshhh ssshhh" meaning Fish. Unfortunately I was not able to capture a picture pointing her with the fish in the aquarium.

Meanwhile, we have pictures here when we went to the Crocodile Park here in our place, first was during Mj's school field trip last year, I really wanted her to pose with the snake on her neck, don't get me wrong, there is this guy who is taking good care of the snake and was beside us during that time. But every time I insist Mj to pose for a while, she would run away. So for the sake of souvenirs of that snake I asked her to take me a picture instead with a snake on my neck while she enjoys herself with the snake nearby that doesn't move at all.

The second pictures was during the birthday of my Mom's friends, they invited us and we went to crocodile park again, Mariel my niece was so eager to take a captured moment with a snake with my friend Cheryl, Mj is again nowhere to be found, she really don't like snakes.

Third was when we were in Malagos, a park where you could find a variety of eagles inside the big cage, Faith was with us during that time, so when we got home at that day I was really drained. She keeps on running back and forth in the park and was so amazed with all the animals she saw.

So Lazy

I supposed to do house chores and clean the house this morning, but the only one thing that is worthwhile and the bare existence that I was here at home is to do and fix lunch this afternoon and that was it.

I supposed to sleep too or take a nap at least to catch my sleepless nights I had but even that, I was not able to do so, the book I am reading is so tempting that it is hardly to put down. I just stopped now because I helped Mj review her lessons since tomorrow would be a quiz day at school.

My eyes are already half closed but I have to finish the New Moon book so I could go over with the Eclipse, and since those three episodes was not give me any satisfaction I am already planning to buy the breaking dawn.

I Feel Very Old

I feel like I am already old for not being very active and joining any social gathering of my friends, I think I may need seat lifts every time I would ride a taxi cab, because I feel bored with my daily routine, no spices, and no hang out with friends, no life at all. Except when I am out of the house to prepare for our upcoming wedding, I already made a final list for the entourage and already sent it to the owner who will do my entourage gown. In some way that helps me set away my boredom at home and when Terry will come to chat with me every morning. And Faith's laugh sometimes although, mostly, she like to touch everything in the house and put it in her mouth, that made me always pissed off and worried that she might get catch a virus from those things.

I looked forward for Saturday because my long lost friends would come to see me; her daughter is one of my flower girls, so that includes my itinerary for the day. I am sure we would have a lot of fun because it's been like how many years that we haven't seen each other. The Ninja Turtles will going to have a reunion once again although we will not be complete because the other one will have work on that day and the other one is in Michigan right now.
