Will Be Heading To A Friend's House

Yes, that is after we are done paying with my house loan, I will take the kids with me since my Sister Merlyn is not here yet. They might going to stay in Cebu for a while, I am already absent with our swimming lesson and aerobics session for almost two weeks now. Sigh!

I supposed to meet Analee and her husband last night but duh! I didn't know that there was a transport strike yesterday and almost 95% percent in the city was being paralyzed and it might hard for me to take any transport vehicles going back. I wanted to go though but aside from the transport strike yesterday, I was really so tired.

But today, we will go to a friend's house to teach her how to get into blogging; Mj will get to see her ninang again and perhaps asked her with the pending gift last Christmas. Hehehe

Drifters Apartel

Right after we went back to Davao from Manila, we stayed at Drifters Apartel Davao; it is located in Lanang at Nova Tiera Village. The place was awesome not to mention that the price of their rooms were fine, they have the very low rates ever.

Their rooms are all cozy and spacious with all fully air conditioned and furnished in bamboo furniture. Their bathrooms are wide with a hot and cold shower. What I mostly like when we stayed there was they have an Internet connections in all rooms, so since Terry brought his laptop, we were able to use it inside our room.

Our room was fronting the swimming pool so the kids will just go there and swim whenever they like to and of course with our presence and permission. They also got picnic tables at their pool side so if you like to order a food you might want to take your meal in your room or in picnic table.

Playing Together

I am just so lucky to have these kids, they don't treat each other as rivals, in fact they love each other too much especially Ate Mj. When Faith was born she was the one who tell our friends and neighbors that I would deliver her little sister soon. She was too excited and never felt jealous of Faith.

She helps me taking good care of Faith, she looks after her baby sister very well although sometimes Mj is busy doing something and Faith got hurt just like last night, they were playing a peek a boo in the bed room and unknowingly Faith fell down from the bed, good thing she did not hurt that much because there were pillows and blanket fell down with her. She cried though because she was frightened. Mj was fixing her blanket in her head the reason why she did not see Faith went to the edge of the bed, put the blanket in her face ready to peek a boo. I was doing something in the kitchen that I heard Faith's cry, I ran as fast as I could to check what happen.

I was so worried but I guess that's part of their growing that even how we protect our kids from hurts and pains, for them to learn they have to undergo such things so they will not do it again.

The Fresh Tilapia

Tilapia fish is the most common fish that we saw in the wet market, aside from its natural sweetness and delicious meat, it is also the most affordable fish you could ever find in the market.

But don't you know that tilapia like other fish is best when it is fresh. You should use your eyes, your nose, your fingers to personally check the quality of what you buy. It's the only way to know what you're paying for and control the food you serve on your table.

Use your Eyes:

  • You will know when Tilapia is fresh when their eyes are clear and bulge a little, if it is gray or cloudy, don't buy it.
  • Its color should look shiny and gleaming. The color should be even, check for darkening or discoloration. Flip the fish in your hand like the base of the body near the tail and under the fins. Examine all sides and edges.
  • The Gills. It is at the base of the face, lift it and look for a bright red color. Check for some slime or discharge.
  • The skin should be whole too, unpierced and no cut or breaks. Don't ever buy fish that has been sliced- it deteriorates faster unless it is vaccum packed. Some vendors also sliced old fish into fillets just to salvage some of its meat. Those cuts may be cheaper, but you'll taste the difference.
Use your Fingers

  • The skin should feel firm, and bounce back after you press on it.
  • Walk away if detect sliminess, especially under the gills.
  • Check for freezer burn - that roughness after the meat has been frozen, thawed, and frozen again.
Use your Nose

  • The fresh Tilapia has a mild smell. Don't buy if you smell something sharp and strong, like ammonia.
  • Better to buy fish the moment your arrive because our sense of smell easily gets acclimatized.
  • Close your eyes when you smell the fish. You get to concentrate on the odor plus, the body will compensate for the temporary loss of sense of sight by enhancing your sense of smell.

Friendship And The Best Blogger Award

It is so nice to wake up each morning when someone greeted you with warm smile; I always have this every morning with Terry, my day starts always with him.

When I woke up this morning, I was rushing to open my lap top, it is already late and I am sure Terry is already waiting for me while I finally chatting with him, a message arrives in my e-mail saying I just got an award. Hence, I thank Mommy Gen of Wonderful Things in Life for greeting me with an award in a sunny Sunday morning.

Rules:
1. Take your award here.
2. Put the logo on your post.
3. Link the person who awarded you.
4. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
5. Add links to those blogs on yours.
6. Leave a messages for your nominees on their blog.

Now let me point my wand to the following friends I made here:

Here, There Whatever, Beautiful Life, Lily of the Valley, Pinay Mommy Online, Schizoshrink, Rosa Love's, and Pretty Life Online.

She Can Communicate Just Fine

Unlike before, when Ate Mj communicates with Terry she only uses sign language so she could deliver what she wanted to say to her Daddy every time he took his vacation with us. But now I noticed she can communicate to him at all, well there are some words needed to correct but it is just fine at least she is not using her hands now. Lol

If I have let her use my computer I guess she prefers to be the one to write her daily activities on her blog but due to some reasons like she might be exposed in too much games or she would be like me, sitting for hours and hours in the computer I rather do it my own. Anyway I would allow her when she reaches the right age.

If Terry would be here for long, I guess Ate Mj would learn to speak English perfectly even we don't teach her, she is a good observant and she is very determined to use it even at first it is more likely a not so nice English.

Faith And Honey In The Pool

This is one of my favorite among those videos we took when Terry was here, it was early in the morning while Ate Mj and Ate Mariel was sleeping yet that Terry soaked Faith in the pool. It was his promised to her that before he would go back to the US, he will go to the pool with Faith since she cannot go swim with Ate Mj and Kuya Dodong.

Faith was a bit scared when Daddy tried to let her in the pool, maybe she thought he would let her go. Nah! Daddy will never do that. She was a bit cold too so you can see her mouth was shaking to try not to be feeling cold she tried to make beautiful eyes.

Mommy Moments-Daddy

mommy moments

Sorry guys for posting this late, when I entered my url last night for Mommy Moments I was really so sleepy that I can't type anymore, my fingers slipped and almost bang my head in the table.

Anyway, I just love the theme today because my kids just had their bonding moment with Daddy when he was here. Each day we spent with Terry was full of fun and no dull moments at all even he was a little bit sick yet he made sure that he spent his once in a while vacation with me and the kids.

Thinking To Buy A Double Deck Bed

Our bed here at home could only be fit by two persons or three persons when Mariel and Mj were still little. But now since Mariel is already a teenager and Mj is almost half my size and with Faith along with us, geez we can't fit at all in our bed especially when Faith is occupying the most space in our bed that sometimes I lay down vertical to them and I'll just put my feet over their feet so I can fit and sleep.

Faith had her crib emptied since she like to sleep with us, she can sleep straight through out the night whenever she is beside us, so what else can I do but to fit in that simple and oh so tiny bed of ours.

I am thinking to buy another bed and I am still looking for a very affordable but nice bed in store, I may needed more time and budget to buy that double deck bed, so I will not wake up in the middle of the night being smashed by these kids. Tsk, tsk, tsk

I Never Felt This Good

I took a nap yesterday and asked my sister to wake me up at 4:30 p.m. so I could prepare for work out. Yes, I decided to go even I was alone, I mean this is it! I would try my best to go back in shape.

I thought I would be exhausted that easy but I was not, in fact I still have the energy to go shopping right after the aerobics work out. I was not able to grocery shop the other day so to use up the rest of my time since the mall beside the gym was still open for how many minutes; I hurriedly went inside and picked up those items we could use at home.

Later this afternoon, we will do it again, this time, I will be with a friend who is also very eager to loose weight. So I must rest awhile before going out.

Ciao!

To Go Or Not To Go

I am very determined to loose weight or at least flatten my tummy nowadays after the long vacation with Terry. I am planning to go to the gym later with a friend she also would like to loose weight since she would be going in Singapore by next month to work.

But she just message me a while ago that she cannot go with me because she would be busy for some stuff, now I am confused if I would go or not I would not have any company and that is too boring to follow the steps that the instructor wanted us to do.

Anyway, the work out would be later this afternoon I have the whole day today to decide and I must say I better get some sleep now so if ever I will decide to go I have the energy to make the moves and grooves in the work out.

Wow it was captivated well

While thinking where to go in Manila when Terry and I were still planning to go there yet, I was able to browse Twerlyn's Hapi Family blog containing their fun time at Ocean Park. That gave me idea what else to do and where to go while staying there. We were planning to stay there for only two days so we got to use every minute of going places where the kids would enjoy too.

On the day we arrive at the hotel I phoned my friend immediately and asked her if she could accompany us in Ocean Park. After dinner we headed to the place with her sister, we had so much fun; we were able to see different fishes and sharks too. The flash is not allowed when you use your camera but since we went there at night time and no guard was around, my friend set the camera and there we goes, almost of our pictures were clear.

Dine With Friends

When we arrived in Manila I called my friend Mabel immediately to meet us at the Hotel we were staying. That time she was with her sister, assisting her with the documents they have to settle with in the Embassy. The Hotel we stayed was along M.H. Del Pilar corner Alquiza St., in Ermita and it is near where the Embassy is located.

When they were done with the papers in Embassy, they went immediately to the Hotel. We invited them for dinner in Best Western Restaurant, although the dinner was served way too long we still patiently waited for it. We made ourselves busy talking while Faith was trying to mess up, walking or making noise in the restaurant.

We already waited for almost an hour when we discover the buzz we have to press whenever we have to follow up our order. We find it very interesting, when we buzz it, the waiter suddenly approach us and told us that our order will be ready in a moment or two.

Pictures At The Airport

Our first trip together.

Our plan has changed so instead of us going in Manila alone, we decided to take the kids with us. I was so excited of this trip; the kids would have their first experience in boarding a plane and first time to go to Manila as well.

The pictures below were the best remembrance ever; I would always keep it in my heart.

Sister's Business

It has been a long while that Sister Irenie runs a printing business services. That explains of so many papers and paraphernalia for printing at home.

She got a machine for stencils and lamination for identification cards and the like. She also has custom rubber stamps like numbering machines and daters. Whenever her clients rushed her to finish that stuff, expect her to be busy in the kitchen, stamping and numbering the invoices.

I hope her business would progress more so she could purchase a machine for printing invoices or receipts, in that way it would be easier, convenient and faster for her to finish and deliver the product.

Bagobo Hotel

After three days of staying in the Apo View Hotel we transferred at Bagobo Hotel near South Gaisano in Gov., Duterte St. The hotel is not as luxuriant as the Apo View, it is a simple hotel where you could stay with affordable price. We needed two bedrooms and if we took two rooms in Apo View Hotel that would be too much already, so for us to lay aside some of the money for other expenses, we transferred to Bagobo Hotel and rented two rooms. One for the kids and one for us.

I thought I would have problem with heating a water for Faith's milk, In Apo View Hotel they had a heating pot in which we could use in heating water whenever I prepare her milk. In Bagobo Hotel hot water is already provided, we only have to request for it. The room is not as big as the Apo View or glamorous like some other hotel on the contrary if you are just looking for a place to stay while your in Davao, I guess Bagobo Hotel is alright.

Futhermore, Bagobo Hotel is located in the city near to any business centers and mall. Here are some of our pictures:

All In One

Our bedroom is so tight now that I had my built in cabinet installed last year. So I have to get rid of those things that are not necessary inside our bedroom. But there was one thing that I don't like to take it outside, a basket where we put our dirty clothes or laundry hamper and a laundry cart.

My friend suggested a caddy where I could use as a laundry hamper and a laundry cart rolled into one. As I was browsing a while ago, I chanced up to open a website, exactly what I am needing to now. It is a portable laundry storage which is very convenient to use, I have to tell Terry on this one when he arrive at his place.

Dad's First Arrival On April 06, '09

Since Terry would arrived as early as 6:00 a.m. on April 06, 2009 and we agreed to fetch him up together with the kids, so to come on time we checked in the Apo View Hotel on April 05. Faith was so happy when we entered the hotel, she was jumping and running around in the room, she seems so fascinated with the place.

We arrived at the airport at 6:00 a.m. we saw Terry getting his luggage, when he went out he hug the kids immediately. We took breakfast in the hotel then we headed in the SM. Faith seems so delighted that Daddy came to visit. We just had so much fun when he was here.

I Thought So

Terry once again bade goodbye to go back in Maryland tonight, I thought I am used to send him to the airport and won't be able to drop a tear at all. But I was wrong because the moment he stoop inside my tears just rolled by from my eyes.

He keeps on telling me not to cry, he would be back soon anyway. But I just can't hide the sadness I felt, he will leave us again. I know he is sad also, leaving his family but we got no choice we have to deal with it. I miss him terribly even he just left two hours ago.

He just arrived on April 5, I have the kids this time to fetch him in the airport. Faith was roaming and walking around while waiting his Dad. Then I saw him getting his luggage and after a while heading to the door where we waited. He did not saw us but he saw Mj waving at him while saying Daddy! He kissed her immediately then hug Faith afterwards, he carried her while riding in the van going to the hotel.

We held hands while he let Faith sat on his lap. We were so happy. We were complete once again.

First Time In The Plane

Ooopsss, not me but Mj.

Mj was so excited to ride in the plane, she said she would be able to see little images under the plane when we are flying. She said she saw the house and her cousin Yanyan playing outside. She said she saw Davao's SM mall and other things. We were far past Catalunan Pequeno when she said she saw these things but it was okay it was her first time. We had a little turbulence on landing in Manila and she was a little afraid but she really enjoyed the flight.

On the return flight home she wanted again to sit by the window but instead we asked her to sit in the middle seat and let her little sister have the window seat. Faith was very noisy on the flight and kept on trying to climb out the window and onto the wing. Unfortunately for her and fortunately for mom and dad the window kept her in.

Mj was well behaved on our trip to Manila but her sister is a different story for a different post.

She Throw Up In The Plane

Faith made us so busy when we were there in Manila and even more busy when we boarded in the plane going back to Davao yesterday.

She was so noisy then wanted to climb in the window! I pointed her clouds outside and she wanted to get it. She keeps on transferring from her father's lap then to Ate Mj and to me. She was even biting the seats and calling anyone around her.

The passenger laughs when Faith greeted her "Hi" She gets fussy all so sudden and voila she throws up! When we landed in the airport and headed to the hotel she fell asleep in the taxi cab until we arrived at place where we are staying. She slept for hours that we had our lunch at 4:00 p.m.

Friends Like Them

I got friends who are gays and I don't have any problem with that. When I was still searching for a job way back when I was just graduated, I got a friend from a neighborhood whose at that time taking his vacation.

He loves to travel and the last time I heard from him is he gone in the U.S. to work. And one of our friends told me that he went to different states already using a certain website for gay travel and he had a lot of fun exploring the world with his friend.

We're So Happy

Got the Legal Capacity just this morning!

Faith got so fussy last night whenever I put her to the crib that the hotel gave us. So I have to pick her up and swung her a little but the moment I placed her back to her crib she would cry so hard, so Terry brought her to our bed even we have to move to the sides because Faith occupied the most space.

We woke up this morning so droopy still, I washed Faith's feeding bottle while Terry tried to take Faith to the shower, she cried so loud again. While wondering why Faith doesn’t like the water this time, I got her from her father and dance her a little bit.

She slept in my shoulder then after a while I join her to our bed besides it was only 7:00 a.m. at that time yet so we still had time to take a nap for 30 minutes perhaps. Terry watched T.V and forgot the time as well, I woke up at almost 9:00 a.m.

I hurriedly woke up Mj and told her to take a shower right after Terry finished his shower. We took breakfast in just a flash! We arrive at the embassy passed 10:00 a.m. already the girl in the window L said we were late when Terry asked her to inquire on how to get the Legal Capacity, good thing I guess with Terry's charm when he talks to the girl, the lady went on to process his documents. The couple ahead of us had to ask him what he did to get the necessary form to fill up. Terry answered them we just went to the window L and inquire, their number is way too far yet and the window L is already closed since the schedule of getting the Legal Capacity is only from 7:00 a.m. until ten a.m.

When Terry submitted the form the guy went with him and asked the lady of his form for the Capacity. I guess they were able to make it this time since they were there to get it from yesterday.

I thought we were not able to get it today but when I saw Terry's approval sign from the inside the office, I smiled so wide.

Before It's Too Late

Mesothelioma is a serious disease of the respiratory system caused by exposure to asbestos. In the United States Mesothelioma has been on the decline since it is no longer used for lagging on U.S. Navy ships and the building industry. The Navy went initiated a vigorous removal campaign in the 1970-80s,

When mesothelioma has been diagnosed, the cancers are widespread and life expectancy has been as little as one year. The disease is rare in those under 55 years old and most cases are in men aged 65 and older. It affects five times more men then women.

If you have been exposed to asbestos or have a friend or loved on who has, make sure they get checked for Mesothelioma before it’s too late.

Honey Is Here Finally!

Yup, that's the reason why I was not here this past few days because Terry is here finally! We checked in the Apo View hotel on Sunday for we have to fetch Honey as early as 6:00 a.m. on the next day.

So folks have fun this easter and may you hunt as many eggs as you want and share me some! Hehehe

Great Opportunity

My sweetheart’s lives in Florida about an hour from Orlando. This is a great opportunity of us not only because my in-laws live in Florida but also they live only an hour from Orlando.

I am looking forward to experiencing an Orlando theme Park vacation with MJ and Faith and their cousins. It will be a great time for us all. We can see Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studies. I hope to blog about our Orlando vacations experience soon.

Taken

Certainly, I believe all of you are familiar with the movie "Taken." and I am sure enough you all enjoyed the movie as well, can you believe I've watch the movie three times at home and guess what? I still want to watch that over and over again.

I know you also would like to review the movie otherwise if you haven't watch it, anyway if you haven't watch the movie because you don't have enough time and being busy at work is eating you up, well you might want to read the synopsis here.

Bryan (Liam Neeson) has retired from the Agency to live full-time in the US to be near his beloved 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). Kim lives in luxury with her mother Lenore (Famke Janssen) and the mother's wealthy new husband Stuart (Xander Berkeley). Bryan picks up some quick cash working security with some old CIA buddies escorting a local female rock star to a nearby concert. Before the concert, Bryan asks Sheera (Holly Vance) for his daughter, an aspiring singer. Sheera answers "don't become one." Bryan earns his money as he saves Sheera from a murderous fan.

Bryan is failing to rebuild his relationship with Kim due to Lenore's sabotage and Stuart's upstaging of Bryan. So Bryan is ecstatic to be invited to lunch with Kim, just the two of them. Right. Lenore is also there and it is made plain he was only invited to sign the parental consent Kim needs to take a vacation in Paris with just her friend Amanda (Katie Cassidy). Bryan is reluctant to agree, knowing of the dangers of the wrong parts of Paris, but Kim explains she'll be staying with Amanda's cousins and spend most of her time in museums. Bryan says he will consider the matter which Kim takes as a no. Thus Kim is wonderfully surprised when Bryan later shows up at Stuart's home with the signed consent, an international cell phone, and some conditions. Bryan must take her to the airport. She is to call him when she lands in Paris. She is to call him every night and tell him the address and phone number of any new place at which she will be sleeping. At the airport Bryan sees a map of Europe with several cities circled in a pocket of Kim's luggage. He confronts Lenore who tells him the girls are going to follow U2's European tour, not just stay in Paris. Bryan is angry but it is too late to do anything about it. Standing in the line for taxis outside the French airport, the two teens meet a friendly, handsome young European named Peter (Nicolas Giraud). He suggests they all share a taxi for the expensive ride to Paris. Amanda immediately accepts and Kim agrees. While they wait, they have Peter take their picture with Kim's phone. Chivalrous Peter has the taxi drop the girls off first. He invites them to a party that very night. Amanda agrees and brags about staying at her cousin's flat. It takes up the entire fifth floor and the girls will have it all to themselves. Kim uneasily asks where the cousins are and Amanda breezily announces the cousins are on vacation in Spain. As the taxi pulls away, Peter makes a quick phone call--he simply says 2 and the address of the apartment. As they enter the apartment, Amanda is exclaiming about how hot Peter is and doesn't Kim want to sleep with him. Kim tells Amanda she is a virgin. Amanda says there isn't a better place than Paris to lose her virginity.

Back in the US, Bryan checks the arrival information and finds out Kim has already landed. Amanda has cranked the music in the apartment to such a volume that neither girl hears Kim's phone ring when Bryan calls. Finally, Bryan gets a hold of Kim. While they talk, Kim can see Amanda across the courtyard. She sees two men grab Amanda and carry her bodily away from view while Amanda kicks and fights. Kim tells Bryan who immediately takes control and orders her to go into the nearest bedroom and hide under the bed. He asks how many men she saw and she thinks four. He tells her she will be taken and she must scream out any description of them she can. Bryan hooks up a tape recorder to his phone. Two men enter the bedroom and are puzzled they haven't found the second girl. They converse in a foreign language. Bryan tells Kim to hold the phone towards the men so he can hear their conversation. Kim is snatched from under the bed. Bryan hears her voice for a few more seconds, then, after a moment of quiet, Bryan hears heavy breathing. Bryan tells the kidnapper he doesn't have any money but that he has the skills to track them down. Either release his daughter unharmed or he will kill them. The kidnapper responds with an accented "good luck" and smashes Kim's phone.

Bryan sends the taped conversation to a contact that identifies the language as Albanian and even narrows it down to one particular area of Albania. Bryan gets another CIA buddy to give him the scoop on Albanians in Paris--bad news--they are white slavers and Bryan has at most 96 hours before Kim will disappear forever. Bryan storms over to Stuart's and confronts him about possible business enemies of Stuart arranging Kim's kidnapping. Stuart and Lenore are surprised about how much of Stuart's business Bryan knows. Satisfied with Stuart's answers, Bryan tells Stuart he needs a jet to Paris now.

Under the eye of Jean-Claude, a former operative now deputy director of Internal Security, Bryan locates the kidnappers. Bryan first gains access to the apartment of Amanda's cousins. Bryan rescues the digital photos from the smashed remains of Kim's phone. He finds a reflection of Peter in the photo Peter took of the girls outside the airport. Bryan returns to the airport and assaults Peter. Unfortunately, Peter has a partner who attacks Bryan. Peter runs away. Bryan disposes of the partner and gives chase. Peter runs into traffic and is killed while the partner disappears. Bryan locates an area controlled by the Albanians. Bryan hires an Albanian translator and drives him to that area. Bryan leaves the translator in the care and starts window shopping with the street walkers. Their Albanian pimp roughs up the unprotesting Bryan and takes twice the prostitute's normal fee from him. The pimp is unaware that Bryan has planted a listening device on him. Bryan has the translator listen to the bug from his car and translate the pimp's conversations. They talk about having trouble with some new merchandise at a nearby construction site. Bryan excuses the translator after getting the Albanian-English dictionary Bryan had asked him to bring.

At the construction site, there is a long line of men waiting to get into a trailer. Bryan acts like a customer and joins the line. When Bryan reaches the head of the line, he hands the "doorman" his money and receives a scrap of paper with a single digit on it. Inside the trailer ropes have been strung with blankets draped over them to form rooms on either side of a center aisle. As he walks down the aisle he sees each "room" has a sign with a number on it. He enters the 'room" that matches his number and finds a cot with a stoned woman lying on it. She isn't Kim. She beckons him to come to her, but instead he starts pulling blankets aside to check the other "rooms". Since each room has a customer, this invasion of privacy starts a ruckus. Bryan has to deal with a couple bouncers as he makes his way a long the length of the trailer. In the last room, he finds Kim--no, wait, it is another woman with similar hair wearing the jacket Kim wore to the airport. Bryan tries to question this woman, but she is so drugged she can't talk. So Bryan takes her to his car and with difficulty makes his escape from a swarm of angry Albanians.

Jean-Claude demands a meeting with Bryan out in the open by the river. When Jean-Claude arrives, his cell rings. It is Bryan saying he doesn't trust meeting Jean-Claude (until he gets Kim back). Jean-Claude says his boss hit the roof over the construction site violence. While the boss wanted Bryan arrested, Jean-Claude has convinced him to authorize instead a third class ticket to send Bryan back to America. Bryan refuses. Jean-Claude's men have been triangulating the source of Bryan's phone call and a squad of men burst onto a nearby rooftop. There they find a cell phone rigged to call a third phone. Bryan escapes.

Nursing the girl back to health from an involuntary drug addiction, Bryan finds out where the kidnappers took her when she was abducted. Bryan heads to the address, walks in bold as brass and presents Jean-Claude's business card as his own. Bryan is led past several thugs to a dirty kitchen. Four Albanians are seated around a table. Bryan tries to ascertain who is the leader but they all claim to be Marco and all from the town Bryan's language expert had identified. Bryan gives them a story about their old police contact had been transferred and now "Jean-Claude" will be collecting the bribes which have just gone up. After some hard bargaining, a deal is reached and Bryan thinks he has identified the figure. As he leaves, Bryan stops and says a friend gave him a note in Albanian. Bryan says he is wondering if the note is a joke, hands it to the apparent leader, and asks him to translate it. The leader (the real Marco) responds "good luck." Bryan says to him "don't you remember me? I told you I was going to find you" and all hell breaks loose. When the gun smoke clears, Bryan has killed all of them but Marco. Bryan searches for Kim in all the rooms of the building. He finds several women and Amanda's body handcuffed to a bed (apparently dead due to a heroin overdose). Bryan tortures Marco. Marco tells Bryan Kim was sold to a man named Saint Clair.

Jean-Claude comes home for a late supper with his wife to discover Bryan is visiting! Jean-Claude's wife says we will eat as soon as you tuck the children in. On his way back from that chore, Jean-Claude stops at his desk for a pistol he tucks into the back of his waistband. Bryan accuses Jean-Claude of being bribed to ignore the Albanians and demands Jean-Claude locate this Saint Clair. Jean-Claude pulls the pistol. Jean-Claude talks about the gap between his meager pay and the cost of maintaining his family in the style they deserve. Bryan tells Jean-Claude that he has been behind a desk too long if he can't tell the difference in weight between a loaded gun and an unloaded one. Bryan has several bullets in his hand and the gun is empty. Bryan pulls his own pistol and repeats his demand. Jean-Claude refuses. Bryan shoots Jean-Claude 's wife in the arm. Jean-Claude uses his computer to access police files that locate Saint Clair.

Again posing as Jean-Claude, Bryan gains access to a party Saint Clair is hosting. Bryan discovers Saint Clair is hosting a much darker "party" on a lower level. Bryan assumes the guise of a waiter and gains access to a darkened room. It is one of a series of darkened rooms encircling an enclosed stage. On the stage are a young woman and an auctioneer. In each darkened room is a bidder buying women. The bidding ends and the girl is led away. The auctioneer announces the last and best woman of the evening's auction, a virgin--it is Kim. Bryan forces the buyer in this darkened room to outbid the others to purchase her, but Bryan is captured and knocked unconscious. He awakens suspended from a pipe just below the ceiling, Saint Clair identities him as Kim's father and leaves his security guards with orders to execute Bryan quietly--mustn't disturb the guests upstairs. Bryan escapes while killing the guards. Bryan runs into Saint Clair returning to object to the noise of a gunshot. Saint Clair says Kim has been bought by Arab clients and pleads unsuccessfully for his life by saying "it was just business". Bryan tracks his daughter to a sheikh's yacht sailing down the Seine. Bryan jumps on to the ship from a bridge and eliminates all the people inside, finally freeing his daughter.

Back in the US, Kim is reunited with her mother. Lenore even hugs Bryan in thanks. Later, Bryan mysteriously collects Kim and takes her to a very nice home Kim has never seen before. As Kim knocks, Bryan steps back. Pop Diva Sheerah opens the door. It is her home and over her shoulder at a piano we can see Sheerah's wonderful vocal coach. Sheerah takes Kim by the arm while saying she had heard Kim wants to be a singer, let's see what you've got.

"You don't remember me. I have spoken to you in the phone two days ago, I told you I will find you"
